My friendships are being tested as people are arguing about Valor, Mystic, or Instinct.
It took a mobile game, and a pretty darn fun one at that, to help me socialize with other people who love the same things as me! It helped me make some actual friends, go out for the first time, and just be an actual teen instead of a lonely hermit. Who knows, Pokémon Go might actually help me get a girlfriend. Only time will tell.

natural enviroment my a** , im in a rural area and there's literally nothing because pockemon spawn is related to population density. you woud think pockemon shoud be plenty in the wilderness but NOPE , they are all in the city.....

nah, i live on long island. there are barely that many pokemon around where i live that are rare. barely any pokestops or landmarks, go to new york city like i did and there will be a pokemon a landmark and a pokestop every 15 fuckin feet lol

I always feel a huge amount of joy when I see a new SYNK, and even though many are mad at PokeGo people need to remember "IT JUST FUCKING CAME OUT!" so cool it many other phone games don't get shit right until after the 1st year of crazy amount of debug updates etc, what I want to know is will they make the Go game as real as the actual videogame, adding all the pokemon that are know, letting us battle the pokemon (the way it's meant to be) b4 you can capture it, battles with other trainers and of course how long until tournaments start up worldwide
Team mystic is like the USA. It is most succsessful, but the members are dicks. Team valor is like russia, close behind mystic, but less annoying. Team instinct is Canada. Smaller, and less into agressive.

And very week but they are waiting for a 'golden opportunity' to strike and launch nukes of high level (10000 cp) snorklaxes to every gym and take them over while everyone is done with the game except team instinct.

the moment that I will play Pokemon Go in would be when we get Weavile , Lucario , The Fennekin line , Alolan Raichu , Pyukumuku , Bonsly , Chespin , Mew , Tapu Lele , Tapu Fini , Audino , Sinvy , Oshawott , Mime Jr. , Sylveon , Mega Ampharos , Mega Swampert , The Mudkip line , the Treecko line , Dartix , Jerachi , Espurr , Leafeon , Spinda , Leveling up with EXP and not candy , strategy , items like Choice Band , Focus Sash , Mega Evolution , the list goes on .

+PURE BADASS RAW RAGE I found a crabby, kingler, squirtle, and a shelder in my neighbourhood where there is no water whatsoever. Therefore water isn't needed to get water pokemon, but it does help

Another fantastic video! It has inspired me to be the very best, like no one ever was!
And I'm having a fairly good time with Pokémon GO. Definitely is fun, even if the game play is a little thin when you get down to it... But I expected as much. What I think is the most incredible part about Pokémon GO is the social aspect of it, it's bringing people together in ways I never thought a game could and that is pretty awesome.
BUT, still, nothing beats the actual Pokémon games. Pokémon GO is basically a distraction for me until Pokémon Sun and Moon comes out. And when that happens, I'll probably drop Pokémon GO really quickly.

Best explanation of this phenomenon I've heard yet... Can't say I haven't been sucked in so it's really cool to look at the potential future of this wonderful little game :)
I've since a long time talked about augmented reality, augmented intelligence and transhumanism in general and I totally agree with your comments. Reality needs to be redefined.
Full effects Yu-gi-oh TCG would be pretty sweet in augmented reality. Use real card numbers, or buy them digitally...and duel with whoever you see that plays using a GPS to locate nearby players. Could do it with other TCG's like Magic the Gathering. Maybe put secret random chests in locations on the GPS with special cards you have a chance of unlocking via dueling a preset computer at a certain level, which changes strategy depending on your deck.
Or augmented Digimon, which isn't a big stretch from Pokemon GO.
Raiding a dungeon that is really just the opening to a wide forest, or a walking tunnel, in a augmented version of Elder Scrolls (though, something of that magnitude is difficult)
Possibilities are literally endless. I think the biggest issue with different franchises doing this kinda stuff, is that all of our realities will be different. In a way, we will end up being less connected with others around us, because we all play in different realities, yet are in the same world.
At the same time, it could be more social within those communities...I don't know.
Augmented reality is cool, but there could be a lot of issues when too many people try to create different realities for us to enjoy. How they interact in the real world could have issues, depending on how each game / app is implemented or used.

You should talk about how Ingress was some baby steps into AR and paved the way for Pokemon Go. Seeing as it's the same team and they use the same locations. Ingress was a ton of fun.

A lot of people will say that augmenting people for Pokemon and stuff is somewhat trivial, but I mean there's like 8 different social media sites that all do the same thing.
Wat sucks is that here in South Africa is that they haven't exactly registered everything so none of the houses are registered and there isn't a lot of gyms or stops or Pokemon here.
People saying Pokemon go is bad cuz it distracts people while they walk but imagine if it were a vr game. Everybody would be walking around with oculus on their head and it would actually make the game more fun and interesting

with this said I can see people setting up shops, as pokemon centres/ ie pokemon centres to heal people's phones can you imagine the cash you could possibly get.
