About 3 years ago I wanted to make a change in my life. I felt unbelievably unhappy with myself and just always tired and had the lowest self esteem ever. One day driving to work I decided “I want to join a gym” but KNEW I wouldn’t stick to it, I was too scared of judgement. Luckily my husband wanted. Get in better shape too so he was happy to join me. I remember walking into the gym absolutely terrified and embarrassed and kept my head down a lot. I feel like everyone was staring at me and judging me. Working through that fear I just stopped caring about what other people thought and came to realize that no one was staring or judging me lol. They’re all there to work out and better themselves and mind their own business. Over the course of a year with a mix of working out 3-5 days a week and switching to a plant based diet I lost almost 80lbs and not only felt better physically but mentally. Best decision I’ve ever made. Even if I’m exhausted I love how I feel after a good workout. Even if it’s just an hour on the treadmill walking and light running, it’s better than nothing. Awesome video! I have used the water glass near bed and it works awesome! I have a nice clear skin now, I have a water bottle which contains 1L and I fill it 3 times a day so that I drink at least 3L of water each day. About the super foods, unfortunately in my country Iran, salmon or probiotic yogurt is super expensive, and kale, quinoa or blueberry is unavailable or very rare. Also, what do you think about intimate fasting? I have started 18-6 and it's working well for me (skip breakfast); Although I really love eating breakfast so I think I have to skip dinner! I also loved your workouts, I have changed my lifestyle from coach potato to a much more active person! I try to walk more and exercise everyday even if it's not much ( 30 minutes a day) but after 3 months I am feeling big difference! I just skip weekends to rest. I also add shower in the morning to my routine which makes me feel high energy for the whole day! One other thing that I have updated is to wear my best clothes everyday from the morning, because I feel good when I wear good! I also try to write my schedule for tomorrow the night before, it helps a lot to be organized through the day. You are amazing and I can't wait for more videos from you! thanks!
Great tips. I myself also like to add sweet potatoes. They are a carb, but they are so nutritionally dense it is worth incorporating. I like to make my own yogurt - good food to have! i also like avocado. My goal is to have a smoothie or nutritionally dense soup depending on the season most days during the week.
