This is the second time I see someone on youtube get a printer with a feet issue. Initially I suspected it was a packaging issue as that youtuber did not show how the machine was packaged. This is a non issue for me, as I would have fixed the foot myself as well, but there are tons of people out there that do not know to do it, or dont feel they should receive a printer this expensive with a missing foot. I Can confirm mine came flawless, and almost wish you have gotten mine so that this printer shines as it deserves.
Doesn't the CFS have desiccant to "dry" the filament? I've seen other videos where there are covers hidden inside of the CFS underneath the spools. There should be a couple of bags in there. I didn't see you inspect those in your video. Other than that, great video and thank you for it all. You went into a lot more detail than others!
Very well shown ! Congrats on your new K2! I am anxiously awaiting mine to arrive. I have seen many arrive with broken foot screws unfortunately. They make left handed drill bits that sometimes back out the screw while drilling if not then use a screw extractor. I would use a M35 Cobalt drill bit or anything else xtra hard like that. Those hex Screws are very hard most times. It is better to allow the tops of those screws to have some wobble or else your prints will have layer artifacts from all the tests I have seen.
I think a smaller nozzle would allow you to have better tolerances on 0 and .1 and .2 I would imagine that the community will be coming up with a new enclosure with heat and dessicant and a hygrometer for the CFS , Just as they have done for Bambus AFS. It will be a good project for all K2 Owners to build in the future. I think slowing down the prints, and adjusting extraction will help with K2 Stringing on PETG
Yeah a smaller nozzle would give better tolerances and messing around with the setting will also help. Yeah, waiting to see if the community can make the CFS into a dryer as well. Let me know if you know something about it.
I wish I could order it but Creality store does not ship it to my country and Amazon isn't an option yet. Hope Creality goes through on their promise to make K1 series upgrade for the CFS.
Don't blame yourself...this is the second video where I see a problem with a broken foot...seems to me like a problem at the factory assembly..too much a coincidence to not be.
For me it's much quieter than the K1 Max because I can print PLA with the door closed, and there's twice as many fans so they don't have to run as many RPMs.

Thanks. You will love your k2 plus one it's arrive! Yeah I will try to get screw extractor and see if I can take the broken screw out.
If you are planning to use orca slicer, be great if u can test the profile and perhaps do a vid on it? thanks
Yes definitely, I will try to make it work with orcaslicer and will make a video on it.

Once you get it 100% dialed in this will be a beast. I have the K1 Max and this runs faster and quieter. I am impressed so far.
That is very true. The k2 plus is a beast compare to the k1 max.
I wish I could order it but Creality store does not ship it to my country and Amazon isn't an option yet. Hope Creality goes through on their promise to make K1 series upgrade for the CFS.
Yeah, the cfs on the k1 series would be great.

Phewww glad it was not me tilting it. This thing is really heavy.
Not second, 5th time maybe. Yes this is package problem.
Screw Extractor set is the name
Ahh thanks.
all i know is if i get mine and the foot is broken, i want a new one lol. Oh man i didn't release it wasn't a dryer as well. thats lame
Yeah it was kinda disappointed that the screw broke and it wasn't a dryer. But still a really nice 3d printer.
alot of k2 has broken feet when it arrives it seems..
That's good to know that it's not just mine.
For me it's much quieter than the K1 Max because I can print PLA with the door closed, and there's twice as many fans so they don't have to run as many RPMs.
Yes that is true, it does run a lot quieter than the k1 max, and the motor are much quieter too.
Bruhh... it's bigger than YOU !!
haha! I know this thing is HUGE! I was able to fit in it's box LOL.
That's why there is no plug on the cfs vs thr ace.. the dryer..
That could be the reason why.
