On the Eucharist, one only needs to read the Didache to understand where this ritual came from. There are no words of institution in this earlier writing, but the language surrounding the sacred meal is much more relevant to the mythos of Osiris (the broken bread) and Dionysus (the true vine).

great talk, as usual. If the old testament is virtually all mythical, fabricated (no archaeological evidence for moses, exodus, wandering, Joshua's exploits etc) then what does that say about the new testament which is the supposed fulfillment of OT prophesy? If the OT is all made up, why not the NT?

(Insert trump hand motions) "I am the best apostle. I have the smartest apostle brain, and Jesus talks to me more than he talked to the other apostles. Jesus is such a good guy. We're best friends. Jesus has never had a better friend that me, Paul. "

As I understand it, the Zoroastrian religion had some ritual very like the Eucharist.

The Pentecostal Church that I grew up in, has female clergy. The founder was a woman, and the 1st head bishop, or Chief Overseer. The 2nd Chief Overseer was also a woman, and the current Chief is a woman. There are woman Pastors, Elders Deacons, Reverends and Musicians.

It is quite possible that Christianity as a Jewish Messianic resurrection mystery cult predates Paul. It was, in fact, to such previously established congregations of the Diaspora, none of which he ever claimed to have founded, that Paul addressed his letters: citing the Septuagint and referencing Hebrew myth - perhaps merely advancing his own "spin" on whatever views they most likely already held. Christianity, furthermore, most certainly predates the purported ministry of Mark's literary Jesus figure.
Paul gave their mythic Anointed Savior a name (Phil 2:10), Mark gave him a Curriculum Vitae.

Why do people treat Paul's words as if god said them?
Paul claimed to talk to god. That's it.

Jesus's followers were not called "christians" - the followers of Paul were called christians - Acts 11:26 And when he (Barnabas) had found him (Paul), he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. *And the disciples were called Christians* first in Antioch.
Peter was sent to the Gentiles and not Paul -
Acts 15:7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them,
"Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us,
that *the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe* ."

I'm not sure if it's fair to say that Paul invented Christianity. He might have made some innovations that became widely accepted, but not entirely new. The Jesus that Paul preached bears striking resemblance to Joshua the High Priest, described in Zechariah ch. 3 and 6. And I wonder how familiar Paul would have been with Philo Judaeus' teachings. The church at Ephesus was founded by a man named Apollos, who studied at Alexandria. When Paul taught his doctrine there, it was well received. It is thus claimed by the Church that Paul founded the Ephesian church, and not Apollos. I believe Paul simply planted the seeds of his doctrines in the most fertile grounds, among Hellenized Jews and God-fearing Gentiles. The messianic Jews rejected Paul because he spoke directly contrary to their own doctrines. The geopolitical spectrum of the time shouldn't be glossed over, because it establishes the prime motives for Paul's teachings and are of immense value in understanding Paul's perspective. I'm sure the speaker here is familiar with Dr. Robert Eisenman's work in this field of study. Very good presentation, at least. It does plant some seeds for thought and further inquiry. Thanks for sharing this.

Saint Paul is Apollo, the sun god. His father was Zeus and his mother was a Pleiade. As a Gemini twin (sis was Artemis/Diana) his ship carried the standard of Gemini. Paul aka Pollux is also id as Mercury/Hermes and his companion Barnabas (father of Mercury) is offered a sacrifice of cattle. Apollo had lots of cattle who are found in Taurus. His mother (one of seven) is found in the head of Taurus.

No...you are wrong. Constantine did not make Christianity the official religion of Rome. It was Theodosius. Constantine made Christianity legal and ended any remaining persecution of it, but he did not go any further than that.

He obviously hasn't bothered to read history or the Bible concerning the main thrust. 1 Peter shows that Peter, the disciple, held the same beliefs as Paul. All serious secular scholars agree with Christian scholars agree that -
    1. Jesus was crucified
    2. The disciples truly believed they met Jesus multiple times after his 'resurrection'.
    3. The creeds were fully in place (jesus is divine, rose on the 3rd day, the father, the son and the holy spirot) within two years if not immediately of the crucifixion.
There are ossuaries showing that Christians existed in Jerusalem by 40AD before Paul even went to Jerusalem.
The key difference held by scholars is that Christians believe there was a resurrection while others believe the disciples hallucinated meeting Jesus after the crucifixion.
As such everything this guy states is blown straight out of the water by historical and archaeological facts.
You may not want to believe what I stated but that belief will be based on wishful desires and not facts
