Thank you for your kind message. I live in Saitame-pref next to Tokyo. In Tokyo ,It is no rain last week and this week.So , I am well. But,in Western Japan , It is heavey-rain last week. So, in Hiroshima and Okayama area almost train and high-way is suspended .

Yeah, Cake is right. They have to point at signs, signals, meters, timetables....etc. It's a safety requirement and help with precision, too. The safety part is obvious, you point at a warning sign so you are sure to be aware of it. And, they also point at checkpoint and the timetable (and sometimes the clock, too). Therefore they are always aware of the scheduled. And we all know how rare do Japanese trains missed the schedule.

2021年導入のハイブリッドカーが楽しみです。よりパワフルで静かな走行になるようです。観光客の便宜を図って名鉄との相互乗り入れで中部国際空港までの運行ができるよう頑張ってもらいたい。

東海道線区間（名古屋⇔岐阜）は120ｋｍ/ｈ（MAX130ｋｍ/ｈ）、高山線（岐阜⇔下麻生）は110ｋｍ/ｈの高速運転だと聞いたことがります。それ以遠は山岳路線となるので80ｋｍ/ｈぐらいだそうです。キハ85もデビューから35年、もう引退かな？ このスタイル好きだけど・・・

禅昌寺駅に待避していた「ひだ６号」の富山編成がなかったのは、落石が原因だったんですね。
高山本線はぶっ飛んでいくのに同じような山岳路線の飯田線は歩くごとくゆっくり、電化路線なのに、とてもいい打線とは言えぬwww
