These washers are so easy to work on. Too bad they kind of stink and seem somewhat low quality with the non serviceable gearbox, but I do like the vmw platform when done right (washers that actually use water and have a dual action agitator, and the commercial versions seem to perform the best).
But as a DIY a new gear box is a couple hundred bucks and I think I would just replace it instead of buying the same junk over again. Well, as long as the cabinet wasn’t all rusted out.
Also you have something going on with your audio, it keeps cutting in an out a lot and I’ve noticed this on other videos too.
Those are spots where I clear my throat or cough and I mute the sound. I could cut them and use blur transitions I guess. I didn’t think they were that noticeable. Thanks for the heads up. Thanks for watching too!

What you are using is silicone grease

That's about the worst thing that whirlpool did was go from direct drive to the gearbox and I wish all washers were still in direct drive.
