To anyone trying a complete teardown...the keyboard bezel (the part around the keys and touchpad, i.e. the "inside" when it is folded) is GLUED to the rest of the chassis. DO NOT try to pop the plastic tabs up and take off the keyboard from the outside. You can only access it for maintenance from the bottom panel. This is not like other laptops where the bezel will snap back into the little tabs. It will have to be super glued back down if you pop it off. Just a warning after I fucked mine up.

WORD OF CAUTION: I replaced the screen (and top cover), however, when I turned it on, the option to connect to wireless wi-fi wasn't even popping up? It said there was a problem with the adapter? I re-opened it, switched the 1 & 2 cables (didn't pay attention to the numbers at first), BUT before I could test it, I smelled like something was burning... And the mother board was getting HOT right above the Hard Drive. I ignored it and hoped it was normal, and began to put everything back together when I soon saw smoke coming out (like something popped). It was so fast. I tried to inspect where the smoke came from but I still can't tell what happened? I'm lost. Now the computer won't even turn on. I connect the charger - the orange light turns on (with battery in). i hit the power button - it turns white but nothing happens and after a few seconds the white light turns off again. No sound or anything. Heat sink won't run. Screen never turns on Any recommendations on where to start? I think I burned components on the motherboard because I was metal screw drivers instead of wood utensils like in the video, so i'm thinking about getting a brand new motherboard...
