Hey Rich! Just got back from my vacation in the Philippines and finally tried out what I learned from watching your videos for over a year. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t as easy as you made it look-turns out, enduro riding requires more than just a good Wi-Fi connection! I spent more time hugging the ground than riding, but hey, it was character building! I’m not giving up though-I’ll give it another go this year, with you as my unofficial online coach. Until I hit the trails back home again, keep the epic content coming!
Well explained and demonstrated, you're a great instructor. Some people have a lot of natural ability, then there's people like me with no natural ability. I imagine teaching a group of people like me would qualify you to be a professional cat herder. For the record, despite my lack of natural abilities, I still get out and have a blast, as should everyone!
I managed to do this on a trials bike, still got to try it on my XT660 R. Always great breakdowns. These videos have really allowed me to advance this skill in a slow controlled way. Hopefully more to come on skid turns and power sliding turns.
Great teaching mate and perfect filming! Aboed your channel. I needed to see each step isolated, to get it. Now I can go out and practice😅. Thanks. Greetings from Germany
Interesting how the movement is most exaggerated in the snap back with your knees and minimizing your arm movement. I have been using this (minus the exaggerated snap back of the knees) for smaller log crossings at speed. Can’t wait to try this out (it’s 10 degrees F right now!)!
Haven't seen anyone else focus on body position. It really makes sense especially watching you bounce front tire multiple times with no engine running. I ride dot approved tires so hard to get good traction. My rear tire spins before I get enough torque to lift front tire unless I'm in tacky dirt. Using suspension instead of so.muh throttle is the key.
My wife’s like: "I’d love to visit the States, see the Grand Canyon, Hollywood, NYC". I’m like: "I’d love to visit the States to go train with Rich Larsen!" 😂
This is good training for go over & up obstacles, but, the locked Knee can get you into trouble if you don’t instantly account ( unlocked knees)for the rear hit especially when faster, if your knees are locked back you will get put over the bars. Forward body movement & bent knees a crucial when obstacles are being hit from rear. I understand this is just a small training method within the entire training.
I'm a beginner. I'm starting on the crf 250F. It's the biggest air cooled bike honda makes. It's a beginner trail bike. I'm 5'11" 180lbs. 39yrs old. Just now getting into riding. Do you think this bike has enough power or snap to learn to do these small blips. Thank you
It's really helpful to see how the guys try to do it, their mistakes and your corrections. Great job, maestro!
Stoked you enjoy this format 🙌

Sounds like you're learning the right way, I'm proud of you for sticking with it. Keep up the good work!
This is pure gold. Love seeing you coach the riders individually one and one and hearing/seeing the live feedback and corrections.
Thanks for the love! Stoked you enjoy the format

You are a gifted teacher. It was a joy to watch.
I really appreciate that!
Come to Europe too!
You are a great instructor. Especially the one on one explaining / till they get it. Awesome method
Just completed Rich's riding clinic in Rosamond, CA. He's the man!

Thanks man!! 🙌
I'm following this guy from France, I'm really impressed about any of his classes !
such a patient teacher- great stuff Rich and IRC
Thank you!!

Thank you!
Team, what an epic video. Incredibly informative and entertaining.
It's given me some drills to practise next weekend. Subbed.

Great to hear!
Really helpful video and really clear explanation. Harder to do in a 200kg T7, but can't wait to try it out!!

Every time I hear the intro drums roll I get all excited!!
🤣thank you!
Thank you Rich. someday I’ll have my one and one class with you and feature in your great tutorial videos. It’s on a bucket list.
I hope to see you in my class one day!
LOVE IT! Keep 'em awesome instructional videos comin! Thank you soo much Mr Larsen
I'm glad you like them! Thanks for watching. 👍
Love what Larsen is sharing with fellow riders.
Thanks for the support!
Excellent coaching!
Many thanks!
Very nice lessons!!! Good job 👏👏👏👏💪🙏

That snap back is key. Takes all the pressure off your arms
Great lesson - thanks
Thank you for watching!
Rich, would you suggest backing out your forks' compression and rebound a few clicks to free up the forks and make this movement easier to master?
Not really. I’d say set your bike appropriately for the trails you ride. 👍
Nice teacher !!!
I wish I had this kind of training when I was young! Its too late for me!!! But great stuff.

Glad it resonates with you!
I need to try this out now 😅 thanks for sharing!
Very helpful, learning to do these in my own sandy ground. Also, there's a fun "glitch in the matrix" kinda clip, very funny: 10:11
I assume this concept will work on heavier ADV bikes as well? (GS/GSA) I'll have to get out there and try it! :) well-explained
Rich, best Trainer on the Globus💪👏
I really appreciate the support!
Thanks.
As always, great exercise.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Are you doing any classes close to Sacramento Cali
Loved it Rich ❤
I've never seen so much sea life in the desert!!🤣😂❗️🦑🦑🦑🦑🦑❗️

Let’s go!! 🙌
Very helpful! Thanks
Thanks❤
No problem! 🙌
this is one area that that not having clutch on eYZ has made riding harder - did not realize how much i use clutch till I dont have clutch -
Definitely! 🙌 on the E bikes are kind of replacing the clutch control with fine brake control. Keep at it!
How do you get into one of these classes?
