I've been in this situation before.... Sometimes they just keep you as an option or validation. The most annoying part is some of these girls instigate the relationship. Another annoying thing again is they know they are not serious with you but don't want another girl around you.

The person that keeps calling, responding, having you in mind, when tested for respect for you, they fail, they love what they can get from you daily, a good feeling. Such individuals have not grown up and can't handle most of life's demands, a real relationship is above callling every time and constant obsession, it is about thoughtfulness and mindfulness, especially towards sex and social activities. Love is obsession, partnership is respect.

I find a lot of self doubt in myself coming across things like this. At the same time people are so forceful for things to happen so quickly in this generation. Maybe this person wants you to build yourself in all the right ways. Maybe you should focus less on them and more on you. You break your heart because you refuse to focus on yourself first. My ex girlfriend said she didn't feel a connection with me and didn't love me anymore. But she didn't want it to be the end. This was a very serious very loving relationship. I was crushed, devastated. I got angry tho because I was so upset, I wish I didn't get that way. We argued and blocked eachother and now we haven't talked in 5 months. I miss her so badly. I loved her so much. And now the thought of some other guy getting her love and affection is the worst pain I've ever felt. It's a tragedy.
