Good morning. A word of advice: increase your idle speed to 1500rpm to prevent your freewheel starter from breaking. A lot of people make this mistake including me and I broke my starter freewheel.
It is fuel injected lol! Had 3 of them. Only difference in engines in 2001 the 36mm valves were enlarged for more power and the 834 chip was replaced with the RP piggy back eprom...best of the lot, later cloned by Arrow. 10bhp up on earlier model.

Yes, there were some good mods available for the early RSV’s. It’s lovely to see one unmolested though we feel. 👍

Yokes off a newer bike. My '98 has a great big slab lol! Rear shock if off an R... Steering Damper off the R too... nice though.
You said "before everything went fuel injected in 2000", does that mean the '99 is carbed? I thought all of them were FI. Great looking example, btw!
