Another banger video. It all looked a bit too sciencey and nerdy for me, way too much rigorous protocols and endless data points, but i got the gist of it: don't go camping in the rain.
Ok, I’ve watched several videos from your channel by now, the narration and humor are pure gold, also one of y’all is completely beautiful and the other two not so much. I’ll just leave that there so you can figure out who the beauty is. Haha! Love the channel! Now on to read some of the articles you do to round out my knowledge intake for today.
I have 2 inexpensive Joan Chen Chinese Chef's knives that I think were like 35 bucks back in the early 90's . I havent tried them outdoors but I have absolutely abused them and they just keep going . Whats handy is the shape essentially gives the knife 2 tips , and I use the one closest to the handle to poke holes in metal cans because it doesnt matter if it gets dull. Or use the back edge as a meat hammer. Maybe that'd be an interesting knife to test if had a higher end one .
The Ontario Hunt Plus Camp Knife is one of those knives that was probably made to star in a video just like this... Another great outing with the crew! Keep up the great content!
Online culture will probably say this test is ridiculous. However, kitchen knives are usually the first knives grabbed in an emergency - it's like the statistical average of people who will travel west to escape the law. So, I found this informative.
@TheScrawnyLumberjack As though the design constraints are zero sum. Germany has very strict laws regarding outdoor knives, and knives in general, so they have "rugged kitchen knives."
Fisrtly we must declare that you guys are freaking footloop..!! Our neighbour whom a retired chef almost had a heart attack. Glad he didn't but his vocalbulary was rather colourful duration of your vid. Personally I would like to know what will happen to those knives. They all could be fix (light bulb moment) that could be a great video. Seeing you crazies regrinding, reshape & resharpening demaged knives. A challenge if you wish to accept it. Cheers from Australia. BTW, salutation to all who serves, a great Memorial Day to all. Stay safe.
Ha ha. Yea It was a little painful wrecking these knives, and the idea of refurbishing these knives for a video is a good one. That may happen. Thanks for watching and commenting. Much appreciated.
@@nothingbutknives2286 Bet you would get lots of views with a headline "Pioneer Woman Bushcraft". Temu would start selling replica PW knives for $3.45 (free shipping).
I guess it would be cheating to use an Old Hickory cleaver. But that would be my top kitchen knife for camping/bushcraft. I have one of those Pioneer Woman large chef's knives. I got a job in a remote city and picked up a cheap room with shared kitchen. I did all my household shopping at Wally World and took on the daunting task of picking a "good enough" kitchen knife from there. It was a lot better than I expected. It was easily the best chef's knife in the store, which was clearly not understood by the typical WM buyer, since the color coated POS were marketed far harder than the PW brand. The average American has the knife selection instincts of a small transgender cactus.
LOL. The Old Hickory Cleaver is awesome, and a great choice. Hopefully the OKC brand survives, and the Old Hickory set sticks around. Its always fun to hear Pioneer Woman chef knife stories.

Ha ha. Nailed it.
Well done guys, thank you!
Thanks for watching!

We grow beards to hide our true beauty so we don't throw off the ratio.

Sounds like a tough beater knife which is great for outdoor cooking. Impressive that they have lasted so long.
Weird, wild, questionably informative. Will watch again. Can't wait for y'all's next outing.
"Questionably informative" is where we thrive.
Thanks for another fantabulous video. I sure do look forward to and enjoy them
Thanks for watching.

Yea the Hunt Plus offers a lot of bang for the buck. Thanks for watching.
I got one of those old wooden handle butcher knives that works pretty good for making feather sticks! Great video, keep them coming!
Wooden handled butcher knives are iconic for a reason. Thanks for watching.
Good video. Keep up the awesome work. God bless.
Thanks for watching. Appreciate it.
The inner metallic sadist in me loved this.
The daily preparer of food in me cringed.
Keep up the good work.
Yea that sums up our feelings too. Thanks for watching.
awesome video!
Thanks for watching.

That is a good point. Wish we had thought to mention that.
The counter point to this is if I make a kitchen knife designed for abuse and outdoor tasks it will be a shit kitchen knife.

Cool video man! 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching.
Had to read out the entire Dalstrong product description🤣
Dalstrong product descriptions are a surprisingly good read.
I've seen Pioneer Woman knives in the clearance isle at Walmart. Now I wished I'd picked one up. Oh, prettiest model yet.
The Pioneer Woman knife was a fun surprise. We might just start throwing it into our other videos from now on.

I am absolutely in love with this young lady here. She is incredibly beautiful. Just stunning!
Now that's a dam good idea on testing out kitchen knives, a person might need too use one .
Nicely done!!
🇺🇸🇺🇸🪓🔪👍👍
Thanks for watching. We were a little surprised by how well most of them performed.
Dang painful to watch, like taking a Zamboni 4x4ing. And just as funny. 🤣
Ha ha. That is a good analogy.
Cold Steel Slock Master is actually designed for this, allegedly. They are a good butcher knife and an acceptable chef's knife.
Great suggestion. We need to pick one up.
I could watch Kelly all day. OMG she is gorgeous.
Why were the guys even on camera? The girl was the star. She looked great with every knife.
hi
how are you
can i talk you
