My EOTECH FAILURE and Eotech Factory Repair Experience - XPS2-0 Fail
I had my first eotch failure on my eotech xps2 holographic weapon sight. The video shows how the holographic sight eotech xps2-0 failed with the loose element, an eotech xps2 review and eotech xps2-0 review of the failure and eotech holographic weapon sight warranty repair and how they handle eotch failures like my eotech issues. While it wasn't covered by the eotech warranty, i had to pay for the eotech repairs, but the small cost of the eotech xps2 failure repair of the eotech xps2 issue was way cheaper paying for the eotech damage than buying a new one.

    What is the main reason to upgrade your chain to a "DIY 520" and sprocket other then when you change the teeth the gear ratio would change?

    • @NoLimitsNoRegrets
      @NoLimitsNoRegrets 6 днів тому

      my primary goal was TX Mile performance, so i wanted to shed every ounce i could, and not only is the 520 lighter chain and sprocket, but it's also rotating mass. that means it has more effect on getting the wheels and everything turning too like the carbon wheels i did vs sheer mass reduction like carbon body or Li battery.

    Thank you for sharing. My husband's mitral valve flipped open and he went into congestive heart failure. Had to have emergency open heart surgery to have his replaced 3 weeks ago. He's on Warfarin but I heard there can be complications on blood thinners. Have you had any luck stablizing your INR?

    • @NoLimitsNoRegrets
      @NoLimitsNoRegrets 10 днів тому

      glad they caught it on time and could fix it. yes, blood thinners is necessary after any implantable device. most recently, i was on plavix (clopidegrol) for the leak closure implants. i had internal bleeding due to a surgical complication, and that didn't stop until a few weeks after stopping the plavix. after my last open heart, it def took a while to get the INR right. it can take a while to get the INR dialed in, but it's minor in the big picture compared to other problems that can happen.

      no, eotech said it had 5 yr, the card inside with it said 2 yr i think. but it's consistent. i had a model 29 S&W .44 that stopped rotating the cylinder, sent it to smith, and they rebuilt it to perfect function for less than i could've bought the parts they used. no, not lifetime warranty, but it's still way better support in the firearm industry for reasonably priced solid repairs vs the 30 ft 30 second support most companies offer these day. glad you enjoyed.

      i designed all mine in adobe illustrator, then went to a signs now or fast signs, very common sign stores, and had these made out of auto grade vinyl stickers. the smaller the detailed cuts, the better chance of it getting rubbed loose or anything.

    • @iSyre
      @iSyre 16 днів тому

      @NoLimitsNoRegrets ahh yeah I was thinking this too. Hmm, your helmet finish def can stick but I feel the matte is going to be resistant to it. I'll try with some I have.

    • @NoLimitsNoRegrets
      @NoLimitsNoRegrets 16 днів тому

      @@iSyre depends on how they created the matte finish. you can have matte paint that is just flat like basecoat or putting the matte effect gunk in clear can knocking out the shine. however, some matte finishes also have rougher surface to really minimize shine. if you know where you want the sticker, you could sand that area nice and smooth if it's rought and that might help.

      so far i've been told know. most transplant patients get so bad that they lay in the hospital for 2-3 months on a device waiting for a heart. For one, i'm not that bad yet to need that, but second, i've been opened up 3 times already and was told by multiple doctors that i'd be too high risk to open up for a transplant. reality is that the valve will continue to break away from the surrounding scar tissue and most likely one of those events will cause catastrophic failure.

    I have an old Polk Surroundbar 5000 for TV watching. It's pretty good at producing the illusion of surround sound (depending on the source). It's a good trick. However I might think twice about buying another Polk product for three reasons: 1) Bluetooth reception is finicky when the source is more than ten feet away (Bluetooth to subwoofer works fine though); 2) The subwoofer enclosure is plastic, producing a "boxy" sound at mid volume; 3) Crossover is too abrupt, with apparently no overlap between mid and bass. You can hear the source of certain mid- to low-frequency sounds literally switching locations in the room when the crossover kicks in. This is not a review of my soundbar, I'm just questioning whether newer or higher-end Polk products are as quirky as this one. In the past, Polk was considered audiophile quality, but I'm not sure about that anymore.

    • @NoLimitsNoRegrets
      @NoLimitsNoRegrets 24 дні тому

      i had polk audio speakers in my old 944 years ago that were great, i have the 5.1 polk audio surround and sub in my living room that is awesome with the sony receiver taught for proper balance. i've never thought soundbars would generate near the sound quality of a 5.1 setup. i mounted my system as you can see with the 2 surrounds by the bed like rears vs like fronts on each side of the soundbar. it's fairly stable, but i don't feel like i've every gotten the right balance between the soundbar and surrounds just right. some movies, the voice from the center is overpowering, some the surrounds get too loud. fair point on the plastic boxy sound of the sub and maybe that crossover issue is what i'm struggling with. it's not bad, it's way better than just the tv speakers, but i often contemplate just getting another receiver and proper 5.1 setup vs this as i know it'd be solid like the living room. i'm pretty baffled how many ppl just buy soundbars and think they're awesome when they'll never be a proper surround sound setup.

Hence, it had an '18 engine in when it left for the museum. had i never opened the engine, i'm sure it would've ran fine forever. rock solid bike if you don't mess with it like i did.

      @@NoLimitsNoRegrets Thank you. I have no intensions of doing anything to this engine, as it's already more power than I need on the street, it's fantastic. I'm thinking of putting a nice gold/black chain and new sprockets on the it though as I think it's still got the original ones, but they seem fine. Maybe some new Racetec RR K3 tyres too. Which tyres did you find had the best combo for wear and grip?

      @NoLimitsNoRegrets 27 днів тому

      @@S1K-Rider wise move. when you do the chain, you could convert it and the sprockets to the lighter 520 pitch. since i rode both street and track, i like michelin pilot roads, whatever the newest gen was. i could smoke them to the edge on the track but have better center wear properties for the streets.

    I undergone CABG 18 months back. My chest in sternum length is full tight. Not able to perform work easily including sleep. I took cabantin one year . No improvement. Why ? Any surgery failure.

    • @NoLimitsNoRegrets
      @NoLimitsNoRegrets Місяць тому

      my chest was definitely tight for a long time, but i did a ton of stretching after both surgeries, worked into it slowly, but did everything from pullovers to yoga to whatever i could to loosen up the chest. can't think of any reason it'd be super tight that long besides it just needs stretched more?

      i always try to put that top lug nut centered at the top as that seems easiest to get it aligned and the threads started, but yes, it's the hardest one for sure.

      @@NoLimitsNoRegrets I'm 70 years old, just had CABG post 12 weeks now. I build and remodel homes. Been swinging a hammer for over 50 years. I will pray now that you truly seek Christ at these moments, He also Awaits, but of course it is your choice. We all have one thing in common, our last breath. But who will receive that last breath is totally up to us. Over 86% of all the people in the U.S. are considered to be lukewarm Christians. I am one of Christ's disciples. So in other words...no where near lukewarm. You will now begin to hear Jesus' name almost everyday. God Bless...Christ's Pastor
