    One of the things I don't think was mentioned was VITAMIN D. SO IMPORTANT. Most if not all auto immune diseases are from low vitamin d levels. Get sun and supplement daily. It helped me big time.

      Agreed. I took 12,000 iu’s when I had a cold, together with 8,000 mg sodium ascorbate powder, gone within 2 hours. One of the most important vitamins for our immune system that people just don’t realise.

      I had a severe bout of food poisoning in about 1993 from seafood in Greece on holiday and a parasite that initially caused my leaky gut problem. I was extremely ill for about 6 months and had to go on a vegetarian diet. Over time it got worse with an enormous amount of antibiotics for sinus infections, steroid nasal sprays, antihistamines and then chemical and food allergies from 2001 onwards. I now know that if I don't take action on looking after myself and my gut and autoimmune system, my diet and nutrition, it will flair up, I will lose hair, fall ill and toxins get into my bloodstream. The latest bout in 2015 and 2021 was caused by intruders injecting me in the night. I had unexplained needle marks in my feet, chest and a locked jaw from injected allergies of mould and fungus into my jaw exactly the same as watching Regina Bev Hall on 9 perfect strangers. I thought it was so stupid of someone to copy a TV show and book because they presumed I was Emma Walker's killer. Luckily I have a bolt on my bedroom door now. This bout of allergies injected has caused a huge amount of inflammation over the last year. I have gone back now to the collagen to strengthen my gut, gone back to bone broth and garlic soup to help with antifungal natural ingredients, digestive enzymes, vitamin c, multi vitamin, omega fish oil, vitamin d and magnesium and starting to get back to looking after my health and immune system. Thank you so much Josh for all the free information you give to the public. I really appreciate it.

    • @carolinewhitaker967

      The last time I tried to keep to my immune system protocol, people kept breaking into my flat and poisoning my collagen powder writing on the internet that I was vain trying to stay young, and poisoning my homemade kefir, kombucha grains and protein powder. I was devastated. Hopefully this time, now I have moved, my neighbours and I, who are all frail with autoimmune issues can stay protected and look after each other with tips for diet and nutrition. 🤞

    I have leaky gut due to breast implants. I am starting with getting them out and then healing my gut first! Then a long detox process. I haven’t been diagnosed with any autoimmune disease but I have many symptoms reflecting that.

    • @Leonhart_93

      So it is because chemicals are leaking from them? If so then it's really crazy.

    • @chela9928

      Wait can you elaborate on this? I also got breast implants and they made me feel sicker, worsen my LGS, and overall health. I was diagnosed w LGS back in 2020. I got implants 1 year later . My body is not regonizable, i gained weight and even have loose skin in my abdomen. I blame all this on my implants and gut health.

    • @Jolei33
      @Jolei33 Рік тому

      @@chela9928 Yes!!! My implants made anything and everything worse with my health. I counted 39 symptoms and 7 visits to the ER earlier this year. I had silicone gummy bear for 7 years and over time my body was rejecting them. Symptoms of LGS became unbearable as my whole body became inflamed and swollen. I could no longer eat many foods without an instant inflammatory response. Everyone is different but the day I had my Explant surgery in April my body calmed down. My period returned the very same day (missing for months). I could breathe without tightness in my chest. No more heart palpitations. I had to nurse my GI back to health with healing foods, supplements and intermittent fasting. Aloe juice was also important. Keto for a while too. Within 2 weeks the bloat was gone and I lost 8 lbs of inflammation/water weight. My vision got better and my hair was growing back. My implants were not leaking, I checked them carefully and had an MRI prior to surgery. I believe that over time the body attacks the foreign chemicals and it starts to leach through the implant membrane into the body. Some people don’t have a response to the chemicals but some do. I’m allergic to adhesives and my implants were gel adhesive. All of them contain a multitude of chemicals, heavy metals. I found a fantastic surgeon in a neighboring state willing to do the complete enbloc procedure as all surgeons in my state refused. Why would I leave scar tissue in my breasts full of chemicals and heavy metals? I am 98% healed of all my ailments. Joints are strong again and I’m running 3-5 miles. If you feel your implants shifted your body…the only way to know is to get them out. Wishing you a speedy recovery ❤️‍🩹

      The low FODDMAP diet(elimation then reintroduction slowly) is pretty successful at healing the gut. One of the issues here with plant based is that it is high in saponin, lectins and phytates. All three have negative impacts on gut health and digestion. If you are really committed to it I think there might be some work arounds and creative solutions.

    • @ChristineNavarroTV
      @ChristineNavarroTV 2 роки тому +4

      I agree with you, but I also think there’s something to the cold/ dampness for some, or even many people experiencing similar issues. For instance, in ayuerveda, I believe I’m a Vata-Kapha. Kapha already predisposes those qualities…and a BIG, additionally, I’m suspecting there are plenty of people not eating according to seasons, balancing hot/ cold elements, where you need more heat in colder months, vs lighter more raw foods (particularly fruits) in hot months. Additionally, most of us live a very domesticated lifestyle, where we experience extreme comfort, particularly with environmental temperature that doesn’t encourage heat in the body, and we may often eat cold, previously cooked food that’s been sitting in the fridge, and dead, lifeless snacky “foods” containing highly acidic processed sugars (huge proponent of gut dysbiosis & inflammation) paired with toxic, rancid cooking oils/ fats, preservatives and chemicals, etc., instead of kicking in that digestive fire with hot soups and broths, AND a big one for me, long bouts of RAW VEGANISM/ JUICING/ SMOOTHIES. I am a huge proponent of these routes, however if you have a cold/ damp digestive system, these may encourage it further, leading to fungus, etc. I’ve been trying so hard to be clean, but I would torment myself for not having the “discipline” to stick with it very often (I’ve had very successful bouts, but experienced this constant up & down cycle, particularly with the lockdowns and the pandemic circumstances). I’m now realizing, I’ve kept on craving eating hot food, and would constantly cave in after flushing out my system and juicing and totally screw it up over and over again. Discernment is a constant and ongoing process. I thrive best in the summer to perform these raw expeditions and detoxes. Seasonally/ cyclically, it makes sense. Societally, it can be challenging, especially after being locked up in colder places (like Chicago where I’m originally from) and the city busting out the best festivals and tempting foods. Saunas usage and working out to the point of really heating your body well for an extended period of time, help significantly. But for me, the sinking in temps after that, open up craving sensations for richer foods. So I think consuming something hot, whether vegetable broth, hot butternut squash soup, or tea in those instances, will help during colder months, then if you have additional work like for losing excess fat and water retention, kick it in higher gear when the summer really helps facilitate it. I’m currently in Southern California, and I still experience this issue. When I lived in Hawaii, I was by far my healthiest and most stunning, magnetic, and electric in my energy. Use the knowledge of temperature, seasons, sunlight, and cycles (how to eat during certain periods of the day), and I think this will significantly empower you and balance your body and mind, including helping with alleviating stress and encouraging energy. Think about it - if you have a cold/ damp disposition, you may feel tired, lethargic, depressive, while living a relatively sedentary life…there’s that saying of getting a fire lit up your ass. You ain’t feeling those anymore. 😁 Even emotionally, inspiration often has or invokes a quality of fire and action. These elements are universal, and obvious when examined/ indicated. Since we’ve been so domesticated, we have to consciously be aware of these factors and cycles, and consciously implement them. If you think about it, it’s very empowering once we are aware of these previously unconscious internal reactions taking place inside our bodies and psychologically, rather than just being automated by nature. I love nature 100%, but it’s even more empowering when we can consciously choose and adjust our environmental circumstances, rather than simply be automated/ unaware victims to environmental triggers.

      I mean no judgement or negativity towards you, I just wanted to start with that, bc I admire vegans for their philosophy and dedication to it! However, veganism isn't entirely healthy for the human body. So this will likely not be a good long term solution for you. It's not even NEARLY as bad as the SAD or SUK diets, but it will come with it's major draw backs.

      Ann, I have this too. I would get a food sensitivity test done, cut out those foods for a period of time to heal this. I would seek out a wholistic doctor to help guide you through this process. Usually it can be healed in a couple of months.
