I enjoy your eclectic mix of subjects. The cabled jumper pattern for Pete is so nice. Very classic. I wish I liked coconut. That cake looked divine! I had that pampered chef cake decorator. I used to go to parties alot. Seemed like one co worker after another would host them. Lets just say i am well pampered. My mom used to sell tupperware, back in the seventies. There are still the red, gold and green bowls in her cupboard and all the classic storage containers in the drawers. funny how the stuff I buy at the store comes and goes, but I still have Tupperware and pampered chef items bought twenty five years ago. Thanks for sharing. I love the purple shawl. 😘
Yup, Tupperware and Pampered Chef two great staples. It's so true that after so much time they are the ones we turn to. The shawl is looking great. Will show you when it's finished. Thank you for sharing with me.
I just watched episode 32. Your pie looks awesome. I love your life . I live in South Carolina. I am so glad my sister, in North Carolina, told me about you. I sew every day and enjoy your episodes. I listen as I sew. Keep making us smile 😊
Hi Pene. Lovely to spend time with you again. Been looking forward to watching all day. This morning was spent at the bridal boutique for my daughter's final dress fitting. Andy sends his thanks for the mention. Your Aunts shawl is looking great. Lots of lovely projects to look forward to after your trip to the wool shop. Finding the ta information really interesting, really makes you think. Raspberries, coconut and cake, perfect combination. Have a lovely week, take care 🌈
After looking forward to it all day I'm glad you weren't disappointed! How exciting having a final fitting for the big day. So pleased the TA is proving helpful - it does make you think. Yum, gorgeous cake. Take care.
I have started to watch a few of your video’s ,just love them, i also love your knitting, such beautiful wool, i have never really got into knitting ,but do admire it. I started late into watercolour painting, and have enjoyed doing it, but now do lots of different craft things and have found youtube just fantastic to learn different crafts. I love your youtube, you are a natural. I live in australia,so different from your country, but my ancestors were from your part of the world, like england ,Scotland and Ireland, way back a few generations.kindest regards to you, pamela hall
Lovely to hear from you Pamela, or is it Pam? I go by Pene, short for Penelope or Pen! I've tried watercolour painting but no I couldn't master it. However, since I was a teenager, I'm coming up 74, I have knitted, sewed, quilted and now I have found paper crafting as I am making memory books. I'm loving it, and as you say have watched UA-cam and learned so much. I am in the process of making a memory book and was a wee bit out in my cutting. I can hear Julie's voice saying 'No matter, everything can be put right' and sure enough I have. Thanks for messaging see you again.
Oh! I love the wool you bought to make Pete's and Tommy's jumpers. 🥰 The shawl is coming along beautifully! It was so nice to see you!! Thank you for sharing. Take care. 💞
Your channel recently popped up as a recommendation for me and I am thoroughly enjoying your videos. You are inspiring in many ways not just crafting but I did buy some Shetland wool for the first time and will attempt the sweater pattern that you sometimes wear. Your interesting facts really are interesting. After watching some older videos I spent the last weekend saying to myself, ‘shall I or shan’t I’ and kept smiling. Thank you for all of your helpful advice. I look forward now to more time spent with you.
Thank you for saying I'm inspiring that's so kind. Let me know how you get on with the sweater pattern please. So pleased you are interested in the facts, things we don't think or know about but interesting as you say. Shall I - shan't I - well join the club!! Glad it made you smile. See you next week.
Another brilliant podcast. Loved the baking section. The oval dish you served the slice of cake on we have the very same one together with cereal bowls, plates and mugs. Think it’s called Arcopal. We used to have a touring caravan and it was popular to have this make of crockery as it didn’t break easily. It’s donkeys years old but still going strong with no chips in any of it. The design has faded a bit though but so what! 😀
Arcopal - I looked on the bottom and it is! When my daughter was at school there was a small shop next door and every time I collected her I bought a piece. We have used it every day since! She's 53 now! How lovely you have it too. Thanks for keeping me company.
My mouth was really watering when you were putting the cake together! I shall definitely be adding the ingredients to my next Waitrose order! And because of your recommendation, I now have a copy of the WYS Croft Tweed pattern book… Today’s TA chat was very interesting - I can recognise my own responses to certain situations! Thanks for another lovely chinwag Pene! xx
Hi Helen, I hope you enjoy the cake as much as we did. So many lovely patterns in the book I hope you find one that inspires you. So pleased the TA is proving helpful. Thanks for joining me each week. Take care.
Hello Pene. I've just joined you and had a lovely time, thank you. Love your shawl, will have to go and have a look at the pattern. Really enjoyed your Transactional Analysis segment. I'll go back to your previous episodes and catch up. Have a good week. See you next time 😊
Thank you so much for joining Sandra. Yes, please visit episode 12 for the beginning of TA. It builds in its understanding. Glad you enjoyed it. Three more rows on the shawl and then the edging so hoping to have it finished to show you next Saturday. Take care.
Your cake looks delicious and I love all your yarn purchases. Your granddaughter and GG daughter are beautiful, that curly hair reminds me of my eldest daughter hair when she was little, she used to say she had scribbly hair :-)
What great luck the wool shop was open, such a treat! Love your choices 😍 Thanks for another lovely chinwag, I would have liked a slice of that cake too 😁😘
I have just discovered your channel and I am so loving it. Is the shawl pattern by Helen Stewart a UK designer? I live in Maine in U S and can’t seem to find pattern. Any suggestions? Thx so much.
How lovely, you are welcome. If you google Silver River Shawl it is on Ravelry. Can you access that easily? Or you can access her by her own website on Curious Handmade. In episode four I show you the Dust of Snow shawl by Helen too.
@@penelopeschinwag I now have pattern from Ravelry for the silver shawl. Anxious to get started on Christmas gifts for my two daughters. Thank you so much for such a speedy reply. Since I’m new to your channel I’m treating myself to slowly enjoy all of your episodes ..what a treat!

Oh so glad you found it. It takes me two weeks of relaxed knitting to make it. Enjoy the previous episodes.!
@@penelopeschinwag out of curiosity…what is “relaxed knitting “ for you?? How many hours a day approximately.🧶
just sitting in the evening no more than an hour a day as it doesn't do my hands much good to do anymore
