Seriously guys if u are having the same problem as me where u tried about 10 different tutorial videos and none of them work, try a different usb cord. I switch cords and it instantly connected pls try switching cords! :)

you need a data transfer cable, not a power only cable... basically use a hard drive cable not a phone cable

I had been struggling with the same cord for two hours before watching this video, for some reason I didn’t try different one so I grab the closest cord to me plugged it in and it immediately worked you would not believe the scream of joy I had

Guys, try a different micro usb cable. Initially my controller wouldn’t link with BT or usb cable. I swapped the cable out for another one, hot the ps button and it linked right up.

listen people, we just simply lost our original usb cable and using regular phone usb cables because it's works fine to charge ur controller. if u got a new controller it should automatically work when u connect it with a usb but if it don't just use another USB, one the is longer and looks more like the original one, after it works you will be like ohhh that was so easy lolz,, but yea, just try a different USB and it will connect just fine,, there's ur answer and ur welcome 😉
