South movies actually have good and unique stories unlike dumb bollywood movies which are mostly copied from south or hollywood films. The last time I saw a south indian movie where the guy fights with his gfs father (or) a rich vs poor story, was back then in early 2010s. Anirudh makes better bgm/songs than any Bollywood music producer. Not only you have probably not seen enough south films, you've not heard any south Indian songs either, apart from probably 'naatu naatu' and 'arabic kuthu' kind of trendy songs.
