In this video you can see me build the Camacho 2 - Cigar Box Guitar
Its a Comission for "Die Bullenschmiede" and a part of the payment was a handmade kitchen knife with one of the most expensive woods as the handle.

51,5cm Scalelength
Pearl and Abalone Dots + Sidedots
Scalloped Bone nut
EMG H4A Humbucker

Tuning AEA (string gauges 36,26&17)
I made a few changes from the last Camacho cigar box guitar build and tried to improve the build!
Feel free to leave comments and ask questions ;-)

Thank you! I love scalloped nuts and I think I will do them on all my build in the future!
I've watched hundreds of cigar box guitar videos and this is absolutely the best looking so far. Awesome job

That is awesome ! Love your work. Do you sell them?
Hey, thank you so much! The cigar box guitars were comissions for customers!
Very cool. I'm a builder as well. You earned a new Sub
Thank you ;)
Just a question : what kind of glue are you using for the frets ? Thanks !
Hey! Im just using regular titebond, sometimes I just hammer them in and put a drop of superglue on the fretends. But using wood glue fills the gaps and makes the whole piece one
@@Meridenoguitars i'll try it.... I'm using some gel superglue and although It's quite efficient, It's also a bit messy.
@@therealjba yes superglue is messy and will always spill everywhere when hammering the frets in. The good thing is that the titebond can be easily wiped off with a wet towel! ;)
