"12 sandwiches"
*looks at video length*
youre a legend
I love these for feeding workmen. Whenever we have people working on our house or yard I like to make lunch for them since there’s not a lot of places to grab a bite around our house so these all look great!
Painter, plumber, roofer, demo, and carpenter- just generally a jack of all trades here. You were my favorite clients to work for back when I did residential work before moving on to commerical. Many of my clients would spend the entire day comparing prices and nickle and diming me on material costs which usually meant making less than minimum wage for me after paying my crew. If more people were like you I would have stuck around regardless of pay.
I have done a lot of excavating work and people like you are my favorite to work for! working in the heat and then being surprised with lunch or drinks is the best! I've seen the boss man knock a few hours off the final invoice for these types of people!
Oh my lord I wish I had the ability to grab each sandwich through my phone
a one hour wolfpit episode 😲 the episode we wanted but don't deserve 🤣
My Jamaican mother made oxtail often. I didn't appreciate it until I was an adult. So good.
We're not strapped for cash, but your mission to save $ for those who might need to....I applaud you, Mr Wolfe. Your suggestions are excellent

Thank you for book keeping
M m
number 6 is my favourite
@@Donte_MacI lived in eastern North Carolina off and on for about 20 years. So for me it's number 7 pulled pork barbecue with vinegar and hot pepper dressing with a glob of coleslaw on a bun.😋
@Dragon, thanks so much for those timestamps on the various Wolfe pit sandwiches !!👊🏼
I don't skip ads on this channel.
I live where loose meat sandwiches started, but on game days I'll have crock pot full of sloppy joes, a bag of buns and chips. Help yourself.
Oh my heart, an hour long video from The Wolfe Pit!
My WolfePit coffee mug came in last week! Now I sip from my official mug whilst watching videos!
The Reuben with the Polish style sauerkraut hands down. Thanks for the video.
I can’t wait to try these. I found this channel years ago and I love coming back to it every time there’s a new video. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Glad you like them!
My mom uses skunked High Life for corned beef. She had stopped drinking and when I found some of the skunked beer in the pantry I confronted her all worried. Nothing wrong, just good food on the way. I had no idea. I was like 8.
TheWolfePit is one of my favorite cooking channels on UA-cam. I am not a vegetarian but I will say I don’t eat that much meat in 6 months, especially at today’s prices. Your seasonings I find very interesting. Keep up the great work.
I appreciate that!
I didn't think I'd watch the whole thing but I enjoyed every moment of it. Great sandwiches.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed!
Holy moly guacamole that's a long hour video
Guiness stout braised corned beef Reuben. I gotta try it.
Dang son
Reuben wasn't even on my mind
Now I can't get it off my mind.
And YES! I definitely remember the Hungry Jacks Big Flakey Biscuit song.
Thanks again Sir! I learned how to cook from the man that raised me. We figured out how to have fun while working with a purpose. Keep getting it!
I love this guy! His wife is a lucky woman he cooks great and he's funny! So glad I found this channel
Try that Ruben on a croissant, toasted just like you did the rye and bagel.. 🤤
I’ve never tried to cook corn beef but I am now. You made it look easy! Thx 👍🏼
I've been watching you for a wile now and really enjoy the budget meals you have shown me and would like to pay the kindness forward here is a store fry recipe that got me through school you can replace meat with mushrooms and is just as good
Really only needs 1 bell pepper for 89c, 1 onion 99c, and garlic if have it but only raises it by 1.10$ And would buy a eye round and make 2 weeks of meals out of a 20$ one this one recipe serves about 4-8 depending on if with rice or not
Stir fry sause
1 cup beef broth/ water + beef ramen powder or just water if don't have
2tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tbsp. Worcester sause
2tbsp corn starch
2 tsp black pepper
Stir fry
1.Cut 1 bell pepper into long skinny strips
2.Cut haulf onion into small chucks
3.oil wak
4. Heat walk on high till when stick chopstick it makes bubbles
5.put meat in stir till slightly crunchy on outside
6.remove meat
7. Oil again if needed
8. Cook onion and pepper for 3-5 min till slightly soft
9. Add meat back
10. Add sause mix together 1-2 min
11. Remove and clean
I love this channel so much!!!
Over 1 hour of quality content!!!
Finding the random picking spices as you eat corned beef is a special treat.
I just got some ox tail, and tongue, now I know what to use it for. Smoke and braise.
The tongue got made in to ox tongue curry. Excellent, but not quite as good as I had in Hong Kong, when it was British.
My grandfather used to make loose meat sandwiches all the time. He'd add tons of seasoning to it and it was always really greasy. He'd typically add cheese and Mayo
Reuben😁 Pile that kraut!!!
(Keep the diet soda for those dump cakes!)
I' ll have to agree. Chuck roast can do magical things!!😉
Oh yes!
Man that is a journey through damn near every era of WolfePitt, strangely enough never saw the animated wolf logo at any point (you know the one that looks like Vlk from Nu, Pogodi!) outside of that there is so many sandwitches and reminders that this was once upon a time damn near comedy show w3ith cooking theme .)
That egg thing in the thumbnail looks on point....I am vegan, but damn...those evil sandwiches look intense@
I love corned beef. I use non-alcoholic beer as braising liquid. It works great. Thanks Larry!
Pumping out the videos lately, great stuff!
This channel has grown exponentially since I initially subscribed. And, this episode demonstrates why so many find it interesting. Thank you for all the hard work and inspiration. You're all but to one million subscribers and you've earned each and every one!
over an hour of wonderful food - thank you
I buy my corned beef for the year at st paddies day sales. Normally I can find them roughly for 99-1.59 a lb around then and they freeze just fine. Throw one in the crock pot and fill it with water. That and time is all you need. You will have tons of perfect corned beef and do with it what you will
If you use an instant pot, you will never use the crock pot again.
I review weed products on my UA-cam channel. As a new UA-camr i need feedback
Mr.Wolfepit, I found this channel several years back with my favorite series being "What are we eating?" glad to see you are alive and well. Something about your videos make feel comfy and remanence about the good ole' times. Love you're content, glad to see you back!
I these too last night when i got off and it was good as hell now i got some leftovers now to take some to work tomorrow for lunch lol
love your down to earth recipes. easy and delicious
Love what you do keep up the great content
😋😋😋 I LOVE SANDWICHES 🥪
Even though I am not supposed to have alcohol I will cook with it.
Nice content lately Larry. I love it during the day, and can fall asleep to it at night.
Glad you enjoy it!
Gobs of brilliance you dispensed. I saved this to my "FOOD" playlist. I will visit this again. Arigato Senpai !
I will say as a chemist I know alcohol (ethanol) boils at a lower temp than water, mid 70's compared to 100 for water. So most of the alcohol is cooked off. I don't drink but have a few around just for cooking.
appreciate the time and effort and cost you went to making this video. great job as usual. thanks.
I appreciate that!
Amazing video! I'm trying these! Prairies Canada.
The song he always plays makes me feel like I'm solving a puzzle in a dungeon of an RPG
6:34 Hmmmm looks a lot like Culver's Rueben Melt. Great stuff man.
:Reubens -- pineapple juice instead of beer or soda.
:Ox tails 12.99 lb right now😔
: score your chub
: loose meat sandwiches add 2 tablespoons of lard to the raw meat. Drain once cooked. When adding seasoning, add back about 3 tablespoons of the drippings.
Love your videos man! Alwaelook forward to them!
I appreciate that!
I sing the Hungry Jack commercial to my cat sometimes. She just looks at me like I'm crazy
Love these videos!
Excellent video. One of your best.
Wow, thanks!
Dude your the best. I binge your videos and enjoy everything you do. Whent to the kids house and dumped out a box of crabs... Should have seen their face. Priceless!
Looks amazing..great commentary. 😆 👌 👏
I keep forgetting this man got mad skills.
thanks larry, looking at that pulled beef has made me so hungry for it im going to wawa cause they have it there, i dont have 3 or 4 hours to make my own, i want it now!
Thx for the video cheered me up :)
OMG! My mouth is watering!!! I am going to make the Rubens just like you did. And the Ox tail sandwiches. This is as far as I have gotten in the video. So delicious!!!
i loved all these sandwiches
Your a gr8 cook man 👍
Thank you so much 👍
@@TheWolfePit yw I wasnt even done watching it and I had to letcha know. And I always smack the like button around
hay man, long time listener, 1st time caller... yadda yadda. Hawaiian king rolls works nice too!!
Damn it Wolfe! Beautiful! Thanks
David
Mr. Wolfe, you are a TRUE break from the political noise and bullshit! THANK YOU for your passion and good honest videos!
Love Reuben sandwich is my favorite on soft rye or marbled rye. And lots of sauerkraut for me.
How could you hate Baking? 😢 I wish I had a proper baking kitchen.
I used to make chuck roast on Sunday just so I could have a cold roast beef sandwich on Monday. White bread, mayo, sliced onion. Sooo good
I do remember that Hungry Jack song.
Skip the pickles, and I'm in love.......
the first one i had no idea what any of those ingredients were like sour crout, russian dressing or even the dill pickle my brain is melted
sauerkraut is fermented sliced cabbage, and russian dressing is like a spicy mayo-ketchup sauce.
@@marymitchell8717 thank you for the info i've just searched up most of the three components to the sandwich and i'm hella intrigued in making it myself but what does it taste like?
_...if pink pork bothers you..._
No, it doesn't because it looks good. I want some...
Ooh, Larry, I was reading a book about moving west and they used oxen to pull their wagon. I got to wondering about what an oxen was so I looked it up. An oxen is just a neutered male cow. I was shocked but I wanted to let you know. Take care and thank you for the amazing work that you do to help people that don't have a lot of money to put towards groceries so they can eat.
YUM YUM WOW AWESOME
The Reuben is my all time favorite!
I skip the advertisements lol, this video UA-cam kept freezing up, even shut down when watching, came back and had to resubscribe lol🤷, Larry great ideas, people can adapt anything they like into them👊, love that👍. On game day I take one of my homemade corned beef and brown it, put on rack in pressure cooker with beer just to cover rack, then I shred it in the juices left, I make some like these, and see what I have in fridge, it's like a shredded pastrami/corned beef mix, yes salty but it's game day, and on different rolls tastes different. Appetizers lol. By halftime I have a corned beef flat coming out of pressure cooker, slice and make massive Rubens with German sweet and hot mustard 🤤🤤🤤, everyone on earth should try inglehoffer sweet hot mustard 🤤 🤤, I do make own but don't always have for game day, you'd think someone would bring a dish, beer, chips, anything 🤷😂🤣, very expensive day for me but it's great day. Pulled BBQ beef, pork, chicken recipes are great and everyone can adapt, another time for pressure cooker lol, but 4th July I have smokers and grills going for 2 days, my way to pay it forward, I do more for cookouts, cuz GameDay is a tradition lol. Love it Larry👊
Holy shit an hour long from the Pit? LETS GO
Where do you learn all the recipes you show awesome
Braising in ginger ale or ginger beer tenderizes and gives a great favor boost. 👍👍👍🇺🇸
I've never had oxtail before. This looks just fine and I'm going to look for it in my grocery store.
What now?? Corned beef is an entirely different thing over here. No wonder I've been utterly underwhelmed by corned beef hash all these years.
This is blowing my mind. My idea of corned beef is more like beef flavour spam!
@@Moocow2003 Yeah, I know. Wikipedia, I think, says what we call corned beef is what 'merkins call 'Bully beef',
I love me a good Rueben! I can't find Russian dressing where I live either! Your corned beef looks spectacular, I'm ready for Saint Paddy's day, I'm a big fan of cabbage, potatoes, carrots, the whole bit. The only thing that costs the most is the meat. Hope you have a video for that coming up too! Irish food💚☘ p.s...your bacon bourbon barbecue sauce looks fire! Can't wait to see that...😋
I made your simple dressing with the hoisin sauce and honey, and added a slight bit of siracha, it was so good I decided to marinate some chicken in it, and let me tell u what when it came off the grill it was , the honey had caramelized the char on it was out of this world, ( plain old charcoal)
Our Cincinnati Bengals shall be the reason for the feast!! 🤘
BTW, there's nothing like Guinness when cooking beef. It doesn't taste like beer when it's eaten but has a nice delicate flavor. I don't know what happens during cooking but it is just wonderful.
:31 great poetry.
I don't know what state you're in, but in Ohio at my local Meijer grocery store they have pumpernickel bagels. Not the same as rye, but whenever given the option I always went with it.
Pumpernickel is a substitution!
The mishap with the pepper.... That's how Chef's discover new ways to prepare foods. Just go with it and let the people have their say. They usually call it a hit!
For Reubens, I prefer Dijon Mustard over Russian or any other salad dressing, but that’s just me.
The Oxtail. I Can't tell about the USA as I am Dutch, but here oxtails used to be just that...tails of an Ox (a castatred Bull), in the Netherlands these were usually work animals. But with the rise of machines, the number of oxes went down and now most "Oxtails" are no longer actual Oxtails. There is btw a flavor and texture difference due to the live most Oxes used to live. A popular dish to make in the Netherlands is Oxtail soup and it is used in stews. It used to be considered a Dutch staple.
Badass 😄

_"It's not only delicious..."_
I won't lie, I honestly thought you were going to say that it's nutritious.
I have sean cow-tails in the wild, diddent look so appeticing.....😅😆
What was the Chinese style pork! Thank you for sharing
My Man You got Me with the Swiss Cheese and Sour Crouk ..
I cheat and make my own Russian dressing with just mayonnaise and a little ketchup. If you have some ranch dressing you can squeeze a little bit of that in there too and mix it all together. Be bold! Try Litehouse brand Jalapeno Ranch in the cold section at your supermarket by the jars of Marie's salad dressings.
Bull On The Beach in Ocean City ,Maryland has some of the best pit beef sandwiches I ever ate. No joke!!!!!!!!
Is Grill Dome the actual name of that fantastic grill? Gotta get me one of those. 👍👍👍🇺🇸
Favorite sandwich for me will always be the Reuben✌😊👍
I like to add sauteed onions and crisp pickle chips to my reuben sandwiches.
