Another great vlog Pen.....the cardigan is gorgeous, as is the little jumper. Your work is sooo neat. Loved seeing the kids cooking and everything else you put into your vlogs is so enjoyable...take care x x x 🥰
Thank-you Pene for another packed episode. The little yoked cardigan was gorgeous and beautifully modelled. The little ones are taking after great grandad, in the kitchen. The piece on anxiety was very informative and made a lot of sense. Seeing footage of the sea always makes me happy. Thank you. All ok here. We had a lovely family day on Sunday. Both children and their partners and both grandchildren. Our son doesn't live locally, so it was extra special to see him and his girlfriend. Have a good week. Take care. Xx
I waited for the right moment to watch and listen to your video, I do savour them. Your great grandchildren are delightful with lovely Mums. I enjoyed every second and learned a lot today. Thank you!
I love the cardigan you knit for Mila and the pullover for George! Absolutely beautiful!! ❤ I enjoyed the whole podcast, Pene! Thank you for sharing! 😍
Thanks Debbie, Reading your comments from previous podcasts I'm missing mum's reminiscing. I'll have to have a chat with Pete and see what we can come up with! Thanks for joining me. xx
So lovely to catch up with you again Penelope. Your chat about anxiety always makes so much sense. The flowers in your garden are so pretty and gosh those tulips are so tall. I loved seeing the children helping their mums with cooking and my golly having a husband who cooks. What a dream!! Take care and enjoy your busy time ahead. xx
There are always so many things that I could comment on each time I watch your podcasts! I really do enjoy the variety of topics and today was no exception - the beautiful little cardigan, the amazing wood frog, seeing your great grandchildren and listening to your chat about anxiety - not to mention the beautiful film at the end! Thank you, Pene, and enjoy your busy couple of weeks xx
Pene, this was a wonderful visit. The flowers were so beautiful! I loved the cooking lessons! Enjoy your guests and know I’ll be thinking good thoughts!
Great video lots of news and info.itsvery enjoyable to watch. I saw Mrs harris goes to Paris on a plane journey last year and I loved it. We need more people like that in the world. Thanks for the video. Very much appreciated. Tell Pete he's a great cook.
Pene, I so enjoyed having my tea and knitting while watching this episode. Your great-grandchildren cooking was delightful. They can make me a cup of tea, a cake, or a pizza any day! I loved, loved, loved the film at the end. Flowers are just endlessly beautiful as far as I’m concerned. Salam wa sa’aadah
So happy to be having a cup of tea that Tommy made with you! Flowers are such a joy. Tommy's dad is a birder and Tommy is fascinated by them. He can now say, bird, flower and bumblebee - so cute!
Thank you for bringing another lovely podcast into my home. It was a real treat to settle down with a cup of coffee & watch it. Loved Petes cooking slot, great ideas for tea. The children’s baking & pizza making was adorable. Your info re anxiety was very useful as well & made a lot of sense. Enjoy your time with your friends & look forward to seeing you again whenever you get chance. Dianne 😀
Lovely video as always. You add so much variety. The great grandchildren are adorable. I love the baby and little girl knits too. Your garden is looking beautiful. You are very lucky to live within walking distance of a beach. It looked like you had it all to yourselves. X
Hi Penny. I love your podcasts. Your great grandchildren are absolutely adorable! Our oldest grandchild is graduating from high school next week so I’m a long way away from “.greats”. I’ve loved every minute of my four grandsons. So lucky to get all the hugs.🇺🇸
Wow! Your garden is beautiful. Lovely to see you chickens happily scratching around. Love listening to your anxiety talks...makes so much sense. We do get ourselves worked up about things that havent even happened, so silly. The cardigan was very interesting. Looks like it would be a fast way of knitting it, very pretty. ❤❤❤😊😊
Hi Raewyn, I was amazed at how quickly the cardy knitted up and happy with the results. Pleased you're enjoying the chat on anxiety. See you next time. xx
Hi Pene,Thanks for another interesting Chinwag.Your great grandchildren are gorgeous and so enjoying their cooking 😊 Your journal pages are coming along I love the beautiful fabrics you have chosen . How nice to have such delicious dinners cooked for you by Pete,my husband isn’t such an accomplished cook but he will prepare something simple if I’m feeling like a night off. See you next time and take care ❤
It is so nice to enjoy Pete's dinners, I bet your husband's simple dinners are so appreciated as it is great to have a break from routine. So pleased you enjoyed the episode. xx
Hello Pene, I Think of you often and your Mum especially when I walk passed the book I bought "Chronicle of the 20th Century". I hope your enjoying the good weather. I like to go back and rewatch your past videos always something to learn and you cheer me up.
Hi Avril, Lovely to hear from you. I have been on holiday at long last. First time for four years! We're back now and hopefully I will record another episode this coming week. I'll get my Chronicles book out and have a leaf through for some ideas. We were away for ten days and the garden seems to have exploded so busy time. See you soon, take care. xx
I am smiling widely since discovering you this evening. Your videos are so charming and comforting that I looked back at your very first one to discover what your career might have been, and there it was...a counselor. Of course...and a very good one I am sure, judging by the well-being I am feeling as I head off to bed. It is so wonderful that I have 78 more videos available! Thank you for all the effort you have put into your presentations.
So happy you have found me Marcia. You must live the other side of the world to me as I'm just waking up very early! I loved my career as a counsellor; so pleased you enjoyed it.
@@penelopeschinwag I live in Michigan and have begun your videos from number one, so now know we were both born in 1949 and I also worked for mental health. Your videos continue to send me off to bed with a smile.
I've looked up Michigan and see you have the lakes and much wild life. Seems a lovely place to live. Well I never, born in the same year and both worked for mental health! Keep smiling! xx
Thank you Pene, this was delightful to watch. The piece on anxiety was very informative. Your tulips are lovely such amazing colours. When I see Tommy I can always see Pete in his little face.
Fabulous wonderful chinwag episode. I had to rewind a few times to re listen to the anxiety ABC section so that its really permitted my brain. Good tips to dial down that unwanted anxiety. I have now taken to reading everyone’s comments which are so lovely, positive and interesting to hear views and little bits of others insights. Thank you for continuing with Chinwag. It gives us so much xXx
You are truly blessed with such a close and loving family. Pene you give such good advice and counsell on anxiety. But I was thinking the imaginary boss was unkind and his directive would unnerve most people ! 😮😮 Enjoy your break and look forward to the next time.
You're right his directive would unnerve most people. Rational head on 'I wonder what he wants'. Irrational head on 'This is awful.' Next time will be talking about how to get the right head on!! Thanks for joining me. xx
The kids are really growing! Mila looked lovely in that cardigan. As did George in his cables.😘 I loved seeing what's for tea.I can only imagine having a chef in the family is a real treat. Does he clean up too? Swoon🤗 I've heard of frogs making anti freeze. The wood frog must not burrow into the mud if he is exposed to winter sunshine. I wonder if the burrowing frogs also make anti freeze. The spring peepers serenade is always a welcome song each spring as they wake after a long winter. Your memory book is coming along nicely. It's fun to find just the right fabric for a project. Those tulips were so tall! The deer ate mine this spring so I was lucky to see any flower😯. I have finally potted up my flower pots with annuals for the patio and around the garden. I have put some chicken wire over the impatiens to keep the deer from them. They ate them down twice last year. And the hostas were a side salad😭. Maybe they will eat elsewhere this year. Knock on wood. Thanks for all the great info and photos. Always a great chinwag with you. Take care.
Hi Karen, It is a real treat having Pete cook for me whatever I want. He does the mains and I do the puddings or as we call it in England 'afters'. I'll have to look up burrowing frogs now - one things leads to another! I would love to hear the spring peepers serenade. I can't imagine having a deer eating my flowers and I love Hostas but we don't have any luck with them - too dry I think. Your garden sounds a wild life haven. One of my chickens had to be put to sleep yesterday. Down to two now and they are elderly and don't lay. Is this it or can I manage a new brood that's the question? See you next time, take care. xx
My mom doesn't want to give up her two hens, even when I said I would take them. The problem is winter. it is treacherous for walking across the lawn. Next year, they won't have them, if I have to steal them away! Wildlife, ues. Our dogs passed away two and three years ago now. The squirrels have come back in droves! I watch them now, and have at least two.mothers. I can see who is the boss! Luckily, we have had a bear for a few years. They destroy the feeders. But we don't worry too.much as most of the critters come out at night when the chickens are safe in their coop. And their safety is our main concern. But I enjoy the wild birds and now it is hummingbird season. I see the main flock has arrived now, so I will need to cook syrup every day. Amazing creatures!

Ooh to see a hummingbird, wonderful. Losing dogs is so hard isn't it, well even a chicken too. Thanks for all the lovely info. xx
