Can I just say we need more of this in modern Hollywood. Honestly this deserves even more and I really wanna more of this content featuring Mexicans or Hispanics in the big screen🥺.
Best short I've ever seen. this reflects a lot the current days here in Brazil. The playboys think they are bad boys while have some the thugs dreams having a simple job to get out the underworld
this is the best acting in a short film i've seen.. especially the scenes where they're arguing, you can feel the tension and sometimes the world does feel a little bit gray, its extremely realistic and anyone who has lived in these situations will know that

seeing this...man i cried...idk why im even commenting... i lived both these lives... grew up in orange and santa ana... screen doors with holes, no real front door...sleeping in bunk beds with my older sister...spam, rice beans and bologna was all we had... at school, got those bags of milk and another bean and cheese burrito.. having to protect my sister from florencia that ran our block... then moving to the suburbs when my mom got remarried... living large...having my own room for once... getting an opportunity to get an education and my own self went back to those old ways... im currently working on music, working a full time job to pay my mommas bills, side jobs and hustling ... crazy to see the rich lead themselves to the life we are tryin to get away from...damn. great short film.
Remember it isn’t the fault of the rich guy (except taking drugs that it’s absolutely his fault) is just the lucky of born on a rich family he were like that cause their parents teach him that And the ghetto boy it isn’t his fault he is just being responsible about something that is not his fault
Whoever is watching this remember when someone tells you, "If you wanna ride with us and be cool you have to do drugs" there's better friends out there, there's way better life choices, it don't matter if you live in the ghetto or not
I just realized something, the boy that lives in the hood is the same person as the one that is rich. The dad and mother are the same people from the family that's rich, the sister is the same person as the girl from the family that's rich

It is very rare lately when I see a film that has substance and social commentary that is presented in such a way as to bring us on a journey through the systematic dysfunctions of a class society so brilliantly. It dictates a conversation about our social structure in how we guide our children as a community and unveils the shit that is market economy ethics; detachment, threat and fear. Children ungrateful with opportunity surrounding their blind eyes while other children neglected, finding some way to survive. The cinematography, soundscaping, writing, editing, and acting is some of the best storytelling in a 10minute short that I have ever seen. Way to go Timur
Great video! It hits close to home. Your point of views, paths/consequences are as close as you can portray them. I grew up struggling in Santa Ana and I always told myself I wanted to break the cycle and get the heck out there. The reality of it all is not everyone breaks the cycle, the only way to break the cycle is to change your thinking and stay learning. My kids don't know the struggle and honestly I'm glad. One thing I always made sure to do is educate them about my past and my family's past. We have a honest and open relationship and that is important to have with your kids. I never get mad at them as long as they tell me the truth. So far they have been making good choices. I got 2 kids at ASU and another getting ready to graduate high school. Keep the videos coming! You're bound to change and/or save someone's life!

I thought this was a really powerful and the end really made the film! I did not see that coming. It’s not what you have in life, it’s what you do with what you have.
This was a fantastic short film. Growing up in the hood myself, I know the feeling of desperately trying to get out. My man’s at the end was doing it right. All the while trying to bring awareness to the struggle through bars and beats. I also knew a lot of upper class people that tried so so hard to be a gangsta. The contrast between these two lives couldn’t be any clearer. Thank you so much for this. 👏
We are happy you enjoyed the film! A lot of hard work and dedication went into this project. Each person who worked on this film played a key role. Thanks again!
That’s right homies! Life is deferent for some of us but if ur raised in a good family that dont mean u gonna be good look at that foo hitting the pookie! Shout out to the Ghetto Boys I see them! Lil Silent and Trust! Shout from WS MAPLEWOOD AVE 13 HOLLYWOOD!!! .:
I love this!! And I'm sure everyone got this at the end but it shows that even though they have exact opposite life's the privileged sometimes end up doing the things that are stereotypical of a person in a lower income community and taking the opportunities they have given to them for granted. Meanwhile the less fortunate can make the most of what they have and do something that will benefit then.
To me this shows maturity within life and problems from the real world vs growing up with everything and only caring about good times that will later mess you up in the long run because of what you wanna be instead of what you should be
You’re going through this for a reason homie I feel you my family is the same way, use that pain and transmute it into strength homie use that strength to grind to create a better environment and life for your loved ones you can do it bro much love ❤️

You choose what you want to be regardless of the circumstances. Where there's a way, there's a will. I grew up as a white Mexican that saw both sides of the culture. So many deaths, drugs,. FANTA FOFIVE same
This was a fantastic short film. 👏
There’s always a hood side and good side of every culture
i got goosebumps thats crazy

FACTS!!! GREAT VIDEO AND MESSAGE!🙏💯

Sigan así!!🙏🙏
To me this shows maturity within life and problems from the real world vs growing up with everything and only caring about good times that will later mess you up in the long run because of what you wanna be instead of what you should be

Thanks again for the love & support 🙏
You choose what you want to be regardless of the circumstances. Where there's a way, there's a will. I grew up as a white Mexican that saw both sides of the culture. So many deaths, drugs,. In my own family but my parents chose to change that pattern and work hard. Keep the good work, this is eye opening.
This needs to be an actual movie 😭
