Everything he is saying are things that have been on my mind for years ... Thx for standing out and giving hope to a secret atheist

When a spouse dies, sometimes the surviving spouse will at times sense their presence, or hear their voice, or talk to them as if they’re still very much there. And sometimes even briefly see them.
The psychological literature calls these experiences grief hallucinations.
And it’s entirely normal. And it’s also entirely normal not to have such an experience. People grieve in very different ways.
And yes, I will draw out the obvious implication. One or several of Jesus’s disciples had a grief hallucination, and the rest tried to put it together and understand it the best they could.
And there was about twenty years between the death of Jesus and the book of Galatians by Paul, written around 50 CE, or AD in older language. So, earlier than the gospels.
Twenty years is plenty of time for urban legends to develop and grow.
Galatians mainly focuses on whether Gentile persons who convert need to get circumcised or not. It’s a pretty non-inspirational book in my opinion.
PS I’m re-reading some of the Bible as an adult and an agnostic.
And no, I don’t think reading it necessarily makes a person an atheist or agnostic. It all depends on where a person starts. People are pretty good at justifying all kinds of things to themselves.
Keep preaching Brother Mike, in your own special way. 😉 🚴🏾‍♂️ 🏡
