Ahhh the revs and then the click into 1st gear is so soothing to my soul, it’s either this bike first or TL1000R for my collection but either way ima have both eventually lol
I first heard of these about 4 years ago looking for a sport bike..my first bike was a bobber that took four years to build. In my photo actually. Anyway I found this bike in fresh black for 3k and had 12k miles. I regret not getting it. I love my gsxr but I still want one of these
Truly stunning bikes the SP1 & 2 . Sounds fantastic with the Yoshi's. Would love one but a little hard-core for my wrists and back. Just about get by on my 954RR2 Fireblade.
You should try 1998-2003 Aprilia RSV Mille, the 60 degree Vtwin was really good when I owned mine for 3 1/2 years, I still regret it but I found a SP1 for a good price near me
Thank you for your comment! They are a really special bike, I'm grateful to have the chance to ride it! Trust me, I normally wear all my riding gear, this being the exception. Its easy to feel safer than you are when you are on a closed air strip.
I have the 33rd one off the line in 2000 (original year). Less than 3,500 miles and 95% original with all original parts. I'm looking to sell it but it will not be cheap.
Let me just put a t-shirt on and some ordinary pants, winter boots and no gloves and then ride +200 km/h on this 20 year old bike. Seems safe to me! 😅 Ride safe man...
Hahaha, thanks for watching! Definitely not my best decision. I always wear full gear, but in such a controlled environment, I got lulled into feeling safe. I'll put the gear on for the next one!
I have one. Wynd that sucker out! You're barely starting into the power, pull that tach to ten, shift to 2nd, hit 12k, shift to 3rd. You'll be at 100. I'm not a liar, I just know my bike.
I agree that would be faster! Unfortunately the bike belongs to the museum so it needs to he treated with more respect than if it was my own personal bike!
Good ear! The 270 degree crankshaft in the FZ-07 gives it the same firing order as a 90 degree twin. So it sounds like all the cool Ducatis, RC51s, and TL1000s out there!
Thanks for watching! I always wear full gear on the street. I made a mistake feeling safe on the private strip and have caught a lot of flack for it on here!
I always wear all my gear, this being the exception. This was kind of impromptu, and having a private airstrip with miles of visibility has a way of making you feel safer than you are. I appreciate your concern!

That sounds like shit. An example of what sounds amazing is a Hayabusa with Brock’s Sidewinder. Nothing sounds better…nothing. I’m referring to sport bikes obviously but Brock’s on a Busa is perfection
Very distinctive amazing sound even for an oldie.
Still a great looking bike 👍
That bike is timeless.
My favorite
Also great sounding!

Tl1000r is a death trap with that rotary rear shock, awesome bike notheless
@@nikolas7030nearly everyone that owns a TL changes out the rotary damper so it's hardly worth calling them a death trap
I need an RC51 someday beside my NC29 CBR 400RR and RC36 VFR 750F!
RC51...aka... The Legend...The winner of EVERY superbike championship in the world and 24 Hours Of LeMans. I have a 2005.
That was was the RC 211V
The 5cyl
Ho avuto questa moto qui! Quanto era bella! E come si guidava!❤❤❤

Great sound and beautiful bike
Nice to see it’s a :51 vid.

Nice and what a great sound , thinking to get one of these to refurbish and keep as Classic thanks gaz #gazworld
Excellent
Put a jacket on dude !!!
I was thinking the same thing! You wouldn't even want to imagine how he would look like if he started sliding on the tarmac if he would have crashed!
He’s never come off at 100mph, the clock is ticking buddy!! 🙈🙈
friend now has an 06 in the black n red w original tires and 1000km, i was to buy it from seller but passed it along to him 4-5 yrs ago
i love this bike!!!!!
But, those gear driven cams, words cannot explain.
I owned an 03 and nothing compares to a RC51. THE LOOK THE SOUND AND THE RIDE ! NOTHING!
I love that bike
perfect video
Thank you!
Sounds really close to my bike, the continental gt 650
Legendary Bike just like my SC28.
Very Nice Sound! I have 2003TYPE SP-2 whiite /Bulck at Japan.
とても格好いいです!!
you can see the smile through the helmet :))))))
Awesome 👍🏾
People say RC51s are bulletproof, I’ve never owned one but I’ve seen 100,000 mile examples.
peep the video length👀
is it for sale?

wear leathers ffs
Short shifting pretty weak 👎
It’s a v twin that’s why I had one. The 4 cylinder bikes run higher rpm
@@timlynch539 thanks for the clarification I was unaware of the rpm range difference
The bike has a 1,000 miles and belongs to the museum. I try to treat all the machines with respect. Pretty enjoyable even without hitting the limiter.

Cool story bro
Each to their own. One thing is for sure nothing sounds quite like the thunder pig. I believe it's something to do with the timing system
Brilliant bike but sorry to say a 916 with Termignoni is better sound any day.
