I agree. It is important to touch base with the person almost daily. Technology definitely helps. I have been carrying on with a man 3,000 miles away for 4.5 years now. But at some point, someone has to compromise. I'll be moving out to him in a couple of months because I can. He can't move due to the nature of his job. I also have other loved ones out there as well. So in the end, the move is probably more about me, but I am glad I made the decision. Long distance can never be a forever thing.

So in my husband's offense, it's ended but he still talks and texts the woman because they still work together and it's only about work and he no longer has feelings for her😥. I've been in this situation and long distance will dissolve over time. One of the parties has to compromise their life and move over to make it work. My advice to others : Plan ahead if u are in this situation and have a plan b if it doesn't work out. I learned the hard way and wasn't prepared or ready when my partner moved over.

I know it's so unlikely but.. If somebody were in a relationship with me, and they weren't feeling it, regardless of the length of time we've been together.. Just tell me. the hard part about my LDR is that he's in Australia and I'm in England. he's in school I'm in summer holidays starting school in two weeks. we had been together 8 months almost seeing each other every day (we used to attend the same school until he was sent to boarding school) I will admit, I did want him go at all as he was possibly the only person who was always there for me whenever I needed someone. we genuinely fell in love in a matter of weeks and only got together after a month. its been around over a month since he's left and I'm struggling so hard because I'm scared ill loose contact when I start school again. but the video has helped me be more confident in our relationship. thank you :)

I agree with all the pointers you’ve given. Being in a distance relationship is a lot of work. Time zone makes it harder to make plans. Virtual dates, watching the same movie in the cinema or Netflix, etc

I've been in this situation and long distance will dissolve over time. One of the parties has to compromise their life and move over to make it work. My advice to others : Plan ahead if u are in this situation and have a plan b if it doesn't work out. I learned the hard way and wasn't prepared or ready when my partner moved over.
LRD are bullshit and for desperate people with insecurities. they only fall in love for a reduced and "safe" version of a partner with no real commitment or an actual image of the person. i saw a LRD break because when they met, she thought the dude was taller... all the sweet talk was over just because of the height. its a women thing. its for desperate psychotic women who cant handle real things. i met so many girls that wanted to force LRD because its safer for them. its all talk and no reality. its literally a fantasy lego kit for the heart, where they can build their dreampartner without having any reality checks.
