Excellent review! I see the appeal of all the 2025 Honda Civic trims. If you just want basic reliable point a to b transportation, then choose the LX or Sport gasoline trims and save money. If you want more creature comforts and save thousands long term in gas and want more power, get the Sport Hybrid or Sport Touring Hybrid.
I would definitely choose the 2025 Civic over the 2025 Corolla. Although the 2025 Civic is a lil more expensive (though I'm sure Toyota will hike up the MSRP for 2025 Corollas so the price difference won't be much), the Civic just gives you so much more from a more premium high quality interior, more passenger space, more cargo space, more power etc.

What do you think about the modern honda sedans that have an automatic transmission pattern of P,R,N,D,S,L (sometimes sport mode isn't in the pattern like on other cars out there such as the Nissan Sentra) as opposed to a full manual mode you see in other cars?
I think the full manual mode is a nice touch and the preferred way by me. What are your thoughts?

Crazy in 2023, My Civic Sport does not have a cup holder in the back seat. Sucks. So glad the Civic is not going EV.
