I’m on my first play through - Speech and Lockpick and Hacking maxed out. I’m pretty much committed to NCR and am reviled by Powder Gangers and The Legion. Good move or bad? I found the 100 Lockpick bunker where BOS is hiding out but they want to take EDE from me. What to do???
I would also recommend doing the Brotherhood’s quests so you can unlock power armor training. You can choose to destroy them later or even ally them to the NCR.

If you like Energy Weapons then the Brotherhood’s quests will lead you to some pretty good weapons if you keep an eye out. Also tips for an NCR playthrough: Keep Elder McNamara in charge. Don’t do the subplot to replace him. Also once you get Power Armor training don’t wear BoS faction armor around NCR until they are officially allied. They are set as enemy factions at start of game.
