I think this is my favorite song from the whole album and possibly out of her entire discography. Those lyrics “As the tears cry their leaves, vulnerable just like me” and the way she sings them hits me straight in the heart. I relate so much to her sentiments and passion and pain
This song reminds me of my relationship with my mom, I haven't called her for months, and I know I will regret it the day she is gone, but whenever I am near her it hurts me so I decided to stay away from her, it hurts me too much not to be able to improve our relationship, she represents my home and yet I don't feel it as my home. This whole album feels very accurate with my family situation now, it makes me feel understood, thank you Aurora.

We only had him for about a year when his health started declining. I loved him so much that when I lost him, I shut myself off so I wouldn’t have to feel the pain. This song just brought everything rushing back. The lyrics, the rocking horse, and the guitar. He loved the sound of the guitar. Thank you. This is truly the best kind of gift you could give humanity while they grieve for their lost loved ones❤️

This song already means so much to me. It would’ve without a doubt had me bawling back in January. I had my first breakup that month and it was… rough. Not like there were any huge fights or arguments rough but my ex feel out of love with me and wouldn’t tell me for months. It was a terribly toxic cycle for me to feel them drift away and try to cling onto what was left. In those months, I started listening more to AURORA. Without a doubt, your music has helped me through those times immensely. This song reminds me of how I first felt with the break up and reminds me of how much I’ve already grown and healed. I’ve found someone who has treated me with the love and affection I really deserve. I’ve learned to not allow being put on shelves and that I don’t need a cure for me. Thank you AURORA. @@tangyrnts It hurts a lot initially. And it may hurt a lot for a while.. It’s a whole grieving process and it’s very difficult at first. But eventually you’ll see improvements in yourself. The same pain doesn’t stick around forever. Maybe you’ve heard that a thousand times already and I’m sorry if you’re sick of hearing it in that case but I promise it does feel better eventually. Keep fighting, I promise it’s worth it
