I'm here because I was looking up the history of Aprilia because I'm about to pull the trigger on an Aprilia Tuareg 660. I find your storytelling to be awesome while I ride down the road on i-83 in Harrisburg Pennsylvania lol
Howdy, glad you liked it! i'm doing one for my Porsche ownership history right now, and will be working on one for American cars, Harley, and Choppers next. My buddy had one of the 660's. solid little bike, he complained about the vibration on it a bit, o.w. liked it, but he did upgrade to an 1100 rsv4 shortly after buying it. Super light and easy to flick around, enjoy!
@@NoLimitsNoRegrets nice lol. Now this bike is going to be their new adventure/dual sport model they just came out with. It's a pretty awesome and plush ride. I encourage you to at least go take a ride. It's like if Aprilia made a Cadillac of a motorcycle.
@@turbolag5107 interesting. i'm still on house arrest from heart surgery, but my RSV4 needs the service light reset, so i'll need to run to the dealer soon as i'm mobile again!
Much appreciated and glad you enjoyed! If you're subscribed, you'll see a similar video on the Porsches I've owned over the years (editing now), and planning one for Harley, choppers, American cars, and I also have an older 3 part one on the BMW S1000RR mods I did. Thanks and have a great week!
I use to have a 2014 BMW S1000RR that I liked a lot, but I found that all the performance of that bike was all in the top end. I’ve since replaced it with a 2019 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory which works for me better because of the mid-range torque that it has that I find more usable for all the canyon riding that I do here in Southern California.🤙🏽
Cool, and yes, an I4 needs RPMs more than a V. Don't know if you saw the S1000rr vs RSV4 video I posted, but i went into differences like that. My first Ape was a Vtwin, but these V4s are a nice balance on the curve, and the sound is awesome! Enjoy that 1100!
Motorcycle stories during 15 years of Aprilia history of ownership, which included trying to manage between Harleys/Choppers and sportbikes.
