"I like to talk. If youre not into my long drawn out answers.....choose another brand" That is amazing hahahah. You made my day Rich!! I for one love your answers and tires 💪 Thanks for the videos and info!
I wish this breakdown came out last week! I just picked up an M5B Evo and rode it for the first time last night. For what I ride, which is tight fast singletrack, I don't care for it. Everything you mention in this video is exactly what I experienced. Its unstable at speed, squirrely in the soft rocky stuff and just too thin overall. I wish, wish, wish I'd have gotten the VX30 instead. Thanks for the detailed breakdown!
I think the VX30 will do you well. In the mean time, make sure to run higher pressures in the M5BEVO front. That will add more stability at speed. If I'm riding faster terrain I will add two to three psi. Some where around 14 to 15 pounds on the front.
Thanks Rich. You suggested me a M5BEvo rear tire for the soft and muddy Northeast terrain. Boy, this tire hooks up so well. Now it's time for my front tire. I'm a slow single-track guy. So, I guess your recommendation is M5B again.
Deciding on a front tire is driving me nuts. Riding in Hawaii is considerably different than west cost mainland and going from a 2 stroke 300 to a 500 exc, they handle much different. good fun testing though.
Just ordered the VX30 to try out, wanted the M5BEVO but it's not available in my area yet. I will be trying both eventually. If they can match the performance of the VE33S gummy I have on the rear I'll be happy.
I just mounted the M5B front on tubliss. For mountain single track I think it will be good. It’s not too soft, not too hard. I think I am gonna switch back to mousse’s, but with the way it’s constructed whether it’s on tubliss or a mousse it should be a really grippy front.
Yes, LOVE the content, and thanks for this front tire video, I've had an M5B evo in my cart, but I'm ordering a VX30 now!! M5b evo on the back, I'm always happy for lots of hours
Hi Rich. I run trails in New England. KTM 300 xcw. Roots, rocks ,mud, sand, berms, no berms. Some faster open track. I am on my 2nd ve33s for the rear. Excellent all around tire. I run bridgestone x31 on the front now. Also excellent tire. What are your thoughts on the ve35f? I am waiting to install it this spring. It is a softer compound than what I usually run up front.
I was hoping you might talk more about wear characteristics between the two tires, specifically does the compound have an effect on the rate that the side knobs fall off. Kinda the way you showed that gummy rears fall apart quickly at high speeds. Because I feel like with the tires I run currently on the front, the side knows rip off at the base before wearing down kinda like a gummy rear tire. Is that just how all front tires are or is it because the compound is too soft of stiff?
Guys that watched this video have to switched from dunlop mx33 to the vx30 front and rear and what was your thoughts? Im torn between the mx34 or the vx30 all around. No tracks but mostly clay, wet and hard, rocks, roots, single track then fast riding on the open clay runs. Thanks!
What do you think about the VX30 rear tire, I'm an enduro guy but not hard or extreme enduro, it's time for me to replace my rear tire and was thinking about trying the VX30, is it maybe an updated version of the standard VE33 which is a good tire for all around trail use, you may think you ramble on but there is always a lot of valuable and useful information in your ramblings so keep on rambling.
Haha! Thanks for listening to the Ramble! We won't be stopping anytime soon! The VX30 is great for all around riding! I'd say it's more an updated original compound IX09W. Its will perform extremely well in enduro single track situations!
Well The IX09W was a great intermediate front tire. The goal was to make both front tires that out perform the IX09W front in all ways. I believe we have hit the mark with both.
Great vid, but I disagree on one key point. I believe that there is *no* good reason for actual tire sizing to vary from the manufacturer's spec. If IRC says "80/100" I expect 80x80 dimensions. If IRC wants another tire model to be wider, call it...I dunno..."90/90"! The dirt bike world would be a lot better off without voodoo sizing. Just label it for what it is!
I don't disagree, but can you imagine the confusion from buyers wondering if a 84/100-21 or a 95/90-21 fits their bike? I personally would prefer it, but it would be a mess.

love your .... rambling! You always tie everything together by the end. Thank you for these vids.
Thanks for watching! I appreciate it!
Good solid answers. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
Would love see a tire break down on all front and rear tires. Very great infomation.
Who wouldn't want to listen to the ramblings of somebody with so much knowledge?!? Can't wait to give that M5B a try.
That's why I tune in.... Ramble on brother.... You're in sight is priceless.
Truly appreciate your breakdown between the two tires. I am shopping for new tires. I will buy the VX30 for the front.

Glad It's worked great man! Hope the M5BEVO Front works well for you too!
Excellent vid Rich,, loving my VX30 front and rear tires,, can't wait to try the front M5B
Thanks for the support! Glad you're liking them!
I showed up for the tire review.... I stayed for the rambling! pow!!
great videos keep rambling, you got me sold , converting from Michelin and dunlop
Thanks for the black and white answer 👌
Love your vids man. Don’t let the haters get to you. Keep it up!!
Thanks for the great info. I just ordered the VX30 front.

you're my favorite dirt bike dude ever

M5b evo on the back, I'm always happy for lots of hours
Good choice! Hope it works as well for you as it does for me!
Good info thanks
M5b Evo front tire was my favorite tire until I started chunking off the knobs in fast paced single-track. Guess I'll have to go back to the VX30.
aloha how do these compare to the iX-09 Gekkota front for hard enduro?
Keep up, you are doing a great job
Does the VX30 share compound with VX40? Does the M5B front share with either?
Great video, I prefer the explanation, when I'm looking at t tire I want to know what terrain/riding its best suited for, Cheers
how about a 19 inch front rim tires?

M5B Evo vs VE35 front?
Ramble on!
Can you do the video on the color lines on tires if possible?

I like to talk 😂😂 we know that's why we are here mate 👍😉😀
good video! It is a pity that there are no IRC tires in Portugal😢
Maybe one day! We are working hard to expand!

Thanks!
i recently rode on an 80/100 front tire. huge difference in accurate steering than my 90/90. i was surprised.
That is exactly why I use them! Point and shoot!
What's the best bib to pair with the M5BEVO?
Make a video Rich about protect body in enduro who you used.
I feel bad about I cant buy IRC in Poland Broo!!!
Great work👌👍
Will do! Thanks for the support!

What about the IX-09W compared to these tires? Too soft for tight extreme duties?

Hey buddy. Need help in choosing the best tire for loamy Mud mx track? Would you mind helping me out ?
I would say the vx30 and M5BEvo are both really good choices
@@IRCTireUSAMoto thankyouu 💪
What size mousse for the M5B 80/100?
An 80-100 work ok but once it wears in it’s too soft I prefer a 90/90 in the 80-100.
@@IRCTireUSAMoto Which brand? Nitro sizes their mousses on circumference, not tire size (cuz like you say, not all 80/100s are the same size).
Anybody know the mousse size for the m5b evo front?
I recommend the stiffer 235-21
@@IRCTireUSAMoto awesome. Stiffer 235 in the standard front or are you using the 235 soft front?

Ummm when have you ever rambled? Your videos are short and concise.
😀
Thanks for watching!
