    Love #2. The lyrics hit home for I wish I could just disappear. It's absolutely not possible but one can dream of not spreading pain. Because the pain you go through only spreads to the people around you. It doesn't just go away. It does for the individual but the pain just goes to someone else over what you did to ease your own

    What I love most about this entire trilogy is even if you didn't read the lyrics you can still feel the anger building in each song. They go, love to loss, loss to pain, pain to hatred. Even the coloring and weather in the videos show that.
    It's raining in the first video and everything is black and dark blue. Tears. Sadness.
    Snowing in the 2nd. White and blue. Pain and coldness like his heart froze over.
    And everything is on fire in the last. Red and black. Anger and he's burning with hatred.
    Truly a masterpiece. ❤ I fucking love Lorna Shore so much.

    Such a powerful song! And as you said, these types of songs really require having lyrics pulled out, because the message is in the words, even though not a lot of people appreciate this type of music. I'm compiling a lyric video for the whole trilogy as a one big thing, so if anyone wanted to check the lyrics out or share the song, check it out! Great reaction as always Alex, I really love your content good sir.

    This hit much harder on the emotional level. Part 1 being the lost of a loved one and part 2 hitting all the emotions in one, including the worse one( suicidal thoughts) because there's only so much one person can handle mentally until that person losses it. In this video, thats the stage it went with. Normally I don't get personal with this topic, but I'll make an exception with this one. Its always hard for someone to lose someone close to them, but I(we specifically) don't want to see someone go down that dark path because that will consume them to the worse mental state(mentioned it on 2nd sentence). If anyone start having these problems, please talk to someone. Talking about it to someone may be difficult at first, but it'll help you afterwards.

    • @LaughingSkull451
      @LaughingSkull451 Рік тому +1

      I can definitely see how In A Sea of Fire would be in the acceptance stage. "Sea of fire" reminds you of Hell, and when you think about it in this sense, it's your pain that is your hell. You're still in it, and you just...become accepting of it. Not that it would be good for you, but still...lol

  • @iambecomejeff
    @iambecomejeff Рік тому +2

    Commented this on CharismaticVoice as well but think it's worth re-posting - this has to be the most viscerally aggressive representation of "grieving a loss" I've ever seen expressed through music or any other media...one of the greatest concept albums I've ever had the pleasure to listen to/watch.
    Art like this at times almost seems to "lifts the veil" and reveal things within myself I'm still working on confronting - I have mad respect for Lorna for creating this and the message it spreads.
    My heart goes out to all who've fallen on the beaten path; and for those still walking it, I hope for us all to stay strong and keep moving forward.
    And to Alex, whether you see this or not, thank you for giving an outlet for those who need it. Especially for those who don't feel they have it - it means everything. I've felt this way since I started following the channel some 4 years ago: you're one of the most genuine creators on this platform and your care really shows.
    Keep on rocking, and never stop being you.

      So sorry to hear about your loss... Since it sounds like this just doesn't let you rest, have you considered therapy? You don't have to fight every battle alone and sometimes, we just need professional help to sort out our feelings. Of course I don't know what's going on in your life. I just wanted to drop by and mention therapy since many people don't even consider it in a scenario like this. Wish you all the best, stay strong!

It's hard to cope; I'm not sure what to do or how to handle it so that I can be there for him and the rest of the family. I want to be the strong one, but to be totally honest I'm terrified and I'm not ready to lose my dad. I'm 26 and he's 56. I'm anxious about what the future holds. But I try to stay in the present, to find something to escape for a moment. A book, exercise even video games, I'm trying to stay focus on one thing that helps me escape this insane world just for a short time. Right now i'm painting miniatures, it's not much, but it helps. I t keeps me occupied and I can clear my mind. Then when they are painted I will probably buy a bow that I wanted for some time and try archery. Find something that helps you clean you head, something that will make your days a bit better. It will take some time. Ultimately everyone will be gone, so why not to use our time to do something that we will be proud of. Take care, we're all gonna make it brah!

    It's been three weeks.
    My mom and dad found me with my wristis cut and after I took, I don't even know how many pills...
    I was really close to going to the other side, but I don't know why, I don't know how, my family knew when to break into The bathroom ( yeah, I don't know how, but my mom, dad and brother went inside The bathroom at The same time to get me).
    I was almost on the other side, you might say, but my family brought me back.
    They took me to the hospital, they stiched my arm very quickly (before I left home my dad made me puke all the pills that I've taken, cause thank my dad it was in time) and than sent me home.
    What I'm trying to tell here is my experience, not necessarily with the lost of someone, but with my battle with depression, wich everyday there's a winner.... me or my fucked up thoughts....
    But yeah, now I'm getting help, and feeling a bit better.
    (Had another suicide attempt but thankfully I survived)
    After all that text, what I'm trying to say is...
    It doesn't matter when you think you can't go you anymore, YES YOU CAN, I had to find it the hard way, but Yes you can make it! Do not let the fucked up thoughts take over. You have friends and family that care about you, so don't be afraid to talk to anyone, speak your mind, say what bothers you.
    Yeah, I've talked too much for a comment. Sorry bout that
    Just know that there is people for you out there anytime.

    You know, I have some difficulties with showing and.. feeling.. my emotions, so I think if I see how you emotionally react on such clips maybe I’ll.. learn how should I express and behave.. Nevermind, I just felt some liitle heaviness in my throat and in the eyes while watching you and this suffering man in the vid and thought about all this…

    I would like this kind of band so much more if the singer didn’t feel the need to sing over 95% of the song without letting the music breathe or have any dynamics
