As a kid I had a crf80 and my friend had an xr100, we rode those things together multiple times a week for years. Even after we both got full size mx bikes we still spent more time on the small hondas. 15+ years later we both still ride ours together whenever im back in town! The past 3 years mine hasn't even had the foam cover for the air filter and has had about 3 oil changes its entire life lol. But still starts up first or second kick even if it sits for 6+ months at a time.
The 200x engines are the same way, really robust machines!

Got 1 here I re- stored,BIGJob,outside for years,can't bring myself to sell it- reliable as an axe and so much FUN! Ride on.

Me too I had a 95 and I took it to the shop to get some work done on it needed new pistons and rings and while it was at the shop someone broke into the shop and stole it so the shop gave me another brand new 95 and about 3 weeks later the cops recovered the stolen one so I Ended up having 2 of them 1 for free had the titles to both

The 1995 iteration was my first bike. Couldn't kill it despite my best efforts. Solid as a rock.
I have a 1996. Thing must have 1,000 hours +!!! It still runs mint no noises or smoke. its unreal. I beat the piss out of it. I will be overhauling it soon though.
I just had a 2001 given to me with a bent valve, put a new timing chain valves and rings, runs perfect.
That was my first dirt bike but 2003 back in 2008. I learned to wheelie from 1st to 5th on it. It was hard to kill. I did bend an exhaust valve but that was it.

Was my little brothers bike when i was riding a yz125. I used to have more fun on his than mine. Popped such good wheelies
I have 2000 xr100r best bike ever. Perfect for mid ohio. Coming soon! It's getting tired 120 kit would be great.

XR 100 was my first bike as a kid, i've still got it and just tore it down today looking to get a BBR 120 kit sent over to the UK. I will NEVER sell that bike!
My first bike was a 81cr80 then a xr 80 00 then a xr200 great bikes. Reliable bike. Will get you home and back everytime.

My old man bought me a xr100r same year model. I regret selling it years ago.
Yeh man that's right , they get expensive but honed to the task and no probs ! It's a really cool build 👍 I'm into stock and modified Yamaha DT bikes , lol the stockhorse of bikes in the Yammie neck of the woods 😂 love them standard and built , good fun we all have doing the bike's! I'd like to do that with the supposedly new XR150 coming to the US and it's supposed to be street legal I think and pimp it out like that would be fun for a wheelie machine
I did it with ttR125L in 2003 made it fit for an adult it was a wheelie champion

All but that front fender. It's ugly. All those Lil xr's up to the 200's are awesome play bikes even in my 50's. Doing ground up on an 02 RM 85. Never grow old. Stop playing and you may as well throw in the towel.
