great video.. love the in depth mage guides man. i'm main arcane mage, and honestly my biggest struggle lately is getting owned in 1 v 1 in open world scenarios.. world quests etc. so i'd love to see an in depth guide to a 1v1 scenario during a world quest with say a warrior or another melee class. like what are the first steps to survive. thanks a lot for the mage content, looking forward to more!

Great video as always, i’d highly suggest if you could add a commentary arena game at the end of the video just to demonstrate how the build is effective or usage in general. I always look forward to such arena examples!

Honestly when im playing i hardly have enough time to cast like that i end up using missiles back to back to stack arcane debilitation followed by pom arcane blast and a big juicy barrage. They do SO MUCH DAMAGE becuase of the stacked debuff on them. Usually i have around ~20 stacks of it by the time barrage hits

I've been tryin some weird thing where I'll magi, pom ab ab and then use shifting power so that the splinterstorm hits x times within magi window to see how it looks, but its a lot of interrupt time for the enemy. Sometimes the dmg is kinda nice, but I'll try your method instead LOL

I played arcane mage in pvp i couldn’t cast more than 4 secs without getting interrupted

Let's say you miss both Orbs early in the game, that means you'll have to wait till super long to even start doing anything right ? Since you don't want to be casting Arcane Blast with no charges, and the only real way to get charges from zero charges is Orbs ?
you can get them through clearcastings too from high voltage (i believe its called?) but yeah, magi also grants you 4 combo points too!
U can pom arcane blasts and hope for impetus to trigger
The only thing i disagree which is a nitpick about the rotation is that Nether Precision buff affects arcane barrage which is almost an execute so instead of trying to cast two arcane blast, it's okay to cast just one and then arcane barrage to consume the other buff from Nether Precision because unlike pve, in pvp the harmony stacks for missiles only stacks up to 10 instead of 20 so after one clearcasting it's enough stacks to trade some dmg unless you're trying to maximize the biggest barrage to execute someone and it's insanely good, i got a 2 million crit one time.
As a 602 Ilvl mage I can't seem to get above 445k dps......

Arcane mage is poo. Hard to keep up with whats proc'd unless you have 2/3 addons to help. Then if you miss a proc or send a barrage too early healers out dps you
