Very nicely done gentlemen. Gracias for keeping our Chicano Culura VIVO through Arte, music, expression, love, & inspiration, and even with life experience. Much luv from Utah
Dave, from Detroit wants to tell you keep up the good work & the promotion of our heritage which isn't all about violence as so many portray us to be involved in.
As a recent transplant to tejas from califas is good to see. Unfortunately I wish the influence was a bit stronger. All I see is our people trying to be something they’re not. Great video and keep up the good work.
Bro trip out that's our old crew from back in the day's... We also named it puro desmadre"... The PD crew, Puro Desmadre from out here in California bro
Yo! for this one we used Sony 35mm 1.8 & 85mm 1.8 used a Samyang 18mm for the super wide stuff Chris Luna I believe used his Rokinon Cine Primes for the car tracking shots
This is absolutely some bullshit , I mean you had me thinking I was about to watch one awesome ass movie, if you don’t make in the film industry it’s nobody fault but your own because you badd , I mean Michael Jackson badd . Please please keep up the brilliant job. I love your work
This was US… CHICANO PRIDE Y QUE PUTOS!! at the beginning when the little kid had the hairnet on was a trip because my mom is sleeved out. Left side love and beauty right side dark and demonic but on the left side at the top is a kid just like the one at the beginning no hairnet but the slick back hair and a bandana and he is crying while being held by Jesus Christ. I always ask my Mom who that’s suppose to be because it’s like either me or my brother but she sticks to it’s both of us. Pretty amazing work too. I’m from Dallas Texas but left Texas for California the Bay Area and I’ve been really learning about the way chicanos move out here more so from Southern California. No disrespect to my home town but we are completely different from chicanos out here. The culture is strong and the roots go deep. Of course Texas chicanos have their culture but the roots it seemed have strayed. The whole wanting to be like the African American culture is just embarrassing to me. That’s not US. Love and respect ✊🏽 to mi raza and everyone standing ten toes on theirs.
Jose Compos Torres 1953 - May 5, 1977) was a 23-year-old Mexican-American and veteran who was beaten by several Houston Police Department (HPD) officers, which subsequently led to his death. He had been brutally assaulted by a group of on-duty police officers on May 5, 1977, after being arrested for disorderly conduct at a bar in Houston's Mexican-American East End neighborhood
coming from the horses mouth.... Serio, Faces really in the trenches of LA where this began.. nonethless, Dylan bringing love and not hate to the Chicanos, all love. Art is subjective. stay truchas out in the field bro you are gifted

I appreciate and respect the “Chicano” influence but there was never that traditional Chicano style in Houston tx . A lot of Houston is influenced by a mix of Mexican And black culture . Simply by demographics . Mexicans in Houston wear Jordan’s and say nigga . With that being said THAT is the Houston Hispanic culture . Which I think would’ve been badass to portray . Genuine Houston scene and theme . Not following “Cali Chicano” style . Original Houston style . Awesome throwback project nonetheless .
Yup all that chicano style keep that in cali we got our own culture , you shouldve chose to film some slabs , we been riding swangas since the late 80’s , Im proud Houstonian but this aint it G , much love tho
