Great interview with Ben Webster. Cool to see how he and Pivot have advocated for using Class 1s on South Mtn. Also, yes, the trails are dusty and looooose this time of year! 😅
I feel that Shimano drive unit is 10% slower on 30 min uphill climb, than Specialized Brose. I ride Pivot Shuttle LT now, I use to ride Specialized Kenevo.
Thank you! We’d love to head east to visit them and do plan to do it, but for now it’s very expensive and time consuming to go there from our base in Bend, OR. We’re working on it!
@@TheLoamWolf Valid point, I wasn’t thinking about you guys being based in OR. What about New Mexico, any good riding there? CO seems to be pretty much anti-ebike even though I have yet to see a trail do a bike check!
We haven't done much research on NM ebike spots. But there are a few rad trails in Salida, Colorado to ride, happened to do them during a Pivot press camp. They are OHV trails, but pretty rough and rowdy.
pizza in Phx: Hot Daisy, Crust Bros, Brooklyn V's, via Della also be aware of that "valley fever" - can be a pita for your health (short term, thankfully)
Don't get me wrong, Pizza is almost never bad. I have been to both Bianco Locations, done the 4 hour wait and always thought the pizza there was way overrated.
Thanks - I'm planning a mtb/emtb-van trip and appreciate your tour of emtb-legal ride locations :) It seems like the emtb industry is negatively influenced by people illegally riding emtb's at certain trails; risking access for all and creating animosity with mtb riders that respect the rules of access.
Thank you for watching and appreciate the feedback. We certainly want to do our part to help avoid people spending money to travel somewhere that isn’t welcoming to their type of bike and hope to offer alternative places that may not be as popular, but welcome emtb riders! #embracethefuture haha
#1 takeaway is how underwhelming Pizzeria Bianco is - felt the same way. Maybe the best Pizza 20+ years ago? They were innovators for sure, but way better pizza elsewhere now in Phoenix (and especially the Bay Area/NY).
Well, hopefully the #1 takeaway is that PHX is a rad spot to visit and ride your bike and Pivot did an awesome job urging the governing bodies to allow Class 1 eMTB access, but pizza is important too. haha.
You clicked this video on accident #6 I found an expensive bike in this hiking area and took it like 8 years ago, still to this day not sure if someone temporarily left it there and would come back later on 😬
Someone could have parked it to hike in and look at something, or someone could have also been seriously injured and was transported out and the bike was left until a friend could return to bring it out. Both are things we've done in the past.

Home sweet home!!! I love it

I like this series! I’d like to see more east coast riding destinations; North Carolina, Georgia, etc.

@@TheLoamWolfSpeaking of Bend, any insights as to more eMTB access discussions around here? I know the Deschutes USFS is stuck on ‘No’ atm.
Emtb newbi from N Phx only been riding up here but will go ride S Mountain for sure now love your guys' videos, learn a lot keep it up!
Awesome! Thank you!
@@TheLoamWolf can I ride an emtb on the Gautamala trip?
If you would like to! Only issue will be traveling/ flying with battery but, go ahead!
🎉👏👏
Very cool place to visit. My son played Baseball at south mountain CC. Rode my naturally aspirated bike there a ton.
Naturally aspirated 🤣
Haha. That’s a good one. It’s our first time ebiking there, definitely let us cover way more miles.
That place is bitchin. Happy trails
Sunrise Ski Park in Greer AZ would be a fun trip for you guys.. BME Enduro is there is weekend.
Thanks for the tip! We’ll add it to the list!

Thanks for sharing. We'll try 'em next time we're down there.

Glad to hear we aren’t taking crazy pills!! We will say, if you get to Knoxville, you have to hit A ‘Dopo!
No pizza in the world is worth waiting 4hrs for!!

Come to Santa Cruz!
We love riding there, sadly not much ebike legal access for us to promote at this time…or any legal trail for that matter. 😂😂
wow❤❤❤
It’s a pretty rad spot!
@@TheLoamWolf your video is so good, my name is soumya, I am live in india i am big fan of your video and you❤❣.
Thank you very much for watching and we appreciate you being a fan!
Didn't know Endura were making pyjamas...
New lineup. While we’re not normally fans of PJs, these things are incredibly light, breathable and comfy. So that was a win.

Are there legal emtb trails there?
