In this video you can see me build the Camacho 2 - Cigar Box Guitar
Its a Comission for "Die Bullenschmiede" and a part of the payment was a handmade kitchen knife with one of the most expensive woods as the handle.

Hey! Im just using regular titebond, sometimes I just hammer them in and put a drop of superglue on the fretends. But using wood glue fills the gaps and makes the whole piece one
@@Meridenoguitars i'll try it.... I'm using some gel superglue and although It's quite efficient, It's also a bit messy.
@@therealjba yes superglue is messy and will always spill everywhere when hammering the frets in. The good thing is that the titebond can be easily wiped off with a wet towel! ;)

@@MeridenoguitarsI do have a question to ask .But I’m in the middle of construction at min once I have final kneck measurements and box comes .I cld do with a little help .frst time doing it SEROUSLY for someone .thnks fantastic work very tidy and meticulous.brings great results .hint taken on board .peace

Yes, it’s a bit heavier than standard, can’t tell how much exactly but still lighter than a non chambered Les Paul :D

Please pardon my confusion, but I didn’t catch what the problem is.
Hey! I drilled through the pickup cavity into the other and forgot about the cables that run between them, so my led circuit didnt work anymore

Finish looks 👌 What was your method of finishing the ziricote? I have used buffalo wax in the past, but looking at different methods right now. Your neck came out super glossy!
Thank you! The neck has more of a satin Type of shine, I oiled it with something thats translated as hardwax-oil and then waxed it with beeswax. In the video you see the neck While the oil is still on before wiping the excess away!

I think you should use the body material and frame it just like you did the neck pocket, maybe do a little between bridge and pickup also! Cheers
Neck wood would look good , i'ts going to be a very nice guitar
Using a contrasting material would look more deliberate and less like a mistake. So my vote would be for the neck wood. Overall it is taking shape nicely so don’t get discouraged.
You’re right, using the darker ziricote is right now my best solution for that, it think that it would actually Look rather cool and not like a mistake! Thanks a lot ;)

Looks beautiful, though I'm curious if the vegetation you're using is fake or real (sorry if I missed you saying which). I've seen many videos showing how resin doesn't seal biological materials from rotting. I'd be concerned how it will look in a few years. Still, at the moment, it looks spectacular. Beautiful work.
Hey! I used real but preserved moss and plants, so theoretically it should stay the same (at least longer than real plants maybe) but time will tell! ;) thanks a lot!

Great work. I think you could have scribed your leaf design freehand to save time with the scalpel. Also a dremel multi tool might come in handy for cutting out the leaves. The LED lights are a brilliant idea. Gracias
