Its hilarious how ive been thinking about and ( struggling with) arcanes aoe rotation for weeks now and Xaryu?! of all ppl is the one that makes me get it😂😂

Many People do guides for specs nowadays. Hardly anyone manages to explain the rotation while playing it. But you defiently nailed that. This video is a blessing for anyone who wants to pick up arcane. Nicely done! Keep up the great content! 👍

one thing he didn't mention is arcane harmony buff stacks (up to 20), when you have aether attunement and intuition proc + burden, barrage deals insane damage, great tutorial regardless

So, say we have orb up as an example (One of the ways to get back up to 4 arcane charges) along with clearcasting proc. Why wouldn't we clearcast to get the 20% increase in barrage damage before sending barrage? So basically, missles first to get nether precision, then barrage? Instead of just holding clearcasting just to barrage as much as possible; shouldn't it be a priority to make sure out barrages are buffed by NP?

I thought i was doing something wrong even though I pretty much do the exact same thing as u but cant even compete with FDKs and Assa rogues. Turns out they are just broken since i pretty much do the same dmg on the dummies as u - obviously its a bit different in m+ due to tank/timings/etdc.. but still. I'm so glad they nerfed us twice though totally makes sense
Ele shams are busted too. I was practicing my AoE rotation on these dummies yesterday and they were in execute range so I was doing inflated DPS because Arcane Barrage was doing 100% more damage. Despite that, this ele sham who had 2 ilvls on me was doing MORE AoE dps than I was. Even though all dummies were in execute range. That's like an arms warrior DPSing a dummy in execute range getting outDPSed by, well, an ele shammy as well lmao.
If u have two charges of nether presicion, and u have burden of power , must use blast- barrage o just blast? and then use blast- barrage on second charge only?
Read the wowhead guide, in that situation you always barrage first
That’s only if you are casting something other than arcane blast otherwise it’s blast blast barrage
damm i was doing aoe wrong, i just sended barrages hoping for orbs, not caring about having one of the way to get the mastery back, so sometimes i had zero charges and went to melee to arcane explosion, tried this rotation and doing 900k with ilvl 603
Could you share your procs barrage weakauras?
If you’re new to arcane you should not even try the AoR rotation unless you can do ST with your eyes closed. Kind of joking but you get it, you can get a lot of AoE out of ST rotation with aoe talents. Also if you are going to do AoE rotation you start at 5 targets+ or 3+ in execute, less target count you’ll get more AoE going ST.
So you don't use arcane explosion. Easy enough. I guess only if a tank is running abs the next mob is too far away?
Otherwise, I'll probably just remove the spell from my bars.

WoWhead guide says 3-4 if in execute range, 5 and above otherwise yeah.
do you think Hekili rotation addon would show me a good rotation or it's not working that good?
Hekili doesn't do fire or arcane justice. Turning it off both time gave me big dps gains

how your spells are so fast (no animation)?
for example. missiles > orb . when i did that my char need 1 sec to complete missiles then i can orb
maybe u have little haste, so ur gcd is slower?
You clip the missiles, that means you cancel the missiles and orb immidiately while channeling missile

Xaryu just a tip if you dont have charges its not worth to missle into arcane surge because you would waste nether prec on a weak arcane barrage what you can do is arcane orb so you wont waste a nether precision and a free barrage

why not use Charged orb?
You can if you want, but generally speaking it doesn't add that much value to your AoE burst. It's only decent for sustained burst but even then it's quite negligible.
The alternative however also doesn't add that much value either (Energized Familiar or Consortium's Bauble) so it's really just personal preference. If you find yourself going oom in dungeons, Energized Familiar can help. If you want slightly better ST, go Consortium's Bauble. If you want a 2nd orb charge for bit more AoE consistency, go Charged Orb.

Wich proc do you track on WA for spam barage at 5:04. I don't see any buff to know when we can spam barage.
Not sure what he is tracking on the WA. But when you barage and a free orbs shoots out, you barage again. That was happening 3-4 times at 5:04

@@graok2440 There's no way to know you'll get an orb proc. Weakauras just show when you actually DID get a proc, so you can barrage again and spend the 4 charges the free orb has given you. You have to always have a way to get back to 4 charges like Xaryu says. If you barrage and get an orb proc, that's a bonus and you have to react fast enough to barrage again and not spend whatever spell you have banked to get back to 4 charges (save that for after your last orb proc if you get multiple).

The amount of damage an arcane mage can deal both st and mt far surpasses fury's potential but no sizeable nerf is in sight. i really hate blizzard balancing department.

Comparison is the rational urge of wanting balance between different aspects and categories but it is OBVIOUS that blizzard has always avoided nerfing mages bc one of all 3 specs was ALWAYS in meta which you cannot say for most other specs except for rogues. Both classes are always dominating and this is unbalanced and bullshit. Why they favour mage this much really makes me think someone they are abusing is maining mage and they come out if they touch it or something bc there isn't s logical explanation to this shit class always being s-a tier in every spec and season.
2.3 m dps for 5 cleave sustain isnt something that needs nerf in the current landscape bro.
