AND, worse, a run away hot-house or "Venus" effect that literally kills all life even microbes is something we could cause. We legitimately could cause the Earth to be uninhabitable to everything.
The word 'Earth' doesn't mean rock or dirt, it means Soil, as in living microbes, living planet. If we cause a Venus-effect then Earth would no longer be /Earth/ it would be a rock. I don't want that, and you shouldn't either.
We can avoid that. But to do so, we much change.
We must stop corporations from destroying our planet and buying off our governments. We must elect only politicians who will act.
There is no "safeguards", this is not a movie. There isn't some magic barrier that's going to spring to life.
WE must change ourselves, and not lie to ourselves as if we couldn't act. It is in our control. We Can Act Now, and We Must ACT NOW. Apathy is death.
And again, I don't want to die. So why don't we at least try, yeah? At Least Try.
Yea but climate change is normal I can't believe how many people have been fooled by the idea that we are making such a difference to climate change, really!! So volcanic eruptions for millions of years and continental shifts land slides ice ages and meteor impacts don't have any impact on climate change! Hmm but we really need to drive in battery cars 😂😂
