I think Lorna Shore is the only time I have seen a band get a new vocalist and have every single fan (from what I’ve seen) be 100% all in with the ‘new guy.’ I’m not even into deathcore and this shit slaps hard

A good chunk of Will's haters were never into Lorna Shore in the first place and if you check out Immortal Disfigurement's Spotify stats and monthly listeners you'll find out they don't really like CJ that much they just hate Will cause he's got the spotlight atm
It may just be Will being such a wholesome frontman. His instagram shows him just being a regular person doing silly things, but he manages to do all this insane vocals

I know lorna shore Isn't for everyone but i can honestly say that I feel Will was the missing piece that the band needed to unlock all of the potential each member has to offer.
I completely agree. Tom is awesome and CJ is even better (maybe lol). Will is on another level.

Tell me about it. I actually got into the band when CJ was in the band but now, to the hellfire was fresh and new sounding with Will, and each song they’ve put out, has been nothing but extraordinary.

Lorna Shore is the first deathcore band I have genuinely liked since Suicide Silence. That was also the most disturbing video I have seen in a very long time too lmao.

Lorna Shore's new stuff isn't radically different from the stuff they made with CJ the blast beats the symphonic elements the choir the guitar solos the melodies they were always a blackened symphonic melo-deathcore band
Also i love Will and LS' new stuff I'm not hating at all. Listen to Immortal or King Ov Deception you'll see the similarities

It took me a while to get into Deathcore too, but I went to see Lorna Shore live in Vegas last month because my brother bought me tickets for my birthday. I love Will, they are incredible.

I have been listening to metal for 30 years and for the past 10, I find myself listening to new things but always going back to the old because nothing really has given me the kick like the bands I would listen to growing up...until Lorna Shore. Dude, I feel that excitement to hear and really enjoy each and every song in its own time. I have been listening to this song for the past week almost exclusively. So perfect.
I have to say lorna shore is definitely one of my favorite bands. I've heard thier old music, didn't really care for the vocalist. that being said, as they introduced will Ramos as their new lead vocalist with into the hellfire. I can honestly say i see my self looking forward to thier next song 🎵 🤘 masterful work they are dominating the scene with thier sound

I think what Alex is trying to say when he refers to Lorna as an "easy" way into the more extreme of genres is somewhat tied to the eerie and melodical ambience they have, sometimes the drums can be a bit overwhelming for people who stumbles upon the more "extreme", I totally agree even though I might have missed what he was trying to mediate! :D

I was never into the death core or really heavy stuff until I saw suicide silence when I was young. Them and bring me the horizon at warped tour and once I saw the walls of death and the reaction those guys got from the crowd and how heavy they were I was freaking hooked
What I think about this song? I fking love it Lorna is my fav band I don't remember ever getting excited for any band's new song release as much as I do every time Lorna drops something new, I listened to the EP over a 1000 times probably and judging by Sun Eater and Into the Earth the album will be even crazier can't wait

Honestly I have been wanting to like Lorna Shore for so long but I just couldn’t. Until this song…I think. I LOVED Dragged Through the Inferno by Immortal Disfigurement, and knowing that CJ was a former vocalist for Lorna Shore it definitely made me more intrigued. So I’m excited to see what they bring to the table now. No doubt Will Ramos is a BEAST of a vocalist!

7:05 FINALLY!! I’ve said this to my partner. I think that the technicality in more “extreme” genres of metal and advanced classical music is quite similar. I’m a classical musician (also did jazz for a bit) and I see sooo much similarities between such opposite types of music!! Especially with jazz! Metal and jazz are so similar!!

I think @TankTheTech said it best regarding heavy metal and especially the more extreme sub-genres bands like Lorna Shore explore: It’s like watching extreme sports! The extremity and/or the sport itself may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but one can’t help but admire the amount of talent, skill, and work put into the “end product,” as it were.
Though it may be difficult for some to hear (I know it took me a LONG time to get used to harsh vocals), those who hear metal and its more extreme kin cannot successfully argue that there aren’t real musicians behind the music. Lorna Shore have captured my attention because of their musicianship and technical mastery of their craft. Theirs is not my favorite sub-genre of metal, but I enjoy their music nonetheless.
