At 10:38-12:23 make sure the "bed_temp" is "BED_TEMP" or else you'll get an error. This is correct: {% set BED_TEMP = printer.custom_macro.default_bed_temp %}
Yey I'm the first comment!!!, btw I have this idea at 2023 but i stop it at the g code is to hard for the g code for the k1 you use.a 3d model that holdes the bambulab rubber and I stuck on the g code and ya that is all.
It doesn't work on K1 because only the K1 max can move the nozzle further off the build plate. But todays your lucky day! I have written some advanced gcode that lets you use the bambulab ones with any machine. You also can have control over the speed, movement, height, wipe pattern, temperature, position etc and works with a ton of mount options for different setups. It's a free dl on printables called Advanced Nozzle Wiper / Cleaner for Creality K1 MAX / K1 / K1C / K1SE. I had the same issue as Scratch where the brass brushes didn't really do anything but the bambu silicone ones work great!
On my K1 Max, I replaced the probe, and now I no longer have to clean the nozzle-simple as that. Plus, it significantly improved the mesh measurement since Creality’s stock system is garbage.
@@Scratch3DPrintingI’m no longer using Creality’s original mesh leveling system-I replaced it with a 3D Touch and achieved a 0.150 range on the mesh. Plus, I don’t have to worry about the nozzle being clean anymore since the probe handles the sensing instead of the nozzle. The key is to properly adjust the Z offset and do the Axis Tilt Compensation. After that, you’ll get much better results, and the printing starts faster since it no longer does the cleaning and extra movements from the original setup
Since I just want to print stuff, I don't think I'd root mine so this mod will not be on my printer. Good one, but I have other stuff to deal with rn. Good content tho.

Theres a new design online for a 3 vent kobra 3 fan nozzle made for use with the bambu style ceramic heatblock you upgraded to.
ohh, interesting, I would like to check it out.
@@Scratch3DPrinting ill email you the link so you dont have to search for it
Maybe rotating brush horizontally will be better, because after many wipes brush will be full of plastic
Yeah, I'm getting those, but it's very easy to take out the plastic from the brush.

@@PURCELLUA-cam yeah, I think if the code was modified to wipe on the brass back and forth it would be better in cleaning the nozzle.
Congrats on being the first comment. @Axolotlgg

That's good to hear. Also what do you mean by replacing the probe?

@GerardoNQ ohh, that is interesting. If mine ever gets bad, I'll try doing it like that.
I need a k1 max, I only got k1 Idk if it fits on k1...
Yea, many people say it does not work on the k1.
You could have used a grinder to sand the plastic
Down evenly
That's true, but I dont have a grinder.

Thanks, yeah it's not for everyone. Still this is a fun mod to have installed.
Or instead of small hacksaw..use a hot wire it's just plastic.
Just watch out for fumes
That could work. But the brush is small so it would be a bit challenge to have it hold down and do it in one go.
1:29, Don't rush to buy K2. I am 100% sure that in 2-3 months they will have K2-BE, K2-ME, K2-RE, and in six months or a year K3 🫡
So never buy anything cause there's always a newer version coming out? Great logic! 😅
@O-RoD lol, that is pretty true.
There will always be new things coming out.
