I cannot thank you enooough!!!! I've had horrible indigestion. Ongoing stomach pain, panic attacks, anxiety, insomnia, low blood pressure, close to fainting, numb extremities, blurry vision, senses failing, weight loss, back pain, head pressure. But I'm not kidding, doing my own research listening to all of your videos have healed about 80% of my issues so far, and still in progress. If you're having these issues, do everything that they say in their videos. They all work. I did a cup of warm chicken stock morning and afternoon, a peppermint oil rub on your stomach at night, turmeric drinks, do everything that helps you relax, hot showers, long walks. Stress free everything. I cut out fast food, fried foods, and sweets (sometimes I eat something sweet). Do all of this and you WILL get better
@@candicedavis2486 hi, I made it into this drink "golden milk" . Which I used a powdered turmeric as one of the ingredients. Look up a video on Golden Milk if you haven't yet heard of it. It has really great health benefits. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys ! I had a teacher , when I was only 10 and he said, to chew food 50 times and even so I had lots of problems with intolerance to food and constipation since I was born ! and eating to many sweets , I believe the chewing saved me a lot of trouble !
My Grandmother used to drive me crazy with how many times she chewed her food .It seems a school teacher taught her the importance of eating slowly and chewing her food up She would still be eating her salad while Grandaddy was ready for dessert. Grandaddy live to be 82 Grandma lived to be 103 .
75 times to chew!! I have had the most miserable digestion issues, my aunt too. This video has helped us tremendously. I made soup and got so sick but after watching this video, my next bowl, same soup but chew chew chew and guess what? No discomfort. I told my aunt and she feels much better too. Thanks so much to both of you.
Ive been a vegan for 40 yrs but ive been drinking bone broth (corpse juice) to some people but im getting sick from grief & unavoidable stress so i felt a huge desire to drink this broth & im know its helping,I even lost hair but it grew back

My mom is Chinese and when I am sick, she said to eat or drink warm foods and to avoid cold drinks or food and I always bounce from my illness with this principle. Bone broth is good and helps the gut. Thanks for this video.
Wow! This is seriously such an answer to prayer as I've been struggling with some gut issues and have been on a search for a comprehensive solution. I was just typing on youtube hoping to find a resource that is reliable and wholesome, then half way through watching your video it turns out you guys have a faith and refer to the Scripture for restoring health. This is revolutionary and totally God's intention! Thank you for all that you're doing and sharing, may God continue to bless and expand your work. Can't wait to tell my friends about you guys!!
I did try chewing my food 30 times it wasn't enough, I'm sorry. But chewing it 💯 times was much better. Thanks to both of you I have learned a lot . Maybe I will have less in digestion.
It depends on what you're eating. Let the feel of the food in your mouth be final test. Some foods can be broken down to "cream" in much less chewing than others. I find steak and other cuts of meat require much more chewing to mechanically break it down into small pieces. Other foods are fairly creamy to begin with.
I like these guys! Very informative, without the "fluff". The majority of these videos that are put out by these so called experts use a lot of 'fluff' words, but tell us nothing. These guys get specific, without touting certain brands. That's a real plus for me! I've learned more from this video about gut issues than I've learned from the last 20 videos I've watched just trying to get some 'real' answers. Great job guys! I also think as consumers we have to be pro-active, and take the time to read labels, and check the ingredients. No matter what we hear about a product, and how it's "guaranteed" to work, or your "money back", it really doesn't mean a thing, because it's all a sales pitch. Even some of the products that are recommended by our own doctors are bad for us, and have a ton of additives, and preservatives. The closer to "all natural" you can get, the better. For instance; Aloe Vera is fantastic for so many things, and especially for skin issues. But if you go out and buy it, more than likely it will have other ingredients added to preserve it. Or even if you get 100% Aloe Vera gel in a health food store, or GNC, etc, it will cost you an arm, and a leg. So you're better off getting a healthy plant, nurturing it, and you'll always have it when you need it. Just break off a leaf, and the gel inside is pure, and natural, and better than any product you'll pay 20 times the amount for in a store. After going through a horrendous journey from a simple spider bite 10 months ago, that eventually led to the break down of almost my entire body, including my skin, I've learned so much this past year. The bottom line is; the good earth has everything we need to keep our bodies healthy, and even heal us of many diseases. We just have to do be very pro-active, and do our own research! As much as I respect the medical profession, I've learned the hard way that they're wrong....A LOT! At least 50% of the time. So always, always research everything they tell you, and get a second, or third opinion if you have to. But.... I've had 8 different doctors give me 8 different opinions, so....? When I was a kid, I remember hearing my Dad say several times that "They call it the PRACTICE of medicine for a reason". I didn't understand what he meant then, but I certainly do now!
If you have gut issues..Fermented foods increase histamine levels which increases irratiballity. Single strain probiotics should be #1 ,homemade bone broth #2 l glutamine/slippery elm #3
I absolutely love your channel.I've got chronic psoriasis which flares up in the autumn/winter and also due to anxiety and stress but after watching your videos it's confirmed what I knew, excuse the pun, in my gut. That is I needed to look at the root cause which I think could be leaky gut. There is the other aspect i.e meditation and my emotional health.I have been taking lots of healthy things in my diet coconut milk, ginger, turmeric and black pepper, oats with nuts and seeds. The list is endless but I think I need to up the anti and buy decent quality turmeric and ginger tablets (not sure if I can buy them together or that's a good idea),and put a sign up on my fridge of what I need to eat daily.Thank you so,so much for clear, useful content. You guys are amazing!
You guys are awesome! I have been dealing with gut issues for so long now and it’s really impacted my life. I have been trying everything to find the root cause with no luck but luckily i found ur video. You are lifesavers! I started chewing instead of eating and immediately felt a 180 degree change. It’s almost unbelievable that something so simple could make such a huge change but it did, immediately. I appreciate you guys so much - thank you thank you thank you thank you.
I drink bone broth to soothe/heal my stomach, which I heard from Josh several years ago. I had forgotten about it until recently when I started having a lot of trouble with digestion. It has seemed every step of digestion had problems, so I'm back to step one. I also make bone broth and then put peppers, zucchini, broccoli-- all the veggies I don't like- in the broth and cook 'til done, maybe a little longer. Veggies cooked this way always mix their flavors so that I don't mind eating them!! (But I'm not eating all the veggies right now.) AND... Yeah, Josh, watch talking about your mom! We didn't know the crap we were being sold was bad!♥️🙏🏻✌
omg, you are the author of The Maker's Diet?!! I read the book years ago and to this day, I still recommend your book to people. I have never personally suffered from a serious illness or had serious digestive issues, however, I highly value your book and it's message. Furthermore, congratulations on your amazing recovery!
I know some say why give a certain number to count before swallowing the chewed food, but for some reason that resonated with me. For the first time I understand the reason for thoroughly chewing my food. I happen to have been eating a green salad with my own salad dressing while watching this and I started counting. I eventually went beyond 30 times, and it did start to taste a little sweet. :) Mono meals make sense too. I really appreciate both Dr. Josh Axe and Jordan Rubin. Thank you for another great informative video.
I’ve been really stressed out. Thank you for the reminders. I’ve been really, good the past few years about eating healthily and using many of these solutions you talk about. Recently I’ve been having some issues and I believe that it relates directly back to not chewing properly. Makes perfect sense to me. Thanks for the reminders.
It's so true about bone broth. I had parasites and I didn't know it. I felt so ill and miserable and bone broth was the only thing that would give me life and wouldn't hurt my stomach. Everything else gave me great pain including salads...
Thanks. You guys rock! I keep away from cow dairy personally so I'm not sure If I can agree with cottage cheese from my experience and other things I've read, but everything else on your list I can attest to as WORKING including the emotional health component.
Wow thanks for this video! I tried your chewing suggestion. I felt better in one day! Chewing 50 times before swallowing is a total game changer. Thank you!
Although i do like Josh Axe , i feel he cares way to much about making money even at the expense of psuedo-science , for example exogenus ketones ... !
Holy cow. I clicked on this video, because I recognized Jordan Rubin. Rubin is awesome. I have one of his books... Good to see him again. I will look for more videos of his. :-D
I can always come back to you guys and pick up where I left off. Thank you for making this information public for the world! It is needed. Especially your last tip relating to emotional well-being. So relatable to my gut health issues. I’ve applied this information many times and I swear by bone broth thanks to dr.axe! Guys, another thing that immediately clicked was when you said to NOT consume high amounts of juices or kombuchas or cold drinks if your gut is irritated. This does make it more stressed! I urge you to try bone broth instead! It helps the healing process so much faster then you can get on to slowly introducing new things. This worked for me and continues to as I have chronic gut nuisances :)
If you liked this video, you may also want to know how to tell if your gut is healthy. The indicators are: colon transit time of 12-24 hours, type 4 stool on the Bristol stool chart, not having diarrhea or constipation, having 1-3 bowel movements per day, and light-dark brown colored stools!
One night I was so fed up with not knowing what diet to eat to help my gastroparesis and heal my gut...vegan? Raw vegan? Paleo? Pegan? AIP? I was SOOOO frustrated, so as a devout Christian I prayed a lot, downloaded Jordan's book from Amazon and never looked back! I haven't gone a day without throwing up in so long, but his healing protocol really helped me and did it in a way that made sense with my religious views. Why would God tell us to eat animals but then make them poisonous to us as vegans claim? Or why would the Israelites consume manna in the wilderness if it is damaging to the gut? Now I consume TONS of sauerkraut, kombucha, raw milk, raw kefir, yogurt, pasture raised meats and eggs, grass fed organic everything, organic produce, etc. Love the work you two have done and it is especially helpful because it aligns with my religious views!
WAY OF KAY I have something wrong with my digestive system. had to go to the er because the pain was so bad but it was because I was full of gas and bloated so bad the only way I can explain what it felt like was that I had a inner tube under my rib cage and it was being inflated with air and it wasn't stopping. they kept me for a couple days after doing a CT scan and said I had ilius but he didn't understand why my electrolytes wasn't all over the place. but my white blood cells weren't normal either. but I know what your talking about of not being able to eat. it don't matter what I eat I don't feel good regarless. so I figured I would try juicing but on here they really don't suggest it but I need to loose weight. and the weird thing is I don't loose weight I keep gaining weight. I gained like 15 pounds in 2 weeks and hardly ate anything. and when I finally got to see the GI dr, which took me 2 months after getting out of the hospital he had the nerve to say I had nothing wrong with my gut because I drank the white chalky stuff and I passed it. but I know how I feel and have felt this way since April of 2015 and I'm so tired of not only feeling bad but not being scared to eat because I know what will happen. but I also want to say and let you know that I prayed to god many many times and if it wasn't for him I don't know what I would do. so I'm glad that I read your story and I'm going to try the bone broth and chewing my food many many times. Thank you again and god bless. 😊
Kim Sikorski Yes keep on praying! And tell your friends and family about your struggle so they can pray for you too! People from my church keep asking how I'm doing and told me they've been praying for me! Well it worked 'cause I have so many answers doctor couldn't give me. Keep up the research on healthy gut microbiome and eat God's foods! Also with the weight gain, I completely understand! That to me screams weight is more than just calories, it's about the status of the bugs in your gut! People of a healthy weight have a good ratio of bugs, while people who are overweight have less diversity of bugs, especially some of the really good ones! You CAN get these tested with a stool sample online or something. I didn't do that, I just listened to my body. I juiced for a while to help alkalize my body because I couldn't keep leafy greens down. BUT now I can so I don't juice anymore, but if I were to I would add 2-3 apples, 1/2 head of celery, 1 lemon, 1 3" chunk of ginger, 2 handfuls of dandelion greens, 2 handfuls kale, 1 bunch parsley, and that's it! It's very detoxifying for your liver from all the bitter herbs! I used to make it every day and sip on it throughout the morning. I think eventually you want to not juice because the fiber in those fruits and veggies are good for feeding the GOOD bugs in your gut. Sugar feeds the BAD bugs. Keep doing your research, I like empoweredsustanance.com, draxe.com, mark hyman's work, and I follow the Weston A Price diet/ lifestyle (legit I can eat waffles made with pasture raised eggs, raw whole milk, and sprouted spelt flour with NO problem! and I pour syrup on it now). I now have energy to go to the gym (lifting weights and HIIT workouts are best for your gut bugs and balancing the microbiome, running long distance can create further dysbiosis, so I suggest if you want to do cardio, just walk or only jog for 20 minutes or so 3-4 times a week. I find walking incline is better though since you strengthen your glutes and hamstrings. I am a personal trainer and find females think they need cardio to lose fat but often get "skinny fat" doing this and respond WAY better to strength and resistance exercises. Please message me if you have any more question! I think God sort of blessed me with the mess I was in for years of stomach problems to help people out and re-find God made food!
WAY OF KAY Thank you for getting back with me so quickly. I'm going to try the juice that you suggested but have no clue where to get dandelions because it is cold here in ohio. And we really don't have any health food stores like most you tubers that I have watched on here. But I'm going to try juicing for one of my meals and try chewing my food a lot more. I think I'm going to have to write it on posits and put them everywhere to remind me to chew chew chew. Lol. I have watched so many different kinds of diets and honestly I don't know what is the right one. To be honest I basically have done the one where you eat one to two times a day then have nothing for 16 hours, that is how I have always ate. And I'm over weight. Years ago I tried eating 5 to 6 smaller meals a day but I also took something to help me lose weight and I actually did. I walked everyday and every night and when I took my measurements after a week I lost aprox 6 inches. I thought that was pretty good. Then in 2011 I tried adipex and lost aprox 50 pounds, I wasn't at my goal weight but I looked so much better but actually hurt more in my joints and my back where I have herniated disc which made no since at all. But if I could get back down to 150 I would be very happy. But I kept that weight off until April of 2015 when all of these stomach problems started. I haven't been on a scale in over 3 months because I'm scared. The last time I weighed my self I was up to 180 and it's really sad that thr clothes that would fall off of me at 150 are tight now. It just saddens me to no end and I feel so bad about the way I look and feel. But I'm hoping to change that around and if I can get my gut to quit causing so much pain then I will be able to do more as when it comes to exercise. I have a question for you, when they talk bone broth do you actually have to buy bones and boil them or can you just buy like chicken broth or beef broth in a container? I don't know much about any of that stuff so anything will help. Thank you and god bless. 😊
Hey Kim, I can totally understand where you are coming from. It is hard to focus on things that really matter when you're worried about your health. The number one tip I have is to pray. Ask God for guidance and strength so that you can work more on glorifying Him and worry less about how to keep food down or anything like that. Secondly, focus on the POSITIVES! Every morning I write down or say out loud 5 things I am thankful for or 5 things I am happy with about myself. The mind really is a powerful thing when it comes to physical health! As for the bone broth, you can buy it sometimes frozen at certain grocery stores, but probably more like health food shops. You can also boil bones, yes, that's how you get the collagen. The broths in boxes in stores aren't nearly as nutritious as the collagen rich broths made from bones. I recommend either ordering a bone broth online if you can't find a frozen one and aren't ready to make it with bones, or ordering Dr. Axe's bone broth powder. As far as not knowing how or what to eat, the MOST important thing is to listen to YOUR body! If fasting 16 hours a day and eating 2-3 meals within an 8 hour window is comfortable for you and you aren't constantly thinking about food, great! But if you wake up hungry but also like a snack right before bed, don't feel like you have to fit into the intermittent fasting routine! Sure, it is great for your gut to give it a break from constantly digesting, but maybe for you that could look more like eating a meal at 9 am, then again at 1, and then again at 5, with a snack around 8. Ideally, if nothing else as far as fasting goes, you should aim to leave 12-13 hours after your last meal before you "break your fast." This is adequate time to give your gut a rest without stressing your adrenals (us females tend to experience much more adrenal fatigue than men, and it shows itself in blood sugar issues and abdominal fat). So yeah, listen to YOUR body. If you think you want to still fast in the morning, try bone broth or a juice to get you until lunch! What worked for me was doing bulletproof coffee in the morning and then eating 2-3 meals, high in fat, veggies, and protein. Eventually I was able to add in more starchy foods, but for a few months I couldn't tolerate any carbs really. The key is realizing this isn't forever, God can heal, and if you try to work with Him and what He is trying to tell you, whether it's that you're too focussed on weight or food and not enough on Him, or if He's trying to let you know you're going too fast in life or you need to let go of something and that's a metaphor for why you can't lose weight, etc. He knows, and He works in ways we don't know. That is why we need to trust in Him and really pray about the things we are experiencing, because we can't do it alone! The world tells us we need to look a certain way or eat a certain way. The truth is, we need to listen to the Bible first. He gave us principles of foods to eat, He told us not to be gluttonous, to not be anxious, and to honor our body as a temple. These are all things I realized I was not doing even as a devout Christian. Since realizing how off track I was from where I should be in my walk of faith, I have made a full recovery and don't feel the massive inflammation I once felt!
Thanks for this! One thing that I would add to the list is also "rest & digest". So having a moment to pause after eating without rushing to work/exercise etc. Gentle walking is a different story of course and might help (Shatapawali, 100 steps after dinner).
Since he made it a contest, 30 was more than enough for me. 50 is great, in sure, but why have a number... Just chew until its no longer a chunk of solid food.
I did a course, where I chewed rice until it became sweet for 10 days with 300-500 chews per mouthful. If you chew that well, it does take time, but absorption chat skyrockets, so you need less food!
Determined to lose exactly what happening to me right now!! Still waiting for my blood and stool test results. I am hoping for yours and mine's health to getting better...
geepeeone How are you feeling? For me belching under control but still pain, RN friend said bottled up gas, God willing He will touch us both and heal us.
I have exactly every single health issue associated with leaky gut imaginable . I don't have insurance to go to a doctor. Its 4:30am and I woke up with numb arm and hand..brain fog..palpitations..rumbling in belly..pain near liver and dudondem..sinus pressure ..constipation is always present. I took a blood pressure pill and a low dose because with all that I woke up with I figured I better try and ward off heart attack and stroke..even though I know the losartan and asprin do more harm then good . right eye lid is twitching . Burping as well with bloated belly. I made carrot and apple juice yesterday ..only drank that and a little bone broth and bitter teas all day..the more I do to get myself and my gut healthy the worse I feel. Have been to hospital twice this year for these symptoms only to be sent home with a dose of mylanta and proton pump . I'm just so afraid I'm about to croke because I cannot heal myself and my gut. Also just found out after reading through hospital records that I have mild scattered divertculosis that the hospital did not tell me I had ..even after I told them my brother has it and after they took CT of belly and pelvic area. So I'm really at a loss. I want to go to hospital right now but I feel I won't get treated properly 😢
Hi there! My husband use to have almost the same symptoms, he was diagnosed with Chron's disease. We were helped by a lady with similar symptoms who gave us a book written by Jordan Rubin called Restoring your Digestive Health. We followed the book and my husband is without symptoms for the last 10 years ,thanks God!!Hope this helps. 💖
@@mayacamacho910 thanks so much for the info. Wow your episode on gut health was absolutely amazing as are all the others but this has been an issue for me for many years. I just started rebounding for 20min each day and what a difference. Thank you for all your great advice.....I really enjoy all your episodes but especially this one. 😊
Wow thank you to both of you, I tried chewing and chewing but I’m so dang hungry I just want to chew and pass it to satisfy my hunger quickly, but I understand the reason behind chewing. I’m getting hungry just listening to all the foods you guys are mentioning. I still struggle with gastritis.
Thanks for sharing! Did you know that nutrition deficiencies can cause anxiety? For example, low vitamin D. You may not get enough from the sun, so you can go on a sunny vacation, buy a sun lamp, or supplement in the winter with 2000 IU/day! If you choose to supplement, just make sure you check with your dietitian/healthcare provider to make sure it's safe for you!
Great info once again! I love Bone Broth and didn't think I would when I first heard about it! It's so soothing like Jordan stated and my nails are stronger than ever....forget those chemical laden nail polishes that harden your nails! One becomes so anti-chemicals when they finally embrace this way of living, eating and drinking! Keep these fabulous videos coming, guys!!
I am coming up on 12 weeks pregnant with baby number five and I've been diagnosed with Hyperemesis Gravidarum 😔 I already have IBS and Reflux issues so this has been a complete nightmare. My gut is a mess!! I have ordered many of the Ancient Nutrition supplements and will be starting them, but this video has been extremely helpful ❤
I'm old enough to have made mud pies in the backyard in my youth - even tasted some of them, lol, but have had gut issues since I can remember. I've included all of the above, with little improvement.
Excellent video. I like how balanced and light-hearted you both are. What you suggest and prescribe is very doable and nothing too extreme or overwhelming. In fact, a lot of your suggestions are actually enjoyable and easy to apply. It would be nice to get a list of recommended brands and supplements. Like what olives do you eat, what brand of kombucha, what brand of bone broth, etc. especially for many of us who don't have the time to make our own. I know you both sell a lot of your own products but do you recommend others?
Love dr Axe he say read scripture people! Follow his advice please. without Jesus in our lives and relationship with God it doesnt matter how healthy you eat
If you found this video helpful, you may also want to know some mistakes people may make in trying to fix gut health! They include: adding a probiotic to help with excessive gas and bloating (that's just one piece of the puzzle), eliminating a food for 4 days and expecting it solve the issue (will take at least 2 weeks), and not thinking about root causes!
Omg, bone broth is amazing! I got some paleo ones the other day and I feel so light. Love it and want to make my own. Also, love fermented food. I love miso and kambouca
If it’s homemade, it’s delicious. Make chicken soup with lots of thighs, wings and backs. You’ll get a nice broth out of that. Maybe just concentrate on doing chicken soups with little water but lots of bones and little meat as possible.
Maybe you could start out with some meat broth. I use either organic grass fed beef shank or ox tails. Just add water, some salt, slow boil overnight or till the meat falls apart. I hope it helps.
I have a suggestion. Instead of a rebounder, since many aging women have osteopenia or osteoporosis, doing your stretches on a home vibrational platform, anyone, in any shape can do!
When I was little my mom gave us buttered toast and hot black tea with milk and sugar. We were sure to dip the toast into the tea. Amazing for the stomach. And throat.
I just made Brazil nut and blueberry milk. How much should I drink. I’ve been trying to get relief for my thyroid issues for over 20 years. I even had it removed and he tells me afterwards that it was probably a too aggressive approach. So I’m trying to catch up. You have supplied me with more knowledge than any of the doctors I’ve seen. Thank you.
I have crohn's and i'm suffering from pain bloating and constipation most of the time ..and wn i have diarrhea not more than 3 time per day as max. Level .. i need to get rid of the food and gases in my gut
Kombucha was like acid in my bladder. Bladder "bled", took 5 months to recover. Had drank less than 1 bottle over a few days. Urologist thought it might have been the bacteria that attacked the bladder, but unsure ...maybe strong carbonation. Never drank again.

I made soup and got so sick but after watching this video, my next bowl, same soup but chew chew chew and guess what? No discomfort. I told my aunt and she feels much better too. Thanks so much to both of you.
so you eat one soup all day?
Ive been a vegan for 40 yrs but ive been drinking bone broth (corpse juice) to some people but im getting sick from grief & unavoidable stress so i felt a huge desire to drink this broth & im know its helping,I even lost hair but it grew back
Hi there what's your recipe for broth ?
Are you still feeling better ?
dr axe is the best!! he has gotten me on track to healing my leaky gut and getting to good health-- great health!
If you liked this video, you may also be interested in knowing the indicators of a healthy gut! They include: colon transit time of 12-24 hours, type 4 stool on the Bristol stool chart, not having diarrhea or constipation, having 1-3 bowel movements per day, and light-dark brown colored stools!
Same here..
Don’t forget Colostrum, DGL, Aloe Vera, L-Glutamine and intermittent fasting!
I'm so grateful for you guys. You are both wonderful human beings.
If you have gut issues..Fermented foods increase histamine levels which increases irratiballity. Single strain probiotics should be #1 ,homemade bone broth #2 l glutamine/slippery elm #3
Scott Gabelman Could you please tell me what strain of probiotics should I take. I've sebohhreic dermatitis.
Who would give these guys thumbs down?? These guys are great love them! Wisdom
wow what an inspiring story, everybody seems to have THE cure for all sorts of things BUT you found the right solution FOR YOUR UNIQUE ISSUE
Excellent combined expertise with Dr. Axe and Gordon, really good for someone of my age 76.
Mary Nordseth what about for mine 16
juicy tots ya got mary
I drink bone broth to soothe/heal my stomach, which I heard from Josh several years ago. I had forgotten about it until recently when I started having a lot of trouble with digestion. It has seemed every step of digestion had problems, so I'm back to step one.
I also make bone broth and then put peppers, zucchini, broccoli-- all the veggies I don't like- in the broth and cook 'til done, maybe a little longer. Veggies cooked this way always mix their flavors so that I don't mind eating them!! (But I'm not eating all the veggies right now.)
AND...
Thank you Dr. Josh Axe and Dr. Jordan Rubin for this informative Video.
The late Mahatma Gandhi said many years ago : 'Chew your drink and drink your food'. Good tips, thank you both!
Flaxseed in what it is?Please let me know
And mono meals please can you answer to the point thank for the lovely night in c.t
He miss that, he don't have teeth.. That is why. 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for another great informative video.
i see 90% of all watched videos contains Bone Broth haha iam the only one recognizing this haha
Itvwas not the food but parasits mowing 🥴
Thank you!
God bless you both.
I love how real you are about real life
Thank you for the positive feedback!
Dr. Axe this video is a treasure. Thank you very much. God bless you.
I appreciate how they work together. Thank you leaders.
WAY OF KAY want to say thank you.😊
Thanks for this! One thing that I would add to the list is also "rest & digest". So having a moment to pause after eating without rushing to work/exercise etc. Gentle walking is a different story of course and might help (Shatapawali, 100 steps after dinner).
We used ginger for my dad when he's going thru chemo. It helped his nausea!
I buy natural sauerkraut imported from Germany. Most American sauerkraut is just cabbage leaves soaked with synthetically processed vinegar.
Great video and information. I absolutely love your channel. I’m going to share this video with friends and family. Thank you both.😊
Thank You Dr. Axe and Jordan so Much! This free informative video on Gut Health is the Best I've ever heard on UA-cam. God Bless! ~;~
You have forgot one important thing! Stomach acid! :)
Since he made it a contest, 30 was more than enough for me. 50 is great, in sure, but why have a number... Just chew until its no longer a chunk of solid food.
FirstTenor76 Yes its ridiculous to request someone to chew 30 to 50 times for each mouthful. Id be finished each meal in an hour or more.
I think he was trying to recondition u. Get u into the practice in other words.
I did a course, where I chewed rice until it became sweet for 10 days with 300-500 chews per mouthful. If you chew that well, it does take time, but absorption chat skyrockets, so you need less food!
@@SuperEddie0228 yes, an hour is a reasonable amount of time to eat a small meal.
I really needed this, wow I am almost 40 and have been having problems with belching a lot, upper gut pain and heaviness. Thank you for this info

Since I wrote the reply I was going over my records again and saw that they said I also have a small hiatal hernia ..which the CT was done in Feb so between the two in sure they're way worse..my thing is they didn't tell me anything..that's crazy.but any who im going to look into chrones again and the book you mentioned. Thanks again💕👍
Fast for as long as you can, the longer you fasr the more your body will heal... talking days even weeks not just a couple of hours

chewing gum ? really how ?

Wow your episode on gut health was absolutely amazing as are all the others but this has been an issue for me for many years. I just started rebounding for 20min each day and what a difference. Thank you for all your great advice.....I really enjoy all your episodes but especially this one. 😊
Wow thank you to both of you, I tried chewing and chewing but I’m so dang hungry I just want to chew and pass it to satisfy my hunger quickly, but I understand the reason behind chewing. I’m getting hungry just listening to all the foods you guys are mentioning. I still struggle with gastritis.
Yay to biblically inspired eating🙌🏾
I'm old enough to have made mud pies in the backyard in my youth - even tasted some of them, lol, but have had gut issues since I can remember. I've included all of the above, with little improvement.
Very clear and practical info that can be applied easily. I really enjoy the style of presentation!

If you found this video helpful, you may also want to know some mistakes people may make in trying to fix gut health! They include: adding a probiotic to help with excessive gas and bloating (that's just one piece of the puzzle), eliminating a food for 4 days and expecting it solve the issue (will take at least 2 weeks), and not thinking about root causes!
My husband uses peppermint oil when he has diverticulitis problems. I use ginger and green tea for IBS-C

Try chicken broth or veggie broth
If it’s homemade, it’s delicious. Make chicken soup with lots of thighs, wings and backs. You’ll get a nice broth out of that.
Maybe just concentrate on doing chicken soups with little water but lots of bones and little meat as possible.
Maybe you could start out with some meat broth. I use either organic grass fed beef shank or ox tails. Just add water, some salt, slow boil overnight or till the meat falls apart. I hope it helps.
Thanks guys good information, I just have a papaya flaxseed bone broth and greens smoothie every morning, I feel great

Thank you.

Big point ; Chewing the food.
Kombucha was like acid in my bladder. Bladder "bled", took 5 months to recover. Had drank less than 1 bottle over a few days. Urologist thought it might have been the bacteria that attacked the bladder, but unsure ...maybe strong carbonation. Never drank again.
When I drank kombucha, I would get a lot of energy. It was crazy. I stopped because of sugar content.
Thank you so much!
