Can Not Connect NEW PS4 Controller? here's how to fix that

- In this video I've explained how to connect your ps4 controller a different way. a lot of what I see on here is how to do it with the reset button and hoe to do it by connecting the controller by the cord and turn the ps4 on and off to get it to work. sometimes that is not an option so here is how I get my controllers connected when that doesn't work. I know most people will say "well we already know that were not dumb" well this is for the people who don't already know this works. thanks for watching!
Just letting you know, this is the ONLY video I found that showed us something that worked. I kind of figured that it wasn't a controller problem after 2 new ones did the same thing. So searching "my PS4 won't connect to ANY new controller" brought me to you. Thank you so much! Our 8 year old is so happy this worked.

Guys to fix everything unplug your ps4 and plug it back in then turn it on with your controller and there you go it works again

I was in the same exact situation. Word for word had the same problem and no yt videos that helped, just a repeat of the same old info. However, you are the only one to actually give a fix to the problem. Had a new controller for 4-5 months and it was gathering dust. I was sure it would get drift before I could even use it. Only piece of useful information I got when looking this up, thank you so much cause I was about to throw the controller out of the window cause one video said that the controller could just have a bad battery.😂
What an absolute legend! Worked perfectly! I would suggest though that if you have old controllers that have broke, hence the reason I bought a new one to forget these devices and delink them. Thank you again!

Thank you so much man, I tried every generic solution from the other videos, and your solution ended up working. The key is to make sure you are in the Bluetooth settings when you hold down the power button and share button on the controller, then it should display the dualshock controller you are trying to connect.
And for anyone who doesn't have a controller already connected, so you aren't able to even go to settings. Use a wired controller, you can buy them from pretty cheap only, make sure the controller works with the PS4 and make sure it is a wired controller (doesn't connect using Bluetooth, connects directly through the USB port).

This is the only way it will work I just bought a new ps4 controller and it wasn’t detecting my ps4 so I watched vid and surprisingly it worked! Only problem is you must have a working controller to connect your new one. Hope this helps for anyone!
