    Maybe you can use sandpaper on the back to create texture for the glue to stick.

    Would like for you to tell us more about how to learn the colors when print n shrink these. How much lower does the color need to print out ect

    • @nuffypuffy
      @nuffypuffy  Рік тому +1

      It's really just experimentation and lots of research. Some printers might print darker than it should be. So, you need have a few extras shrink sheets for testing. I'll make a video about this to explain more :)

      Canon MB5170 Inkjet Printer. This printer is massive. Mainly for office use. But I suggest you search for printers that can take in papers that are thicker than 300gsm. I hope this helps :)

    I tried this method last night and when I put the mod podge dimensional magic on it caused the colors to bleed. Any tips on how to prevent this?

    • @nuffypuffy
      @nuffypuffy  Рік тому

      Maybe you could try to use protective spray, let it dry, and then add the mod podge. I've tried dimensions magic and I didn't like it.

    Did you use the white shrink film? And also have you tried printing on the transluscent kind?

    • @nuffypuffy
      @nuffypuffy  Рік тому +1

      I have used both but I prefer the white one. For the translucent one, I had to paint the back part. It works better as a keychain not for pins and magnets.

    • @setsu_u

      @@nuffypuffy thank you! This is exactly what I worry about the transluscent one as the color might not come out solid like the one in the white shrink film

    Is it okay if I just dry it out under the sun? and not using the uv light

    • @nuffypuffy
      @nuffypuffy  Рік тому

      Of course you can! I'd prefer natural UV aka the SUN. Sometimes, mine turned out super sticky when I use the UV lamp. Maybe coz it didn't go long enough or my UV resin is not up to quality.

      I used a printable shrink plastic, it depends on your country, I got mine online in Singapore, the link is in my description.
      If you don’t have a printer, you can just draw and cut it, make sure to leave some space to punch a hole if you want to make it into a keychain. I hope this helps.

      If you are using UV resin, put a layer first then add another layer just for the magnet and make sure you hold the magnet while using the UV light, otherwise it will keep sliding around. I hope this helps!
