Done!
I will keep this in mind when/if i finally get to the point of adding fish.
completely agree with captive bred and farmed corals rather than wild caught ones. appreciate it, at least some people understand.
Lmao, the Pajama Cardinal Fish segment had me rolling. I've had so many people tell me the look pretty and I just don't get it XD
my exact thoughts. That fish is ugly as hell. :D
You’re content deserves more subs. I appreciate what you’re putting out.
Banggai cardinal is the most beautiful fish ever for me. They are not ugly at all
100% with you on sustainability! Awesome video, always fun to hear peoples opinions on what they feel are the best fish for beginners! Cheers!
thanks for watching man! It's to see your channel doing so well. And for sure, I feel like its the only path forward for the hobby, especially with the fish collection bans that have recently been instated
Great video. That was hilarious. Thanks for the smile.
Loving this video! Sure this will help beginners
I hope so =D thank you for watching!
Loved seeing the picture of your lion fish.
thank you for sending it!
I LOL multiple times. 😂 Thanks!
Thank you
Awesome video, you have great energy 😎
thanks so much! =D I'd love for you to subscribe if you haven't!
I have :)
@@jessicajohnston3893 thanks so much =D
👍
I know some people will think it’s blasphemy, but hey some damsels are actually really nice!
Yellowtails, Azures, Talbot’s, Tracey’s, Starcki’s to name a few. I am personally getting Azures and Talbot’s for my setup!
How about wrasses? Halichoeres wrasses are good for pest control and many are beautiful. I also love the smaller Hogfishes, Fairy Wrasses too.
A Flameback or Cherub Angelfish would be a good alternative to the Coral Beauty while remaining smaller. :) Might be more aggressive but very pretty! I MIGHT get a trio of African Flamebacks depending on what I want for larger fish! (What I end up choosing)
Shrimp and Goby pairs, Hawkfishes (might be more of a risk to shrimp and some larger species can eat smaller fish).
Cool video as always Nate!
talbots damselfish is one I'd consider for a reef tank, and cherub angels are great too. ORA breeds them so they almost made the list but I liked coral beauties better haha
Very interesting video
thanks so much for watching =D
What about the captive bred Regal tangs, Yellow tangs and even copperbands.
What about Azure damselfish? I thought they were the most relaxed of all damsels. See Azure damselfish less aggressive and ok?
Damsels are very territorial. they are easy to take care of but you better be ready for a damsel only tank. I have a 29 nano. One damsel. He attacks everything to defend his territory including a cleaner shrimp. When I do maintenance, he attacks me. My husband finds it entertaining listening to me scream stop biting me
yep, they're big old meanies haha mine have attacked me too
I have a rollands and yellowtail damsel and they're super peaceful
I've heard that those aren't mean and only stake out small territories. I might just have to make a video about damsel fish that dont suck haha thanks for watching =D
@@StudioGhibletz true they're in a super rocky 75 gal with bigger fish so I'm sure that helps
Foxfaces and Rabbitfish too. :)
I wanted to include those on this list but they're a little too big for beginners I think
I swear from this day forward to only purchase either aquacultured live stock or stuff from tank breakdowns no matter how tempting it may get! Many of the animals in our hobby don't have much of a chance surviving an aquarium to begin with and I'm so sick of seeing and hearing of people killing 5, 6, or even more of a certain species of fish inorder to get one that survives for a few months, or if they get extremely lucky a year or two when in the wild these fish can live three to four decades and then some. Some even have the nerve to claim success.
It's also becoming more and more feasible to buy aquacultured. There's new species being bred everyday. As for coral or nems, there's no excuse for buying wild caught any more. You can get any coral you might want and get it from an aquacultured source. It's good to hear this by the way! Glad I could help inspire you!
My eyes hurt when I see designer Clowns!!!!
haha I know how you feel about them!
Lmao good video
I’m a beginner and I was wondering what size to get as the guy said 30 is good but other pages say 50 is the minimum for beginners
will the both cardinal fish eat my shrimp?
What about fire fish
None of my Banggai survived more than a few weeks
If you ever need ideas for videos...Top fish that are Not reef safe...Top Picky Eaters.
those are some great ideas! I will give you a shout out when I do one like this! =D
My coral beauty angelfish died :(
sorry to hear that :'(
So I got a bicolor angelfish and it died as well
And my scopas tang does not die
those always seem to be either really tough or really sickly haha be sure to subscribe and check out our new animation content!
Are Pajama cardinals ugly? Seriously?
you aren't the expert you portray yourself to be.
Can you explain why not
@@Kidzfoodreview he is stating misconceptions as facts
Haaaaa......Boring.
