There's an Irish movie company that have made several really great cartoon/animation films with really nice music and such a lovely story in all of them. The Secret of Kells, The Song of the Sea and the latest Wolfwalkers where this song is in the most happy and beautiful scenes, with two wolf/human-girls running through the woods and having fun. I highly reccommend all of these films for your child and yourself, if you like Aurora. I live perhaps a half hour away from Aurora, and it's so cool that she have become such a "celeb", and instead of the usual empty-minded, sex-obsessed and shallow artists around, she's really special, totally herself and don't have to act, but is the best she can be, when she is herself. 🙂

Aurora wrote the song during the blood moon in 2014. She told The 405: "I just imagined the moon turning all the people around the world into wild animals, running away from all the rules, all the materialism and technology. Just being a part of nature again, running free."

Her style is in no way unique 😂 she just has a low tempo and talks into the mic. For some reason people like this shit??? The only problem with Aurora is when you randomly remember her songs you start swaying and twirling. Fine during a forest walk. Awkward at the shops. She's a delight. This song really does make you want to just sprint out of the office and head to the forest. Such a crystalline voice.

I was heartwrecked with Runaway, hypnotized by Queendom and The Seed, loved all the beauty of Exist for love, it's classic oldie undertone,.. She is giving me chills.

It reminds me of a road trip with my beautiful husband of 14 years. ❤️ We ran through the sunset through the beautiful roads between tall forest trees and tall mountains of Colorado. We were running and running, trying to get out of there before dark, we were the only ones there. Suddenly, Aurora comes on singing Running with the Wolves. What a perfect time for this wonderful song… I’ll forever cherish this beautiful moment. ❤️

this song is just soothing yet upsetting, it makes me feel anger and sadness yet at the same time it gives me hope and the dream, to be free one day.
I love how every song she writes and publishes, has meaning in it and every song is an emotional rollercoaster
This song always makes me feel a weird feeling of need of freedom- I always want to just abandon whatever I'm doing and start to run and dance.
It's weird, but it's also sort of distressing, because I never feel like I'm truly free- like it's just barely out of my reach and I'm desperately trying to get it

But- and at least to me- it's a very difficult feeling to deal with. Reality and expactations are really high all the time and sometimes it seems like it will never stop, I wish I could abandon everything and run free, but I know that's unrealistic.
@@luisahomura8527 yeah I relate, I think I am pretty susceptible to caring too much about what I think people want or like from me vs what would actually be best for me, and I'm trying to teach myself that the only expectations I should care about are my own, and even if I can't control what people think of me, what I can control is the power I give to it and how much I let it affect me. It's not easy to do but I hope over time I'll come to learn that life is too short to live a life by someone else's rules, and that the thing that will make me happiest in the end is doing and learning what I want, rather than what others want, and I hope that you can eventually learn to live that way and feel more free too. Living to please others will only make you miserable, and that's no way to live. It's hard not to feel like you need to give others everything you can, but you can be much more at peace with yourself once you accept that no matter what you do it won't be enough for everyone, so long as it's enough for you that's all that matters

Idk why i love this so soooo so much. It’s such an indescribable feeling. All i can say is that it makes me think of my life, the ones before me and somehow provokes my curiosity in mythology that includes wolves. I’ve felt it in many movies, many books. I felt it when I finished the movie Nimona and after watching WolfWalkers. You know there’s a deeper message but you just can’t get what it is. It leaves you with a heavy feeling that is a bunch of emotions mixed together. Again, indescribable.

But at the same time, there a countless songs out there, who are by no means 'better' than this song, but have been published by more established artists and therefore these 'songs' are more successful.
It's refreshing to see a female musician that's doesn't reply on nudity or stupidity.
Aurora is mesmerizing to listen to, and to WATCH. The way she uses her body language and facial expressions to tell a story is extremely delicate and convincing. Makes me wonder if she has a background in theater.
