They buff all this crap and the tenderizer still sucks. It does more damage to enemeis currently but that's cuz they removed the bug buffs they implimented these past few months. Honestly shocked me considering how many wanted the AR. Aw well. Im done. Peace guys. Glad the rest of you got love. Im out. Deleting the game today.

Absolutely. What makes it hard is those 500 nerds are the loudest fucking thing in the room. They insult and trash talk anyone that has a different opinion yet they screech like a kid with bees in his pants about anything they don’t like.

They’re mad that Arrowhead is decreasing the overall difficulty because they want it to be even harder, right now, ignoring the fact that difficulty 10 is not the hardest difficulty, they’ll be adding higher levels as they develop them.

That’s crazy! The game has hovered around 30,000 when I started playing a few weeks ago. I played yesterday and it was still 30,000. I hope it’s the same if not bigger this weekend. Need more people on the mics.
So incredibly satisfying to use a 500kg and take out all the chaff, a bile titan, and a charger while being blown backwards from the explosion of democracy
@@K1NG_of_ReVeNGe1 not unusable, as the burn damage was the main source before hand, and about 2 could handle a charger, and one would take out the cannon turret from the automatons
They don't have it in the patch notes, but in the patch video they mentioned that the Recoilless Rifle got a damage increase from 650 to 3250, and the Spear was increased from 1000 to 4000. This is huge for both of these weapons!

Honestly as an advocate for the commando and someone who uses it constantly against bots, this feels like a good change. Destroying 4 fabricators per commando at massive range was a bit much, considering the cooldown time. The change to add fabricator health brings the other heavy weapons up to the commando’s fabricator killing potential and (for me) turns it from a must take against bots to a viable take against bots along with all the other heavy explosive weapons.
HAPPY BUFFPENDANCE DAY TO ALL. Happy hunting and F ish up. They fixed the player menu now you can link up with the same team you were playing with if the game had crashed or lost connection and it even saves your load out.
Ok, I guess I missed that. I'm super happy overall, but 2 times I black screen crashed, and lost a ton of stuff. Where do you find the "link back up" feature at?
Helldiver? I was a helldiver once. Then I rage-quited because of defective weapons. Then I joined the chaosdivers to express my frustration. Then Super-Earth gov tried to convince me, promising changes, but I said: "I'll believe it when I'll see it". And today I saw it. Today I grabbed my trusty railgun, that has been restored to its former strength, and standed shoulder to shoulder with both helldivers and chaosdivers, knowing for sure that my weapon will do what it supposed to do. An this, my fellow divers, is the biggest freaking videogame comeback, if I ever saw one. Hope devs will not repeat previous mistakes.

I almost literally never used termite or spear before this. In fact, I think I took my extended break before the spear was fixed. So I came back and now I've used it a few times and my gosh it's fantastic. Thermite is basically permanently on my loadout too. Who needs to stun heavies when I can just stick 'em.

@Jim26D That's apparently how it was always supposed to be so you actually feel the effect of having your limbs broken. I think they need to expand on it a little bit. Like for instance if your arm is broken have it dangle at your side and you can only one hand guns then.
I'd like to see AH work on some of the audio for the enemies. It's wild that so many types of bots and bugs can sneak up behind you without making a peep.
Everything feels so much better to use now. Railgun, thermite grenade, eruptor, arc thrower. They all feel great to use. It feels like launch week again.
broski its not a jet pack u get one jump per cool down and the cooldown is already fast lmao u look away to do literally anything and its back charged before u know it
All but one. Tenderizer was untouched by the AR changes. It's still a pea shooter with low ammo. They removed bug buffs so it seems like it hits harder but it's doing the exact same damage to the smallest bugs on lvl2, which is 2 shots per bug unless you get lucky.
@@reaper_exd7498 a bunch of weapons that probably shouldve been buffed werent touched, but that doesnt mean they wont do another round of buffs in another patch. This was just the major round of buffs to renew interest in the game.
@@reaper_exd7498 Well i still want my 2 extra magazines for the Breaker incendiary back, but the weapons that i tested felt great and now i don't feel stuffed into 1-2 builds or suffer if i want something else.
@ryansmith1471 the "that sucks just use X" philosophy was the whole problem that led to today. I suspect there will be more buffs. Tenderizer and Purifier are two that come to mind. The purifier probably has the lowest pick rate in the game or will mow that the Con. Lib has a 60 round drum mag.
As soon as I realized today was patch day I updated my game and played just a round of bugs before starting my day and my goodness the changes were incredible. I went in with a stalwart and shield generator pack and went at it at the bugs. One thing that I didn’t see in the patch notes is the shield generators higher damage capacity. I had loads of hunters brood commanders and whatever the new ones where from eof all around me and she shield went down maybe twice throughout the game. The bugs went from being able to over whelm my playstyle to I am running out of ammo just trying to keep up! This is the best patch so far and I can’t wait to explore the rest.
25:36 I don't know if anybody said anything yet, but the devs also added sounds and other things because there's new beeps and the Titans actually make noises when they walk around and when they stomp on you you can actually hear their feet not to mention some of the bugs have new death sounds.
Omg I’ve mentioned this too!! You can hear enemies clearer - titan’s footsteps sound really funny but it’s helpful cuz you can hear it coming! I’ve noticed loads of new sounds and sound design :)
For the first time in months, I genuinely laughed and had fun. This is what the game is supposed to be about and I'm HOPING this is the direction the game keeps with going forth.
My guy, let's be real, we have no idea what's going on under the surface. They're not one entity they're a conglomerate of people being pulled in a thousand directions all at once between buffing/nerfing/satisfying Sony/making money/keeping players happy/realism/consistency/graphics/game feel/etc.
The real deciding factor in whether or not these buffs were enough is going to come this weekend. If numbers get back to 100k+ I'll be thoroughly impressed
Regarding Impalers, the dev video explained the tentacles do more damage to players but less ragdolling. The idea is they are more dangerous but easier to deal with if you focus on them. The tentacles retract from damage faster and the Impaler itself dies quicker, but if you ignore them, the spikes will punish you for it.
Love the way everything feels for the most part. They FINALLY fixed the crosshairs so, as someone who runs Diligence CS + AMR in botsville, I am extremely pleased. There does seem to be some weirdness introduced to cannon towers though. Pre-patch I was able to destroy them w 5 on target shots from AMR. Now they take 9-10 for some reason. Which...is a significant downgrade. Hulks still seem to drop to 2 on target hits, so im thinking the issue is w the tower hitbox more than anything, but i'll need to do more testing. All in all, it's a good patch. I'm happy
Yeah, same goes for tank heat sinks. Before, three or max 4 shots with the AC. Now? Will. You. Finally. Die?! In other words, also need more hits with the AC. Which makes it kind of awkward since the turret turning speed means you do not have the time to land enough hits if the tank decides you are its new favourite target. I still cannot decide whether that is a good thing or a bad, they died rather quickly before. Leaning towards "a bit overdone" when buffing the bot weak points but I guess we'll just have to learn to live with it.
On paper, I like the change to the gas machanics. It makes it different from fire by giving it slight smokescreen effects, so it’s like a hybrid between fire DoT and a smokescreen
Gas + Flamethrower is a pretty useful combination for holding breaches, except in open spaces. There, it's better to use the Arc Thrower so you don't get flanked.
This is an epic update. I'm looking forward to Arrowhead releasing higher tiers of difficulty now that the primary guns don't feel like they shoot cardboard pellets! WE"RE SO FUCKING BACK
Honestly first they should bump up the intensity of regular missions. Its weird that Automatons dont try to prevent you from launching ICBM on their comrades.
To put the armor pen change into perspective, going from 50% damage to 65% damage is actually a 30% damage increase, aka doing 30% more damage than we did before.
@@khimaros because it’s compared to the 50% damage we used to do when armor pen and armor lvl were the same. Going 50 to 65 is up by 15, and 15 / 50 = 0.3 = 30%
How am I supposed to pick a loadout now? I wanted to run the Liberator for so long but now the flame weapons are good, too? And the breaker? And don't get me started on the support weapons! How dare you, AH?! HOW DARE YOU!
Funny enough I played with some new stuff but still prefer my old loadout...Plas Pun, Spear, Orbital Gatling, Rocket and AC sentries. It just handles everything on 10.
I rolled with the Lib Carbine in a few bug missions and it legit felt like an assault rifle. It wasn't as good as many other choices but it was a fun time.
Ah, the fun part of actually enjoying all of the possible loadouta again! Now I have to play more to figure out which ones I love most. Oh, the agony of have to play for hours to learn.which ones I love most.
Been playing since 5:30 EST had the coffee pot set and helldivers is absolutely BACK. Ran into a few bugs, nothing crazy. Weapons feel FANTASTIC. Try running the scythe and laser cannon it melts literally everything
Omg man I have been waiting for the Lazer cannon to be usable. I used to run the Lazer dog, with the Lazer cannon just because it's dps was so bad I needed the dog to help me kill.anything.

I can finally say operation buff divers was a success. I love that I can use different loadouts and still do some good damage . This is what I wanted I was tired using meta loadouts to just try to stay alive .
The update is absolutely phenomenal. I guess it’s really confusing is it took them so much time to figure out what we wanted WHEN WE MADE IT CLEAR what we wanted. It’s not like this has been a mystery.

Can’t wait to blow stuff up with my beloved 500KG On another note, I wish they reduce the charge time of the arc thrower from 1s to somewhere between 0.5-0.75 seconds
The commando change against fabricators is probably a side effect of changes to the fabricator since they've given it proper health and armor stats. The impaler retraction change doesn't mean more tentacles, it means less like in the 1st game where they use them to protect it's face when shot at.
My only genuine complaint other than the gas. Limb damage seems to be a huge thing now. I literally had to look up the armor set that protected you from the limb damage. You can burn through stims so quick
Gas is actually great now. It has a function that flame should have; panic/taking aggro off you. Hunter swarms now get stuck and wander in the cloud, without immediately jumping and getting themselves out of the cloud.
No one is covering the orbital gas strike rework. I tested it today and I love it! When enemies get "confused" by the gas cloud they seem to go berserk and attack each other, very effective and fun to watch. So the reduced DoT is likely compensated by them attacking each other 👍
Played again with 2 friends. Felt like Day one but with more of everything. Felt great. Did not feel too easy. We were playing on 6 and it was absolutely fun and it felt like fat guns do fat damage and it was needed and there is enough to do with the swarms of hunters. Napalm Orbital is so frickin great. And the 500! Finally it FEELs Like a fat 500 blast. Eats small to medium Bug outposts with one hit. Absolutely useful and great. Does not feel overpowered. Just right. I love it. Just a fantastic hop in hop off Situation in the Evening. Can't wait for the 4th Fraction entering the Map.
All this makes me and the others engage more in Fights rather than just sneaking around to avoid everyone. Maybe great on higher levels, but when ok 6 or 7, i do not want to sneak around. I want to set the whole Map on fire and look at beautiful chaos.
My only complaint with the update is the change to damage we receive(Because your entire body is now the same as your head pre-change) has rendered armor types entirely meaningless as you are equally squishy regardless of Light/Med/Heavy, there is zero reason to wear anything outside of light armor for the stam/movement now. That and the Shield Generator Pack is almost mandatory now, assuming you don't want to run out of respawns fast.
It's rough on bots now. I was practically sleepwalking through 7s, now they're chewing through reinforcements and everybody keeps rage quitting. At least with bugs you can just stay away from them, bot lasers are harder to avoid entirely.
Hmm not at all lilyth, I played the whole day, used different armors and they still feel different… I always use light because I want the speed and regen but use medium and heavy for eradicate etc and it’s not the same…
They want glass cannon gameplay on both sides now. So... the armor sucks now for armor rating.They should prioritize armor passives if this is the new way forward.

What most likely happened is players just started playing other games, we have options in games to play whereas AH doesn't have many options other than fixing the game to bring people back.

Yup just thinking the same thing. It's nice they are finally fixing what they broke, but we still have ~200 nations of divers locked out, toxic community managers still running the show, and Sony will never admit they made a mistake trying to pad their PSN numbers by force and doubled down. I have been following hoping for good news, but I won't return unless we all dive free of the PSN registration act. It stays uninstalled with a negative review until they fix all the damage they caused.
Things id like to see: Throwing Knives moved to Secondary (Special) Slot instead of wasting Grenade slot and maybe AP 2 Orbital Precision Strike needs a slight buff due to HP increases... doesnt seem to kill chargers effectively anymore. Sounds of enemies around you fixed ASAP! (its not just large ones that can sneak up on you)
I mean with all of these buffs, I think it's enough. Enemies are weaker which means you need to deal less damage. This wasn't a restoration uppdate, they buffed most things to a point where they are stronger than ever before.
I ain't coming back. The devs are a joke, the community managers are a joke, the reddit and discord mods are turbo jokes, i don't desire to support this joke of a company any longer. I hope to see them fail because they deserve to after treating their own community like shit for months.

idk if anyone else has noticed yet, but i played a 3 man squad for a rise the flag on level 8 and it was crazy difficult.. stepping away from the flag (even for a moment) pretty much resets the flag. we had 7 titans countless chargers and even more small cannon fodder things... ending the round between 400 and 600 kills per diver

Played this for a couple hours this morning trying only new load outs and had an absolute blast. Was so shocked to see over 63k players on at 9am on a tuesday morning. Thermite grenades are my new favorite toy. The eruptor feels great again, everything I've tried so far has been fun. Loving experimenting with new load outs. Thank you arrowhead, loving the changes and i can't wait for the new warbond this thursday.
10:45 Was trying all sorts of weapons and having a blast using them. This is from someone who stopped playing a little before Escalation Update but tried that update and didn't return till now.
From what I can say so far after having a handful of hours in, but not testing everything, the one thing I can say is the damage adjustment that players take is a double-edge sword. While yes, we no longer see frequent oneshot wonder deaths, you'll now see far more frequent limb breaks and over all are 'squishier' to the point it is more normal to have a 2-3 hit death or constantly see hurt limbs. However, the change does seem to make the Sheild backpack seem especially strong now. I didn't see it get taken down anywhere near as often as when I used it some time ago. Chargers are indeed squishier along with Bile Titans too, and all the little damage changes they made to many primaries makes handling chaff rather easy in pretty much any scenario on the bug side of things. I didn't try any bot missions yet, but of what I did try the buffs are quite noticeable for sure.
I played a little this morning and was very pleasantly surprised. I went from running like 3 primaries to be actually being overwhelmed with choices. I saw people running laser builds, rocket builds, railguns, flamethrowers, basically everything. It was great to see such verity. My only fear is them backtracking the buff because they think it’s too strong. The small amount I played today was the most fun I had in a while with the game.

Oh and before you go "but they gave it more ammo." That ammo change was implimented weeks ago after they. Upped it's damage to 95 from 75. Yeah no.

did you notice that they stealth changed the guard dog? it no longer floats at head level it now floats above you so it doesnt accidently hit you

Fun fact, the thermites went from doing the damage of just under 2 liberator rounds to doing the damage of an orbital railcannon strike
100 to 2000 is an insane buff, but absolutely justified. Was unusable before, now works great

They don't have it in the patch notes, but in the patch video they mentioned that the Recoilless Rifle got a damage increase from 650 to 3250, and the Spear was increased from 1000 to 4000. This is huge for both of these weapons!
Damage was also increased for EAT and quasar, they stated they wanted both of those to be considered the “strong” anti-tank.

Honestly as an advocate for the commando and someone who uses it constantly against bots, this feels like a good change. Destroying 4 fabricators per commando at massive range was a bit much, considering the cooldown time.
The change to add fabricator health brings the other heavy weapons up to the commando’s fabricator killing potential and (for me) turns it from a must take against bots to a viable take against bots along with all the other heavy explosive weapons.
HAPPY BUFFPENDANCE DAY TO ALL. Happy hunting and F ish up. They fixed the player menu now you can link up with the same team you were playing with if the game had crashed or lost connection and it even saves your load out.

Helldiver? I was a helldiver once. Then I rage-quited because of defective weapons. Then I joined the chaosdivers to express my frustration. Then Super-Earth gov tried to convince me, promising changes, but I said: "I'll believe it when I'll see it". And today I saw it. Today I grabbed my trusty railgun, that has been restored to its former strength, and standed shoulder to shoulder with both helldivers and chaosdivers, knowing for sure that my weapon will do what it supposed to do.
An this, my fellow divers, is the biggest freaking videogame comeback, if I ever saw one. Hope devs will not repeat previous mistakes.

I almost literally never used termite or spear before this. In fact, I think I took my extended break before the spear was fixed. So I came back and now I've used it a few times and my gosh it's fantastic. Thermite is basically permanently on my loadout too. Who needs to stun heavies when I can just stick 'em.
When the infinite grenade glitch worked, the thermite was so much fun. Watching chargers runaround all sparkly was hilarious.

To be fair, there was next to no content in that update. Another few enemies and don't lackluster missions

@Jim26D That's apparently how it was always supposed to be so you actually feel the effect of having your limbs broken. I think they need to expand on it a little bit. Like for instance if your arm is broken have it dangle at your side and you can only one hand guns then.
They need to rework the Armor to offset some of the environmental modifiers. Give the cold armor the ability to resist cold effects

Now, hearing the Eruptor got Frag Grenade shrapnel and then hearing the Frag Grenade got buffed by half made me enthused.
Weapons actually being weapons, finally.
All but one. Tenderizer was untouched by the AR changes. It's still a pea shooter with low ammo. They removed bug buffs so it seems like it hits harder but it's doing the exact same damage to the smallest bugs on lvl2, which is 2 shots per bug unless you get lucky.
@@reaper_exd7498 a bunch of weapons that probably shouldve been buffed werent touched, but that doesnt mean they wont do another round of buffs in another patch. This was just the major round of buffs to renew interest in the game.

@ryansmith1471 the "that sucks just use X" philosophy was the whole problem that led to today.
I suspect there will be more buffs. Tenderizer and Purifier are two that come to mind. The purifier probably has the lowest pick rate in the game or will mow that the Con. Lib has a 60 round drum mag.
As soon as I realized today was patch day I updated my game and played just a round of bugs before starting my day and my goodness the changes were incredible. I went in with a stalwart and shield generator pack and went at it at the bugs. One thing that I didn’t see in the patch notes is the shield generators higher damage capacity. I had loads of hunters brood commanders and whatever the new ones where from eof all around me and she shield went down maybe twice throughout the game. The bugs went from being able to over whelm my playstyle to I am running out of ammo just trying to keep up! This is the best patch so far and I can’t wait to explore the rest.
25:36 I don't know if anybody said anything yet, but the devs also added sounds and other things because there's new beeps and the Titans actually make noises when they walk around and when they stomp on you you can actually hear their feet not to mention some of the bugs have new death sounds.
Omg I’ve mentioned this too!! You can hear enemies clearer - titan’s footsteps sound really funny but it’s helpful cuz you can hear it coming!

For the first time in months, I genuinely laughed and had fun. This is what the game is supposed to be about and I'm HOPING this is the direction the game keeps with going forth.
It is SO INSANE that it took them THIS long to finally think, “oh hey. Maybe we make this fun?”
My guy, let's be real, we have no idea what's going on under the surface. They're not one entity they're a conglomerate of people being pulled in a thousand directions all at once between buffing/nerfing/satisfying Sony/making money/keeping players happy/realism/consistency/graphics/game feel/etc.

Regarding Impalers, the dev video explained the tentacles do more damage to players but less ragdolling. The idea is they are more dangerous but easier to deal with if you focus on them. The tentacles retract from damage faster and the Impaler itself dies quicker, but if you ignore them, the spikes will punish you for it.
Love the way everything feels for the most part. They FINALLY fixed the crosshairs so, as someone who runs Diligence CS + AMR in botsville, I am extremely pleased.
There does seem to be some weirdness introduced to cannon towers though. Pre-patch I was able to destroy them w 5 on target shots from AMR. Now they take 9-10 for some reason. Which...is a significant downgrade. Hulks still seem to drop to 2 on target hits, so im thinking the issue is w the tower hitbox more than anything, but i'll need to do more testing.
All in all, it's a good patch. I'm happy
Tank front armour was buffed, antitank is the way to go now for them, but they die to more things from back.

Yeah, same goes for tank heat sinks. Before, three or max 4 shots with the AC. Now? Will. You. Finally. Die?!
In other words, also need more hits with the AC. Which makes it kind of awkward since the turret turning speed means you do not have the time to land enough hits if the tank decides you are its new favourite target.
I still cannot decide whether that is a good thing or a bad, they died rather quickly before. Leaning towards "a bit overdone" when buffing the bot weak points but I guess we'll just have to learn to live with it.
So happy they used my idea for the gas rework I sent to them a while back. Much more fun and unique now

On paper, I like the change to the gas machanics. It makes it different from fire by giving it slight smokescreen effects, so it’s like a hybrid between fire DoT and a smokescreen
Gas + Flamethrower is a pretty useful combination for holding breaches, except in open spaces. There, it's better to use the Arc Thrower so you don't get flanked.

All fabricators can be damaged by all weapons based on health bar. The developers specifically said this in their full-length video
To put the armor pen change into perspective, going from 50% damage to 65% damage is actually a 30% damage increase, aka doing 30% more damage than we did before.
Can you explain why it's not the 15% damage increase that it looks like on paper?
@@khimaros because it’s compared to the 50% damage we used to do when armor pen and armor lvl were the same. Going 50 to 65 is up by 15, and 15 / 50 = 0.3 = 30%

Funny enough I played with some new stuff but still prefer my old loadout...Plas Pun, Spear, Orbital Gatling, Rocket and AC sentries. It just handles everything on 10.
I rolled with the Lib Carbine in a few bug missions and it legit felt like an assault rifle. It wasn't as good as many other choices but it was a fun time.
Ah, the fun part of actually enjoying all of the possible loadouta again! Now I have to play more to figure out which ones I love most. Oh, the agony of have to play for hours to learn.which ones I love most.

I can finally say operation buff divers was a success. I love that I can use different loadouts and still do some good damage . This is what I wanted I was tired using meta loadouts to just try to stay alive .

The commando change against fabricators is probably a side effect of changes to the fabricator since they've given it proper health and armor stats.
The impaler retraction change doesn't mean more tentacles, it means less like in the 1st game where they use them to protect it's face when shot at.

My only genuine complaint other than the gas. Limb damage seems to be a huge thing now. I literally had to look up the armor set that protected you from the limb damage. You can burn through stims so quick
Yeah...that's literally the point of that armor. Before, you were far more likely to die before breaking a limb making that armor literally useless
Gas is actually great now. It has a function that flame should have; panic/taking aggro off you. Hunter swarms now get stuck and wander in the cloud, without immediately jumping and getting themselves out of the cloud.

I tested it today and I love it!
When enemies get "confused" by the gas cloud they seem to go berserk and attack each other, very effective and fun to watch.
So the reduced DoT is likely compensated by them attacking each other 👍

Played again with 2 friends. Felt like Day one but with more of everything. Felt great. Did not feel too easy. We were playing on 6 and it was absolutely fun and it felt like fat guns do fat damage and it was needed and there is enough to do with the swarms of hunters. Napalm Orbital is so frickin great.
And the 500! Finally it FEELs Like a fat 500 blast. Eats small to medium Bug outposts with one hit. Absolutely useful and great. Does not feel overpowered. Just right. I love it. Just a fantastic hop in hop off Situation in the Evening.
Can't wait for the 4th Fraction entering the Map.
All this makes me and the others engage more in Fights rather than just sneaking around to avoid everyone.
Maybe great on higher levels, but when ok 6 or 7, i do not want to sneak around. I want to set the whole Map on fire and look at beautiful chaos.
My only complaint with the update is the change to damage we receive(Because your entire body is now the same as your head pre-change) has rendered armor types entirely meaningless as you are equally squishy regardless of Light/Med/Heavy, there is zero reason to wear anything outside of light armor for the stam/movement now. That and the Shield Generator Pack is almost mandatory now, assuming you don't want to run out of respawns fast.
It's rough on bots now. I was practically sleepwalking through 7s, now they're chewing through reinforcements and everybody keeps rage quitting. At least with bugs you can just stay away from them, bot lasers are harder to avoid entirely.
That's cap I can live Railgun explosions and getting horded by bugs with heavy armor
Hmm not at all lilyth, I played the whole day, used different armors and they still feel different… I always use light because I want the speed and regen but use medium and heavy for eradicate etc and it’s not the same…

It stays uninstalled with a negative review until they fix all the damage they caused.

I mean with all of these buffs, I think it's enough. Enemies are weaker which means you need to deal less damage. This wasn't a restoration uppdate, they buffed most things to a point where they are stronger than ever before.

idk if anyone else has noticed yet, but i played a 3 man squad for a rise the flag on level 8 and it was crazy difficult.. stepping away from the flag (even for a moment) pretty much resets the flag. we had 7 titans countless chargers and even more small cannon fodder things... ending the round between 400 and 600 kills per diver

Thermite grenades are my new favorite toy. The eruptor feels great again, everything I've tried so far has been fun. Loving experimenting with new load outs.

@28:23 I stood under a BT and just used ALL my flamethrower tank on it's belly... he went down pretty quick. I was a very happy boy.

From what I can say so far after having a handful of hours in, but not testing everything, the one thing I can say is the damage adjustment that players take is a double-edge sword. While yes, we no longer see frequent oneshot wonder deaths, you'll now see far more frequent limb breaks and over all are 'squishier' to the point it is more normal to have a 2-3 hit death or constantly see hurt limbs. However, the change does seem to make the Sheild backpack seem especially strong now. I didn't see it get taken down anywhere near as often as when I used it some time ago.
Chargers are indeed squishier along with Bile Titans too, and all the little damage changes they made to many primaries makes handling chaff rather easy in pretty much any scenario on the bug side of things. I didn't try any bot missions yet, but of what I did try the buffs are quite noticeable for sure.
I played a little this morning and was very pleasantly surprised. I went from running like 3 primaries to be actually being overwhelmed with choices. I saw people running laser builds, rocket builds, railguns, flamethrowers, basically everything. It was great to see such verity. My only fear is them backtracking the buff because they think it’s too strong. The small amount I played today was the most fun I had in a while with the game.
