The ACC had already internally considered all PAC schools and passed. At that time, none worked to help the ACC survive as a peer Tier 1. I suspect that CALFORD were later invited as preemptive backfill for UNC, CLEMSON & FSU ~and~ to better secure ND.

I enjoy these older vids, and this one was impressively accurate for the most part. Nevertheless, USC/UCLA leaving didn't kill the PAC. Demo/cultural trends killed the PAC as a Tier 1, and arrogance/incompetence killed the PAC as a Tier 2.

And last year you guys blew a 45-30 lead in 7 minutes despite Caleb Williams throwing for 560 yards. See the correlation?
