For anyone having issues please remember to add a camera and assign it in the "custom turret controller" control panel to get the "always aim at sun" option.

My problem is I am new to the game, and I didn't know there is two parts to the hinge and once I worked that out, it worked like a dream.

My game's custom controller doesn't have Always aim at sun" toggle, so I still use scripts. Neither on a vanilla creative/survival or the vanilla server I am on. The toggle on my screen says "Share Control"
Hmm interesting, I was not running any mods I will start a fresh world and see if I can replicate.

O had the same issue but you have to weld the camera first

I cant find option in settings "Always aim to sun" :/
I don't think it's real. Probably a mod
@@werd3426 I do not run any mods in my current playthrough so I can assure you it's not a mod. Now there is a old script in the workshop that does this same feature but i much cooler but even that one does not require any mods and can be dont totally Vanilla.
You have to attach a camera make sure you didn't skip that step. If you do have a camera attached, Are you up to date? There was a patch. Also are you sure you have custom turret controller in the K menu ?
There was/is a bug if your using Weaponcore, weaponcore disables the track sun option on Custom turret controller.

No it's on PC. I'm sure it will still work on console as long as it's updated to Automatons.

There's no "always aim at the sun" option and I don't use any mods, single player.
I'm able to set up a button pannel with turning on/off aiming at the sun but it just doesn't rotate. Have power too, tried it both in survival and creative too.

@@chrisbt5508it does work on consol but I have to use only rotors if I use a hinge it just goes back and forth
