Tank is looking so nice. So many happy corals. So much easier once they hit that year mark. Can't believe it's been nearly a year on the livestreams, great to see everyone on a Friday. Always gets a 👍 up.
Thank you very much mate, yeah feel like it's finally getting somewhere, it's not been easy but I've loved it, oh I know, time flys when you are having fun!
Tank is looking fantastic now. Makes it all worthwhile battling through that algae phase. Probably the best I've seen it since I started watching your channel. Well done👍
Hope you’re well Ross. That little tank is looking superb, a great range of corals and colours, will just continue getting better and better - you have done a pretty special job there.
Tank is looking superb Ross and spot on with just leaving to grow out as so easy to just add more and more. It does help that you will have another tank to focus on. Great update 🔥🔥
Thanks Paul, yeah I dont want to add any more to it, I'd love the zoas to grow out and cover the rockwork more so will just let them do their thing now
Tank looks amazing and I like the “simple” filtration. Being back in the hobby after 14 years, I feel like a lot of folks push new conveniences or gadgets as necessities when besides physical filtration media like filter socks or floss and some biomedia + rock to house beneficial bacteria and reduce nitrates - what else do you really need? Sure carbon and phos reducers can be nice as needed and a protein skimmer can help in a heavily stocked and/or overfed tank, but if you keep your bio load reasonable and take good care of your tank, a lot of those move from necessities to optional. Keep pushing out great content! Your channel is one of my favorites
Thanks Matt, yeah I wanted to keep this tank as simple as possible, and I think it has worked out well! I dont want to get lazy with it and let technology run the tank, oh thank you very much, that really does mean a lot! I appreciate it 🙏
Thanks very much mate, no I won't neglect them, I dont know how exciting they will be tho as I won't be adding much to the tank now, just going to let it grow out and do its thing
The tank looks awesome and very very nice corals! I’m loving the torches and I’m definitely going to use this video for inspiration when I’m buying my torches. Really well done 👍🏻
Love the live stream. Feel like a real community and a good mix of nano and big tanks you guys have got. I've just down grade my 250 back to my evo as I'm moving house. I prefer the nanos. Love your channel. I also enjoy jd reef youtube channel is a fellow reefer just started a monster water box build and had similar problems to you with them. His old tank was amazing would be a good guest for livestream also he is a fellow scot, just to keep the balance 😉
Thank you very much mate, yeah the livestreams are going well and we all really enjoy doing them, we don't take things to serious and try not to have it be too boring, oh nice one, the nano should be much easier to maintain then! Yeah ive watched some of his videos, can you imagine 2 scottish guys on the livestream, the viewers would be lost haha
Tank looks great. It really does make the tank pop with the clear background vs the black so you positioned it well. Also, I just realised this, but I swear you look like the scottish Braun Strowman
Thank you very much, yeah ive always preferred the clear backgrounds, makes the tank look better in my opinion! Haha I had to google him but yeah you are right hahahaha
Thanks mate, yeah feeling ok now, the stand is from a company called aquarium cabinet solutions here in the UK but yeah you could definitely make your own!
Thanks mate, I got them from Nessies Lair, they usually have some really nice ones in! They can ship them to you too and you get 10% off with my code beardedreef10 👍
One of prettiest tank I’ve seen on here
Thank you so much!

Thanks mate, yeah feeling ok now, the stand is from a company called aquarium cabinet solutions here in the UK but yeah you could definitely make your own!
@@BeardedReef i live in Florida. It would cost a fortune to ship a stand that size here
Yeah it would but maybe someone in Florida that builds aquarium cabinets?
@@BeardedReef me lol i build anything house related including houses. I actually built my house from the ground up. 👍
Awesome! You definitely need to build one then mate! I look forward to seeing it

What is your lighting schedule?
I run my own custom schedule, there is a video on my channel about it all
Do I need a wave maker in a nano tank?
Can i mix long tip anemone and bubble tip anemone?
I've never kept anemones before so I haven't done any research on them sorry
