Really enjoyed the video Jeff. I knew what a cigar box guitar is, but that was about all. So I learn something new today. You did an awesome job on it my friend ! When I was around 10 years old my elderly neighbor built fiddles, all work was done with hand tools. He would shape the body with broken flat glass, and I used to watch him for hours. He did a great job and they looked like a store bought violins. Thanks for sharing !
I did sell them, along with custom amps, for many years. I just don't have the time anymore to keep doing it. Thanks for taking a look, I appreciate it!
You did a good job. I use a drumstick as a slide on string bass or guitar.I have a video performance of each on my channel. I like your choice of materials such as the sink strainers.and the oak neck. It sounds good.
Absofreakin awesome! That looks and sounds amazing. I run a Midas 1 sound board at my church. I would love to hear that plugged into a sound system with good subs pushing around 95 to 100 db. I’ll record this coming Sunday and post it and tag you.
Super nice stick n a box! Did you angle the neck? I did on mine, but not quite enough. The strings move around on the bridge, despite having field grooves into it (when you pick aggressively).
You can turn the "biscuit" that the threaded rod is on slightly and get it pretty close. I've built them before with a Gibson style bridge with the adjusters. This one is a little more primitive. It gets the job done though.
Beautifull build guitar 🎸, you can make magic, you play like a real cool musian, blues, comes like the stirings Are alive, sounds awsome, thanks jeff and Jordan for this video i enjoy every moment and the music, thanks from tom your friend now and always say hello to ✌️ the rest of the gang 😊 ♥️ ☀️ 🐯 ✌️ ✌️

Glad you liked it, thank you for taking a look my friend! That's awesome, it takes quite a craftsman to make a good fiddle.

That has some Mojo. Love the Robert Johnson painting.
Thanks for checking it out, I appreciate it!
Edward Phillips does a decent job on Preachin' Blues. That seems fairly easy!
Beautiful build, well done! 👍👍👍

Thanks! Yeah, that would be awesome. It's hard to convey what it really sounds like through UA-cam.
@@RamblinAround were you plugged straight into the amp?
If that was without a pedal I really love it.
@@maddmaxx6730 Yeah, that was straight into the amp and not a very good amp either.
@@RamblinAround dude, it rocked
Great job mate, enjoyed the build
This build made me subscribe somthing like 10-12 years ago..
Thanks, I appreciate you watching. Hoping I find the free time to build some more again at some point.

Good job. I build CBG's. VERY good video. You earned a new Sub
How did you set the intonation with a fixed bridge design ?

Robert died at 27, never do a deal with the devil, he will cheat you.
Wow that neck is so thick 🙊🙊🙊🙊
It's much narrower than a regular guitar, so making the neck thicker makes it fit my hand better.
