Had some older Vokey SM4’s in the bag and was waiting to get fitted for new clubs until COVID settled down so I bought a set of Kirkland Signature Wedges to hold me over. I am very pleasantly surprised and have lowered my handicap 2 strokes in the meantime and a lot because of my wedge play which Arccos says is +2.1 Strokes Gained since I began using them. Definitely recommend. Finally got fitted for clubs and although I replaced everything else I opted to stick with the Kirkland Wedges.

The golf balls seem to scuff easier than my Prov1X I normally use, but wow. These Kirkland wedges are not only way cheaper than name brand ones I could get, but I like them! Kinda scary to admit that, but they're in my TXG bag now! 👍 I didn't get the Kirkland putter, I've got a Scotty Cameron 2018 Select Newport 2 putter I'm VERY satisfied with, and love it! I just purchased a set from Costco London ON. I was surprised to see they now have left hand wedges as well. Played today; a dozen of so balls on the range then off to the first tee. My old wedges were; 52 Volkey, 56 Cleveland and a 60 Taylor Made. I love the new Kirklands, looks, feel and performance. In my book the best "bang for the buck" in wedges out there. One fall back would be the lack of simple options such as grip size. After my round today I changed the standard grips to a midsize with 3 wraps; got a game set for tomorrow morning, looking forward to impressing a few more of my golf buddies with these wedges.

Im confused at the reaction here. The Kirkland wedges, beyond a shadow of a doubt, out performed the Sm-8s. Why is the advice here "if you are looking to save some money." The advice should be, these are the best performing wedges on the market, regardless of price-point, and you should be going to grab a set as soon as possible. If the brand was anyone else, Titleist, Cobra, Vokey, Cleveland or whatever that would be the case. But not here. Why?

I’ve had these wedges in the bag for 2 months. Once I put better grips on, they’ve been excellent. Great feel around the greens. They have a soft “forged” feel even though they’re not. Very good out of the bunkers, although they may just luckily fit my needs with the right bounce.

Southern California Design Co. does have the Kirkland wedges on their website. They also say that some of their services include sourcing manufacturers for products, so it's entirely possible they don't manufacture them, but source them. They do list Indi Golf (wedge manufacturer in Southern California) as a client, so perhaps it's made by them.

Been hoping you all would review the Kirkland wedges for a bit, thanks for taking the time to do so! Rick Shields reviewed them and loved them too.
I don't think you can give higher praise to these wedges than Mike saying he could put these in the bag considering he's been gaming Artisan wedges. If I didn't already have too many, I would've grabbed them a month ago when I finally saw them in store.

I've gamed these for about 2 months and I have to say, I'm impressed. I've gamed SM6 and Ping Glide Forged, the latter abducted by my high-schooler, and while they're not a 'soft' feeling and harsher on off-center hits, they perform like the big boys. They sit nicely behind the ball even with the big bounce of the 60*. I'm very happy with them and may even pick up a backup set!

Good day all. I purchased a set about 1 month ago. I seem to play well with them. As background I'm a fan of One Length. Built my first set 10 Years ago. Pinhawks. Loved the concept. 3 years ago I Purchased Cobra F7's and this last March I purchased 2020 Forged Tec OL. That sent me on a Wedge Search. F7's went to SW. The TEC's went to AW. The F7 SW feell lighter than the TEC's. Just felt wrong putting the SW with the TEC's in the BAG. My 60 Degree was a Calloway SURE OUT. Not a traditional wedge. I added an inch to the shaft. And it worked well with the F7's. But it did not Feel right with the TEC's. So instead of dropping $200-$350 for a couple of wedges I picked up a set at Costco and spent some time with them. After a couple of hours I pulled the TEC's out of the bag put the F7's back in added to Kirkland wedges. I have not looked back yet. I play a 9 hole PAR 30 with small greens. I played 2 rounds about a week ago and shot 60, even par for the first time. I know its not 100% because of the wedges. I averaged 1.4 putts for 18 holes so feel I can say I did not drop any shots because of the wedges. I never had a set of expensive new wedges before. But if I knew a set of wedges played like these KIRKLAND CLUBS do. I would have purchased good set a long time ago. If you would have a hard time putting a Costco Club in your bag get some head covers and know one will have to know.

Rick Shiels did a terrific review on these wedges last year. Like you, he couldn't say enough good things about them. From looks to performance to value...all got checkmarks. I just received my set yesterday but due to the dumb lockdown, will have to wait to hit them on the course or range. I have a few impressive divots in the backyard though. lol I'll have to compare my SM7 60 D grind (12 degree bounce) to the Kirkland 60 that only has 8 bounce. I love my Vokey but don't think 2 60s are needed in the bag. FYI, if I recall, these are only available as a right handed set currently.

Bought a set of these this year cause I wanted to add a 60 to the bag and needed a new 56 as my other was worn. Lost too much distance and had to shelve the gw, but overall I love them. I play a Kirkland 3 pc, use the Kirkland gloves and now have two of the wedges. I know folks will look down on these items, but they all perform well and are best in class for cost. I take pride in the fact that I can play solid golf with less exclusive tools and joke with playing partners about the Kirkland stuff cause I know there’s a stigma but I just don’t care!

I actually like them more than the Cobras.
Very steady and predictable lengths along with excellent feel around the greens.

I have a set... £144 for three great wedges. I did have them re-gripped though as I found them to be very thin. They also seem to have low bounce as on muddy ground they dig in a little. However, I've had a lesson since acquiring them and am hitting them great and the results are excellent too... just need to learn how to putt to make the most of the extra scoring opportunities.

I bought them a few months ago and found them to be solid in the looks department. Surprised on how minimal the offset is. My gamer 56 is a newish Vokey SM7 F Grind and I have not replaced it with the Kirkland 56, but I will once the Vokey grooves are worn. I replaced the grips straight away - they are cheap feeling and not to my liking. Shaft seems fine, not a distraction. Overall, they are a solid wedge and an outstanding value for those that can see themselves playing a Kirkland branded club.
