INGREDIENTS
-2pcs chopped onions
-6cloves chopped garlic
-1/2Kilo sliced Pork Liempo (pork belly)
-1/2Kilo sliced Chicken legs and thigs
-1/2tsp salt and ground black pepper
-2Tbsp soy sauce
-2Tbsp oyster sauce
-2cups sprite
-add water as needed to soften the meat
-2pcs dried bay leaves
-3Tbsp vinegar
-1tsp whole peppercorn

i follow this afritada recipe after watching.. but instead of tomato sauce ,campbells concentrated tomato soup nalang nagamit ko kase out of stock ako sa tomato sauce at ketchup instead sa paste la rin akong stock sa paste.but to my surprised it turned out really yummy.at gustong gusto ng husband ko.super sarap daw.nxt time tomato sauce na gagamitin ko.nga pala nilalagyan ko ng kunting suka para hindi mapanis agad at kunting brown sugar.salamat sa recipe mo.

Delicious recipe especially when cooked in a wok. A big difference in taste when cooking on wok, carbon steel or cast iron. Just a side note however when cooking on any of these pans, not to use too much vinegar as it might damage the patina, the non-stick layer of your pan. If it does, you have to season it again.

How did you darken the chicken and make it caramelize? Did you add flour?

I've been watching your videos on repeat kuya. I'm a busy guy so I mixed all the ingredients together. I marinated it for 3 days because I've been busy but I did the steps. I didn't have a cover so I cooked the pork first and chicken second. After that, I mixed the two. It took me 3 hours of watching it lol. The ingredients you have is great but I like just a little bit more salt so I put one small packet of magic sarap. I fed my customers that are black from Stockton California and they loved it. I live in Hawaii and I have a tour business. I wish I can cook more of your recipe. I'm cooking this recipe again today. Salamat po and GOD bless. Aloha

I find it interesting that it is common to break the sauce in filipino dishes where european chefs would never dream of breaking a sauce but in this you are frying with it. Very cool stuff

G'day from Perth Western Australia. No problem mate 👍, I'm a pretty harsh critic with these short clips. Short and sharp with no unnecessary boring bits. This is the only Filipino dish I know and BBQ pork skewers, so keep them coming mate.🤞
